When you get your Christmas tree up, post pictures!

It really isn't my fault. All these stories about spiders and dreamcatchers seems to have warped my mind this year! Then there was the problem of where to put a tree because I had moved my big plants into the "front parlor" for the winter cause they take up to much room in the greenhouse. Then the gnomes moved in and Dody, the young one, suggested using my plants instead of killing another tree - so, I went a little crazy! Johann, Johanna and Dody have been so helpful!

This sorta shows the "tree". It is hard to get a good picture with the morning light behind it to confuse the flash. The next pic is a little better lighted but this one shows a little more detail.

gabagoo, love all your pictures, even the healess ones, LOL. i esp like the birds. my kids have lots of stuffed animal birds, and i started putting them on the tree. someone here said, what better to put in a tree than birds,a nd that is what i told them when they objected!

That's cool -- the dreamcatcher really sets it all off. I didn't know you had a cabin. Howie and I would love one some day.

DH built this before we were married, but sometimes it seems like he "knew" that *I* would be here someday, even though he didn't know me then. - I love it! It so suits my style, and so does he!.

Here's one of mine - I have two small table top trees as I don't really have room for a full size tree.

The angel is actually made of wheat. The artist who makes it had this design adorning one of the White House Christmas trees!

Here's Howie with the latest....He took his "work tree" home since he's now off on medical leave, and today he put it and strings of lights in our van. They run off an inverter. What a fun time we had tonight as people smiled and pointed at the van. :)

Viloet-Treasure I like trees decorated in blue, yours is very pretty.

I must say the van was a hit. We had so much fun last night. Our friends cracked up when they seen that I had decked the van.

Howie-does your wife sing 'You Light up my Life' while you guys are sitting in there??? lol!! I couldn't think of any Christmas songs that were appropriate for that sentiment. Can anyone else?

We went through drive-thru's for coffee and chili, and the employees got a kick out of that tree, especially. Have tree, will travel!

The "magic van" is great! I've seen advertisements for small battery operated trees that you could stick onto a car window, but I don't think I've ever seen it done is real life. Howie's project is better. (Did the lights make it harder to see to drive?)

Driving around looking at yard decorations in a van that's decorated... that's a great mind picture.... and that's a great smile on Howie Man's face. thanks for sharing it GW.

I finally got a picture of the outdoor tree that I can upload... have loved everybody's pics... No snow outdoors around my tree...

And here's my little half a tree. It's flat on the back side and with a trunk base that is also half a trunk... and at two feet tall fits right up against my desk.
PS.. and I'm not done decorating it yet. more ornaments have been found that fit the size tree.

Blooms, what keeps the ornaments and tinsel on your outdoor tree from blowing away?

they're just hung with regular ornaments hooks - some of which I did pinch closed.

Cute trees, Blooms! Kelli, the tree in the van is far enough back, it doesn't reflect on the windshield to obstruct vision. Howie didn't put lights around the windshield for that reason (I'd asked him why not, LOL!).

Aaah Tazzy her whole house is done up gorgeous. Makes me remember back when my kids were little and the house would have trees all around the place.

My favorite Nativity - My mom made this in 1981 and sent it to me ( my first Christmas away from family). All the figures are cornshuck and it all goes into the box for storage.
