Texas Roundup - 4/29/06 HEAD COUNT!

We need a head count before we can get the pavilion reserved and hotel group rate setup. Also, I want to cater a meal for the late afternoon/early evening.

So, who's coming? Let's get a head count and then proceed. Ya'll please feel free to email people or post this in other threads to help spread the word.

Dave, you can count on us Frostweed and Frank my husband for April 29th, we will not spend the night. Looking forward to it.

I will be there, and have talked this up with a lot of locals who are VERY INTERESTED. How about a 15$ charge for non-members. (Applied of course to their Dave's Garden membership.) At least one of those locals has now joined Dave's. My better half will also be there, so that makes 2.

Well, I don't know if I feel right about charging non-subscribers to come to the roundup. If there'll be less than 10 of them, I say come on.

They might need to chip in for food, though. :)

Just (1) one here, coming on Friday afternoon and staying the night, leaving Sat. evening.
* Planning on getting a room.
* Will happily chip in on rental or toward the food.

2 adults.........3 adorable pups (13 lbs. and under).

There will be two of us. We will spend Saturday night in College Station and are also ready to chip in $ for pavilion rental, food, or whatever is needed. Just let me know!

I will be there, and my registered-but-not-as-yet-subscribed Austin sister (palomarosa) is coming with me. Hopefully I can also get my Brenham sister to come. So, at least two, maybe three, and we will be staying in Brenham.

I am planning on coming and bringing one guest. I would be happy to chip in w/ the rental. We plan on staying one night.

Hello Dave, I guess I omitted mentioning that we will happy to pay our share of the rental and food, I thought that was understood, but decided I should let you know, since everyone is mentioning it.

My husband David and I (Robin) will come for the day on Saturday. Is there a tentative agenda yet? Also, what are we supposed to bring? Food? Chairs?

Once we figure out how many people are going to attend, it will make it easier to decide what we'll do about food, and what we need people to bring. We'll have everything firmly in place, never fear :)

I am confident that you'll want to bring camping chairs, though :)

I am planning on coming if I dont have Sat School duty that day ( I will not know until after TAKS and who passes soooooo count me for now and I realllllllyyyyy hope to be there. I will just be there Sat - drive up on Sat and come home on Sat (long day bet it will be worth it!)

It can't hurt to bring some tables, either. If you're going to do any trading, it will give the plants a place to stay so we can use park tables for food.

I just joined and am absolutely thrilled about this roundup! I have so been wanting to get to know some people since I moved down here from Ohio back in August. I live in Bryan and attend TAMU, so if there is anything I can help with just say the word! And count me in!!

Go Aggies!!!! DD got bachelor and master degree there. Lot's of our money went there. I would love to come to the round up as an extra to visiting my daughter in Houston, but don't think DH will let me fly down for the weekend. Post many pictures, and I hope you all have a wonderful time. Lou

Mitch just reminded me about TAKS--I am 8th science; that's the last day, which is Friday--So count me for Sat but not Fri.

i am new to daves. what's a roundup exactly? can i just come for the day? i would be happy to chip in whatever i need to. how many people usually show up? is this just for DG'ers or do people in the area drop by? i could go on but would someone just give me a brief summary of what happens at one of these things and then i'll ask some intelligent questions if i need to.

I'll be bringing myself & my 2 girls, Mara (15) & Kayle (12). I'll be driving down Saturday morning (Mara has high school band banquet on Friday night) and staying Saturday night.
