Potluck at Weegy's July 14, 2007!

It wouldn't have mattered about either date because a Sunday is not good for Weegy and I already have a yacht thing I have to do on Saturday of the week end I'll be there. Will miss coming but I do understand.

When Summer is over and I start coming regularly in the Fall, I'll have another one at my house.

I know we aren't doing any plant trades on this gathering....but was wondering if anyone would like some aslepsis (butterfly weed)? I have dug up about 6 seedling and they are just sitting outside in a 6 pack waiting to be planted in someones garden. Just let me know and I will bring them.

Since we aren't doing plant trades ;-), ;-), anyone want Leonotis menthifolia, Salvia coccinea "Coral", or Ledgers iris rhizomes (won't bloom until next year)?

Spin, the blossoms are orange/yellow.

spin I took 2 of your leonotis menthofolia at the ru, the ones left over at the end and both quickly dried and withered up. I do not know why either. I still have them, I have them indoors trying to give them cpr but not looking very optimistic.

May I come, please? It would be great to see ya'll I know (and haven't gotten to see for the last coupla years) and meet the rest of you!

Yes I do want it. Tell me how to not kill it though. How long till I can plant it in the garden and should it be in filterd sun or direct heat at this time? I was watering it ever day at first and it looked bad so I tried letting it dry out but it did worse.

Gypsy the pampas grass just took a crap. they never got more than the one or two green leaves that they had and they faded in the sun. I `m trying to give them cpr still, to see if there is a spark of life but crap I am so upset. You know I didn`t care about the list, I just wanted them. :(

The budehlia`s are good, the redhot pokers are looking greyish purple but are alive, the Mexican sage bushes I divided and they are quite hardy little boogers,(thank God), the toothy things the leaves all burnt up but the stems are still alive and I`m working with them, the silk tree is good and the other things are still alive.

Daisy, all are welcome, the more the merrier. Looking so forward to the 14th.

Weegy I am going to be in Ontario this Sat., my friend that died`s grandaughter is down from Texas and wants my dd and I to visit her before she goes back. I found a place today that is off the 395 north of victorville, that is a horse ranch like Dr. Don`s and they always give away free composted horse manure mixed with wood shavings, they just load it in your truck for you. If I can I may stop there before I go and try to tarp it down in the truck so it doesn`t fly all over. I should have them water it down for me.

If you're asking me if I want some manure, nope, don't need it. If you want to stop by Dawn, I'll be around, just let me know what time and I'll give you directions to my house. Let me know.
Did anyone say they have a couple of large ice chests I can use on the 14th? I have only small ones.

I just hate to waste a trip East without driving to pick up horse crap free for my horrid soil. I forgot we are taking DD`s little car. So I am not getting crap. :(

Yeh, they do that a lot. We went to Detroit, Michigan for Dinner last weekend and when we got home late Sunday evening the youngest, Dawn, was on the roof meowing like crazy and rubbing her face on anything that she could find. Tommy who is about 15 came out the cat door and walked us into the house. The other two, Nemo and Reba, showed up and greeted us also.
