Oh m'goodness!....I don't know whether to keep panting in anticipation or just go grab a paper bag and breathe deep breaths into it! The excitement is overwhelming!

nap: I see use the "best, dave" quite frequently. I do usually use it when it's needed, however. Particularly if I'm writing a difficult note that I want to make sure the person knows that I'm coming to them in a "right" attitude. I lower case my name to diminish myself. I dislike when people over-promote themselves... so in typical dave-fashion, I react way over in the opposite direction. :)

Erynne, yep. I get nervous with lots of things I put on the site. I always hope that everyone will love the changes I make, but there have been times in the past where I made some very unpopular changes. Often, the membership really surprises me.

Example: I thought that it was DG's death-knell when I dropped the big surprise bombshell that we were going to require PAID subscriptions for access to the forums. The surprise was mine, however, when hundreds of members subscribed during the first week, and continued to subscribe through the present day.

Other examples: I once opened the forums for non-subscribers to read. I thought folks would like it, but I was lynched. :-)

So, the good news is that I am quite human (as far as I know) and make mistakes. Yay!

Shoe: well, my schedule looks like this:

roll out of bed around 7:00am.

Morning chores and such-like. Breakfast around 8pm and then in the office by 8:30am.
