stop your lurking, that was a BIG perennial thread. I bought a few late last year to add this spring Chocolate Soldier ,some green one.LOL
Daily Musings - Page 6
umm, I mean, yes!
Dave, I was thinking about that Columbine thread but I had forgotten that it was me who started it.
Here's the link, Gram. It's pretty long. http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/605294/
Andy P
Gram, It's a good one.
Columbines are just so amazing.
Amazing or not, I like'em! I like the way they make crosses with themselves right in our yard, developing never-before-seen varieties while I've got my back turned.
Andy, what is remarkable is that nobody said "what? You? A greenhouse? I don't think so!"
xxxxx, Carrie
Carrie, I may have mentioned the greenhouse before.
Hey, everybody. That's Kobi, Sarah's new buddy that she chased around the yard last weekend. Welcome Steven.
Andy P
It is a good one. It was good when I posted mine there last spring, too (sheepish LOL) Thanks for the link, though, Andy. It was well worth looking thru again. It makes me want to wipe everything else out and grow every columbine I see. Such wonderful colors!!
Al, don't yell at me or I'll get confused and put on my right blinker and be going around some strangers block.
Hi, kobiskeeper! give him a nuzzle for me. what a sweet face! nice to see you here. any friend of Sarah's is welcome anytime :0)
gram
Welcome stevenfaux. Kobi looks very warm and relaxed in that picture.
Wow Andy!! Look at that greenhouse. I'd love to have one like that now. Someday. I'm set on it. Someday soon.
Al and Gram, your columbines look great. Al, I've been slowly collecting them, but only since I moved onto my own piece of earth in 2004. Here's a pic of my first columbine. Don't remember the name. Sorry!
Hello everyone.
I've been lurking a bit in this forum,
So I thought I'd drop in and say hello and Happy New Year to everyone.
As the subject is dogs at the moment ,
I hope I`m not out of step by posting this pic here ?
Jacks privileges end at the door.
So that’s where he likes to sit and watch.
He is sitting on the front veranda.

Hi Ginger - I get that sad look out of my dog all the time.
Harper - nice photo, what a blue. I envy your dog relaxing there.
Hi bigcityal
I think you are right.
Always trying to make us feel guilty.
Welcome, Ginger. Jack is a handsome boy.
Harper, does Shadow often play in the water? lol
Al, I forget your dog's name. ? . That's a good pic.
Andy P
Hey, Ginger, I just saw you in the other thread! Hiya. How ya doin? Welcome.
Andy, Shadow and I used to live where we had to go to a public dog run to get exercize. A section of it would fill with water after every good rain. Every chance Shadow could get, he'd head straight for the water. Now that we have a house, I have a kiddie pool for him 6 months out of the year. He LOVES it.
Harper
Hi Sofonisba
Yes I move around.
As it is raining and it is sunday morning,
I always enjoy the 'Daily Musings'
Whether from Bike sites or wherever I`m at.
Yeah, me too, I think.
Hi again, Ginger. Your Jack made me feel guilty half way 'round the world LOL. At least give him a biscuit.
Harper, Shadow looks like a black lamb :0) pretty dog.
Hey, Nancy, did you by any chance see the thread asking about gardens in Buffalo? someone from Indiana was asking about places to have a garden wedding in buffalo and I was hoping you might be more help than I was

Hi Nap - thanks
I thought your yard was small - look at that creek running through it - nice.
I spy Cornell
Oh, Al, you are right! (About Cornell, not about the creek!) What a memory you have!
Thanks for the link, gram. I did hop over and give a couple of suggestions.
thanks, Nancy. I knew you would have ideas. we don't get out much.
Gram, yup. Shadow is a little lamb. When I shear him, he looks like a horse for a brief moment. He's a 3 yr. old mini poodle.
Nancy, I love your pictures.
Harper
Hey, I got 2 catalogs from Van Bougondien today, both the retail and the wholesale catalogs. You don't think I've been buying too much do you?? (no, it couldn't be that) I can just see the wall in my foyer with the tubs of different kinds of bulbs. and maybe a small seed rack in the hallway. the sunroom is already full of plants, so I guess maybe it does kind of look like a nursery LOL
gram ~of gram's private nursery~
ps here's what's blooming today
Nancy - I'm not sure about those buffalobrides.
Jan - that VB catalog is nice to look at..........but man have you ever read watchdog on them ;(
gram, now I know WHY you don't get out much.....your garden has you chained down!
"Feed me! Water me! Mulch me! Pick my weeds! Is that a bug on me? Get it outta here! And while you're at it, fill the birdfeeder! Hey, get the camera over here! I'm lookin pretty good today! Now get back inside and water the orchids! "
Thank you, Harper! Do you spend much time in the Photo forum?
Al, buffalobrides are very similar to menashabrides, I hear. Only better looking.

Sarahskeeper
Thank you for that welcoming Pic. Very Nice.
Steven, Nice to meet Kobi's keeper! Welcome!
Nap, Nice pictures. And it is good to see newcomers joining us. We are about 1 week shy of the first anniversary of this forum. So many people have joined us.
Great pics everyone. I can't believe it's been a year Dave. I feel like I've known most of you for my entire life! Welcome newbies.
Dave, that makes it one year ago that I had my first 'deleted' post. Ah, those were the days.
Andy P
Nancy - I married an appletonbride don't worry.
Dave - this was the info I have on that
http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/573259/
of course I look at that list and wonder how GA could get their own forum, things have changed in that year and there's no way they could get their own forum nowadays.

Nancy, I don't go to the Photos forum much. I did, however, enter and vote in this year's photo contest. That was fun.
Even though I'm a newbie, Happy Anniversary everyone!
Harper
Al, I can't read anyway, so I'm just looking at the pretties ;0)
when I started hanging out here in the spring, I thought you guys HAD been together forever. I don't know about the other regional forums. some of them might be AS friendly, but none could possibly be friendlier or warmer.
Gram, X X X X X O O O O O s
