Okay now, reaaaallllly strange!

I'm noticing a font here or there that looks funny. It will be the title of a post on one page or just a word on another page. Well, I was just sitting here looking at something in the Gen Disc forum and notice on the top tabs the FORUM tab looked funny. I clicked the HOME tab to see if it did anything to the FORUM tab and when I did, the FORUM tab actually changed to GARDEN TALK! I clicked this forum to come here and now FORUM is back to FORUM. What on earth is going on? Have I finally snapped?? LOL

Ha! I am not nuts! Proof!

Hi Chele, I have the same "problem" as you have. It says Garden Talk instead of Forums. strange!!

Yep, I saw it too. (Take heart - even if you're seeing things, you're not alone ;o)

And the "Forums" tab font looks strange when it shows up. A quirk for Dave to hunt down and fix.

I thought I was going crazy!! My forums tab says garden talk, too, but it still works.

I noticed that last night, but I thought it was nice actually, lol. I like it named "GardenTalk".

I'm guessing this bug didn't pop out of the blue; I think Dave is up to something. :P BTW, the only reason the font looks odd is because the image with the text is 60 pixels wide, but is being stretched to 81 pixels wide (the width of the "GardenTalk" tab). Therefore the text is 1.35 times wider than it should be.

EDIT: Ok, now I see the "GardenTalk" as the tab when I'm in the forum too (cache issue I guess), but on this tab, the text in one pixel off-center! AHH! I can't stand it!!! :P

PSS - Anyone seeing it still say "FORUMS" all stretched out is looking at a cached image. It'll fix itself in 24 hours, or you can fix it now by doing a Shift-Refresh.

I'm mostly just kidding around but the text within this image ( http://davesgarden.com/images/tabs/forums-on.gif ) does seem to be one pixel to the right of the center (hmm, you don't think I could be a perfectionist or anything do ya?).

I come from a family of late-diners. (Obviously - it's why they can post things while I'm eating ;o)

I married a man whose family considers "dinner" to be something one partakes of before 5:30. Bless his heart, he doesn't complain, but I *try* to meet him halfway, and serve dinner sometime before 7.

Well, between dh's weird work hours and my DG obsession, dinner hours are between 430 and 9pm. Sometimes later in the summer, lmbo.
