Gee, I am only going 12 miles to work today!! I have Thursday off to play with Jo and will see everyone else on Saturday. If you feel the earth shaking, it is Fiona, not an earthquake. Lol.

Talked to Laura (4xthefun) She and the 4 kids are on the road. They left Corpus Christi yesterday morning.
She may be my daughter, but I think driving from Texas with 4 kids (ages 5 to 13) is heroic!

Don will be giving us the directions when he returns to his home. He'll probably give us all the last minute instructions also.

I nominate 4xthefun for sainthood too. lol That's a long trip with 4 kids. phew!

by all means.... Laura is a courageous woman... I may be crossing the country and traveling the most to be there... but she has certain to face more challenges than me.... I will never complain of the distance!!!

OK....I printed out my boarding pass....another "but first" taken care off...now to run into town for last minute stuff....

Re: 4xthe fun coming with 4 kids from Texas...at least they get to SEE things along the way...sounds a lot better than when I had to ride in the trunk from Santa Monica to Bend, Oregon when I was 7.

Kathleen, after I found the Crocs black flip-flops at Henry's and kept looking everywhere for more 'black-on-black' I decided I'd waste less time if I went straight to the source, so I ordered 3 pair online. Once I find something I like I always think they'll quit making it so I buy enough to last me awhile. I'm the original 'bulk buyer'. Then they have to go and send me the ad with the cute 'ballerina' flats they have now.....hmmmm, I'll have to think about that.

Well, Here I am now in Banning (travelodge have Wi-Fi) cause I can't live without internet! lol...

Sherry, don't get me started on shoes! I bought mine from one of those free shipping both ways internet sites, plus I use Fat Wallet, which gets you a small rebate (have to count my pennies!). Waiting for delivery today - hope they fit! I got Cayman and Nile. They didn't have the colors I preferred, but we can always use some variety in life, right? :-)

3 more days.... Sorry I had to moving motel to Banning cause Motel 6 don't have Wi-Fi (high-speed internet) so that's reason I need Wi-Fi in case something happen to me....

I lost Rusty's favorite purple rubber playing ball somewhere? I think I left in Grants, NM! oh sheesh! I think Rusty hide his favorite ball under the king bed! lol... Oh well, I going get new his favorite different rubber ball!

I m stay at Travelodge in Banning and rest for now but yesterday, I did stop in San Bernardino and get Motel 6 without Internet at all... oh sheesh! So, this morning, I load up my stuff and Rusty then I drove back to East I-10 and get motel at Travelodge have Wi-Fi (high-speed internet) So, I stay until May 21...

Mission update:

Kidnapped balvenie from the verdant PNW......stop

Drove down the Oregon and California coastlines, drove through a very large tree.......stop

Abducting Zuzu subject this evening for all-night marathon to Temecula.......stop

Will be home with my lovely wife and ungrateful doggies by 4am or so Thursday.......stop
