Two very nice complete strangers wanted their picture posted on Dave's.
Maas Nursery tour.
I thought about y'all ALL day. day was perfect for this outing. what a nice looking bunch of DGers!
You should have been there. Much laughter was heard.
Then good food was enjoyed.
Great time.
Yeah, I guess I need to learn how to place a vine in the ground.
Trois, that is a super fantastic camera. Gotta, gotta have one. Since mine is definitely antique, a new one should be in the works. Can you advertise here as to the specifics about it?
Thanks, Carol
What a divine setting... I couldnt wait for you guys to get back...hmmm ...miss meeting mr Maas too! Now I can put a face on Sandy or is it Cindy (IloveJesus)Shelia too bad you are married...oh no! thats a good thing. :) maybe DH will takes us next time... but I understand .... even if circumstances were different I am afraid to drive that distance alone. what is the CTRU?
Sylvia
Shelia you got to tell me more about woodworking. I am always tempted to pick those stumps up on the side of the road.
Yeah, I guess I need to learn how to place a vine in the ground.
Flowerette...you are funny! lol
This camera I was using is a Fuji S5100. It has a 10x optical zoom and about 3 x digital zoom. I use a 512 MB XD memory which will take about 800 2 MP pictures, or in the max mode about 200 4 MP high def Chroma.
They sell for about $300.00
It is nice for the reach like on the wild kitties, and too tall flowers.

Sedrick, hee-hee-hee: But, this clay is like steel.
trois,
Thanks for the stats! Have you had it long? Cameras & puters seem to be obsolete before you get them home. But, I don't see how they could ever improve that one. The color and zoom are A+++.
Sedrick,
Oh, no, you can't pick stumps up along the roadsides in Texas. The last time I checked there is a TX statute which makes that against the law (lol). We have some property in the hillcountry. You can get all the stumps, rock or cedar that you can manage to gather up. Last time I was there, brought home a really neat cedar stump. They are fun to collect.
Carol
I have had it about 6 months. It is pretty much a clearance item now. Most people want a very small one, which is nice, but this one is light weight, just not small. There are many fine new cameras out there. Size should not be the only consideration.
trois
Great pictures, Trois! Looks like you guys had another wonderful get together. Wish I had been there. :-)
p.s. Tell Ms. Barbara that I like her hair cut!
Well, Trunnels, we wish you had been here also. It was a great time.
Just a lot of fun.

Kipper, I am glad you ot a picture of Billy, Sunnytx DH. Every time I tried I got a picture of his back.
I see you also got a pic of the cobbler gobbler.
I am still thinking about how to introduce that new forum. I may need help.
We are waiting for others to post their pictures.
trois
Well, Trois, since Kipper caught you with a fork in your hand I'm not sure if the cobbler gobbler is you or that cutie in Kipper's picture #7.
Great pictures, Kipper!
It could be both.
trois, I don't remember anyone else having a camera other than flowerette and I remember her saying that she wasn't sure how to post images. I know that her friend, Judy can help her (computer savy).
Thanks trunnels. Maybe someday I'll reach trois's status with a digital. Give me my Canon F1 or my Leica M4P and I can rock.
Yes, troise and "little bit" did dent the cobbler. ;o)
Trois, I wish I had been there too, those are wonderful pictures.
Nice to see the faces we know and meet new ones.
Josephine.
We would have enjoyed your company, Josephine. We did have a good time and even though it turned a little hot by the end, was a really nice day.
