OK that's the 3 of them. Trois, Sandy and Catbird. Sorry Sylvia, I spent a good 2 to 3 hours grinding out the bowl in it this past week end. With a 5/8th spade bit, my chainsaw and alot of sawdust, that the bowl I got. Just trying to think of what to paint the inside with so as not to rob the potting soil of nitrigen.
Kipper, try a heavy coat of clear acrylic finish. That way your wood would still look natural, and it would slow the rotting process. When I crafted, I coated my wood items with it and could wash them off if they got dusty, etc. and the water beaded up. HD & WM had the spray back then for about $1 a can.
Sylvia, if I was single, you and I could hop in my car and go to the swap, but my DH just wouldn't understand my wanting to make a trip that far right now. Hope the rest of you have a great time and hope I can meet more of you guys at the CTRU. I do hope to make a one day trip there. TAKE PICTURES PLEASE.
