Your human shield,

kanita

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Ooooh, Kanita the Italian cake sounds like just the thing. Is Eric making it?!?!!??

Los Angeles, CA(Zone 10a)

No. Who do you think taught him to bake? ;)

No. San Diego Co., CA(Zone 10b)

Clever lady - get him in the kitchen! lol

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

Given the predicament Weegy was in on Saturday with her clam diggers, I think we should all chip in and buy her a life-time supply of velcro !!! (or at least several pairs of purse sized pliers !!!)

Louise...please don't pull this stunt at the Wedding !!!

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Not wearing those pants to the wedding on Saturday that's for sure Mike!

Imperial Beach, CA

Don I would love to ride up with you and Pam, I'll be at your place early!

I expect to see pic of this wedding Louise!

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Oh, now you're asking for it Amy, I will bore the heck out of you all hopefully too with the CD!
Amy, I cannot find Miller Chill in our area, even called Miller Brewing Company and they said it was limited, can you pick me up a case??????

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

They don't have it in Long Beach either...I've gone to about 10 places looking for it.

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Then Amy will you bring Mike some too!?!!??

Jasper Co., MO(Zone 6b)

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Yes Anna that be the beer!

Temecula, CA(Zone 8b)

Jasper Co., MO(Zone 6b)

DrDon ~ "Where's your read glasses?" (lol...)

Temecula, CA(Zone 8b)

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Bongo too!

Rosamond, CA(Zone 8b)

Wow, Marie told me about this and asked if i was going, i didn`t see the thread. That date sounds good, What do you want me to bring?

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Jello soup!

Tolleson, AZ(Zone 9a)

Uh what is jello soup?

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Marie, Dawn was going to bring jello to the RU and she was worried it would be soup by the time she got there, has a long drive. Anyway, needless to say, she didn't bring jello!
It's kind of an inside joke.

Tolleson, AZ(Zone 9a)

Ok I got it. It would not surprise though for some one to come up with Jello soup :o)

Imperial Beach, CA

Miller Chill huh, you guys are sooo hooked!

I'll bring some for the party and a little extra for you and Mike to stash in the fridge for a rainy day.

Los Angeles, CA(Zone 10a)

George: Biscotti is soooo easy! I learned to make it when I was living in Italy. I will send you a recipe and instructions for you to try. You have to try it. But I will make a couple of batches of biscotti as well for the party.

kanita

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Thanks Amy! Hugs to you!

San Bernardino, CA(Zone 8b)

Hi Louise :-)

I was unable to attend the Roundup with all you guys this past weekend due to being sick. If I'm able (and you will have me), I'd love to try to come to your place. Is that okay, or did I just rudely invite myself???

karen

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Karen, I fully understand. Yes you are so very welcome to my potluck.

Rosamond, CA(Zone 8b)

Weegy you goof ball I did bring the Jello, didn`t you see it, there was a huge pan of it and it had like a cheesecake topping on it, plus I brought some other stuff too. It didn`t melt either btw. It was good too, you missed it woman. Marie you don`t beleive her. lol

San Diego, CA(Zone 10a)

Dunno yet but I am going to try.

Ramona, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh K, now you've REALLY got me wanting to move to Bonsal! So peaceful looking. So much space to plant!

I may join you all if I can get away. I'd love to taste some homemade wine! After all Louise, you may need someone to find some kind of tool to help with another clothing malfunction. And yes Don your needlenose are safely back in the toolbox. :)

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

LOL T! I hope you can join us!

Santa Ana, CA(Zone 9b)

OK, this is a little late, but do I read above that Arlene is in the area on the 21st (although busy until 3pm) -- and then the 14th was picked as the date? while urging Arlene to "come after"? but it's the wrong date?

I have pencil'd it in on the calendar. My DH is still catching up on his/our commitments after three blessed weeks out of the office, so I can't swear we'll be there, but will try.

I will probably bring Italian (well, mediterranean anyway) tabouli... it's like, the only thing I make anymore! Somehow (aka MikeJD) it has become my specialty. Maybe I will use FLAT *Italian* parsley this time! And some fresh marjoram from the enormous plant Kanita gave me...

The marjoram took a beating while I was gone, -- planted one day, left to fend for itself with sporadic watering (maybe too little, maybe too much) for three weeks the next ...but it is not dead...

~'spin!~

Rosamond, CA(Zone 8b)

The story of my life spin.

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

Man does not live by tabouli alone....LOL... but i think I could !!!

Los Angeles, CA(Zone 10a)

The marjoram will definitely bounce back.

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Ok, we're getting close to the big day! I'll post directions and time the week before, how does noon sound for everyone? We'll have a bonfire when it gets dark and just party into the morning hours. If someone wouldn't mind bringing one or 2 big ice chests, I'd appreciate it. I will furnish water, soda and the main course of lasagna and garlic bread.
Looking very forward to July 14th.
