South Florida Blooms! \(^o^)/
Robert, srbower's flower and LL flowers look different to me. Srbower's flower has a lot more red/orange in the center, more white veining in the petal, and a more narrow petal shape with less overlap. Remember too that Sharon is in Texas, and LL is a local Florida cultivar; although, that isn't saying much because of active trading/selling, etc. They do look different to me though. Love your pics...
One thing about the LL Clare and i am glad you'll find out soon, is that it has alot of faces and maybe at certain times it can look like other plumies..
Pics are too hard to compare both plumies but his description of the smell led me to think they might be the same..
You could be right Clare maybe we can see more pics of that plumie..
It could be a LL as my Grandmother had many different Plumies in her yard and I ended up with only 3 cuttings. One is definately a classic white hawian variety and the other is definately an aztec gold type variety and the third is this medium pink. I have lots of other Plumerias that I have added to my collection over the years and I have some from my Dad and Uncle so you see it is somewhat of a family tradition to have Plumerias in our yards. I know what to refer to all the other varieties as even if the names aren't exact; then at least when I am around my Plumeria Assoc aqaintences then I don't sound uneducated (Ha, Ha). Some of them take it really seriously, but I'm just in it to enjoy the flowers :-)
~Sharon
*here's another picture of the pink. It's petals fade with time; the lightest flower is about 2 days on the flouresce and about to fall off, it is almost white by then.
Nice pictures, Sharon! Thanks for sharing them:-) It is nice to meet you! It looks like you have a lovely family and yard.
Wow Sharon looks like you live in Florida lol..
That backdrop looks like a typical Florida Yard..
Great shots thanks for sharing...
I see a Aztec Gold off to the left in other pic...

Great pictures, Robert. Thanks for sharing them. I would have loved to be in Thailand for the festival, but I wouldn't want those bubbles on me! Your seedling #9 is beautiful, and I love that six-petalled 'Dane' flower.
Yes, agree with Clare - beautiful pics, Robert!!! Love those deeper colors!! Looking forward to some inflos with our warmer weather finally making its arrival in VA!!
Awesome shots man!
By any chance was Coca~Cola sponsoring the festival? ;p
I saved the Defel for my desktop.
Thats stunning bro.
...thanks friends!
Lol Mike you would think you see a Singha banner somewhere!
For me to run around in my tighty whities in soap Singha would be near!
;=O
Iopaka,
I finally made time to look at all the photos in your flikr page and WOW!!! Time well spent! I am feeling so good right now; I want to run out and buy up many more varieties this very instant. I know if I did my husband would be very cross; but looking at all those beauties makes me not even care that I have to dig them up and move them to the garage every winter. It was quite intoxicating to see all those colors and interesting varieties. I guess I need to move to Florida. I have a girlfriend in Orlando and work connections in Tampa. Maybe one of these days I will get to have a collection ( at least a little) like yours.
Thanks Chantell..
srbowers66 thanks and glad you like my flickr page..

Lol Mike love the background bud..
Singha is best served ice cold and you may leave them in the freezer longer then most beers..
The taste is much different if served cool so ice cold it tastes great IMHO!
The beer tends to not freeze all the way because of the high alcohol content..
Got a few dmails asking why i don't post pics anymore..
Daves old style forum doesn't really allow to showcase pics so i move my stuff to flickr..
Anyways here some pics just click on the top left "All Sizes" to get bigger pics.
