When you get your Christmas tree up, post pictures!

Like you Scooby, they're my treasures and what I would rescue second in a fire or flood...first would be my animals :)
Here are a few of the handmade ornaments. One has a Chickadee embroidered on it. I have a few Chickadees on the tree because I adore those little birds.

and one that is new to the tree this year(we got it as a gift last christmas) our whole family...

Oh, wow! I LOVE that building ornament!! The glass ornament is gorgeous too. The glass ornaments always look so beautiful but I'm far too clumsy to have many of those :((
Here's another Chickadee and a sweet little reindeer.

the snowmen in the last pic have our first names on them...but you cant see them......here is one of a few random ornaments.

This is the last one before I trot off to bed....my German Santa, he was bought from somewhere in the Black Forest.

Scooby, I love your ornaments. Your tree is a lot like mine...lots of treasures and favourite ornaments. Very pretty. Thanks for sharing.

OH, I *love* the bird ornaments! Chickadees are probably my favorite, too. And what is more natural in a tree than birds? :)

Are you tryin' to say that pickles in a tree aren't natural? ROTFLOL!! ;-)

Here is my favorite present (Chili) under our retro aluminum tree we found at an antique mall last year - complete with the revolving lights and musical turning tree stand! My mother is horrified - oh well :-) We love it. This is a pic from last year.

It doesn't do it justice but here it is. It sparkles on the ceiling in the sunlight and turns catching all the lights in the evening.

ok, here is our tree after the cat and dog have had their fun.......
notice that most of the ornaments have already been tossed down by the cat to the waiting puppy who chewed them up and spit them out......

I love your tree, BlueKat. It's so distinctive, especially with that sweet orange ornament under it.

Pebble, yours is the best of all. I only wish you had posted pictures of the cat and puppy adding their touches to it.

well. as luck would have it, I dont have a picture of the culprits in action, they are very sneaky.....when i come anywhere near the tree, they pretend that they are angels, while hiding stuff in their mouths....

pebble..that is the funniest thing I have seen tonight!

Thanks to everyone for showing their trees. Everyone can see the outdoor decorations but the trees are something you don't get to see, sorta personal.

I call this My Katrina tree... could not manage to do a big tree...Katrina got me down....too much garden clean up to do and too small a space with the addition of this computer...It is in my tree space but what is a Maw Maw to do.... I crocheted these balls years ago....frostweed would like to do this.....shirleyt

Dont have my tree up yet, its comming fresh out of the forest tomorrow. But this star I put up the first Advent sunday each year. its a 20 year old paper star.

Advent wreath finally up and lit for the four Sundays. This is one of three that I put up each year. I put the fresh cedar around it today, but will probably have to replace it at least once before Jan 6th, when I take it all down. (closer view of Nativity in next post.

This is a Nativity puzzle I made 2 years ago - all the figures fit into the stable frame in a certain pattern. It is all made from a single piece of cedar from my own property.

I should have the tree finished tomorrow, so will post it then - warning - its a little "different" from the norm!!
