Well, I don't see anything different. LOL LOL

I did notice the Forum tab said Garden Talk for a bit, but now it's back to saying Fourm.

If you look to the north on the weather map on Tuesday morning, all you are going to see is pre-existing snow. So...our new banner maybe? Like North on the computer screen?

This is making me a nervous wreck! It's the excitement, ya know! Dave does it to me/us on purpose...I'm sitting here waiting for the other shoe to drop...er, wait, bad comparison...This SHOE will hang in there, waiting, waiting, waiting.

Shoe, you'd better 'toe' the line and be patient with Dave. I'm sure 'heel' let us know so we can keep 'instep' here on DG. Dave is going to make his special magic, 'sole' let's not sit here with our 'tongues' hanging out waiting. (That just about exhausts my shoe references, but not my Shoe references).

'Tripping' the light fantastic and doing the ol 'soft shoe'. Geez, we're liable to just 'flip-flop' all different directions! What wonderful 'solemates' we could all 'mold' into being ...

Hoping against all odds, this thread won't get the 'shaft' before anyone else can get their 'foot' in the door! May need to 'patent' this 'thread' for its originality.

My forums tab still says Garden Talk, and I even closed the browser and started over. This is driving me crazy! I'm gonna be in bad shape by Tuesday.

Sharon, my forums tab on the home page says Garden Talk, but once I get into a thread, then it says forums. I just noticed the difference this morning.

I'm keeping my eyes peeled for little changes that may be further clues. :)

OK Joan - now I'm really confused, because mine says "Garden Talk" no matter where I go. Very strange.

Make sure you shift-refresh to see the correct tabs. I'm changing them recently and you want to see the latest.

Tuesday morning a new tab will appear at the top.

Why, I was just taking a walk down Nostalgia Lane (and trying to change the subject so I don't appear to be rubbing anyone's nose in the fact I know something you don't. Because that's impolite.)

Ahem. Where was I??? Oh yes....

Actually I still like Fresca - it's just hard to find these days. They came out with some new flavors that are rather icky. So I always look closely at the bottle before I buy it.

Tab I can live without for the rest of my life. It always tasted a little flat (or maybe salty, I dunno.)

RC's....well, we live 20 miles from the town that has an annual RC Cola and Moonpie festival each June, so I can get an RC fix whenever I want ;o)

Moonpies - yummy. Especially the chocolate ones. My advice is to skip the banana unless you like that artificial banana flavor, and those orange marshmallow "peanuts" are better if that's what you're after. And those always struck me as quite odd. They're ORANGE colored, PEANUT shaped and BANANA flavored. Some things just can't be explained.

But if we're going for southern gooey-ness you just can't beat a Goo-Goo Cluster. Now THERE's a confection to behold.

I could settle for a Bing candybar, and I know a convenience store 6 miles away that has those if I could just talk DH into going after one. :)

I don't know. DH said he won't go after a candybar. :( I should have thought of something necessary that we need and then ask him to pick up the candybar too, as long as he was going anyway. LOL

Goo Goos can be had all over the South...infact, you can buy a 6 pack at the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday nights.

Maybe they do still sell them here, and I just haven't been looking for them. I'm gonna start though.

Fresca was a good one during hot weather as I remember.

We didn't have goo-goos in California as far as I remember, but it could predate me, although not likely....lol.

ahhh.....to wax nostalgic in the moment of cataclysmic change.....I wonder if organisms about to evolve get misty about the good ol' days right before becoming something new? Darwin was indeed right about survival of the fittest Terry.

Weird, I had a streatched out forums tab, so I "tabbed and refreshed" and got Garden Talk.

Rarely see a Goo Goo Cluster around here but have tons of Fresca. Anybody need an emergency shipment? (no icky flavors ~ ack!)

Edited to add: Doesn't every diet need a certain amount of 'bad candy', like Circus Peanuts?

Diet?!? That's a four-letter word not used in MY house! I was merely referring any good, healthy diet needs some of those....uh... low-brow goodies. ;)

Goo Goo Clusters! OMG! They sell them at Econofoods (a local grocery store) 3 boxes for $1.00 and there are 4 clusters to a box. For those that can't add (lol not naming names) that is 12 for a buck. Caramel or Marshmallow!

Man, now I'm gonna have to go back to the store, lol.
