Sounds like a great idea to me. Help is always welcomed in my garden. Which weekend did you want to come over and help out? LoL j/k
Looking forward to this new forum!
Florida Forum
I guess I could be part of it but I don't have a whole lot to offer. I mostly just sell tools, weather equipment, etc. to wholesale growers and gardeners but I must admit I don't do much gardening myself. Kind of like the shoemakers daughter thing. In any case if any of your have specific questions about weather type related stuff just give me a holler
James
Thanks to email from Budgielover I discovered this thread! Man, I have not been here in ages - every spare moment I'm in the garden!!!
Count me IN!

Man!!!!!
I am amazed at all the "new" faces we are seeing here!!!! I look at membership dates and find many have been around for a long time.
Either yall have been too quiet, or I have been too mouthy! Don't answer that.
So glad to see all of you here supporting our new Florida Gardening Forum.
Thanks,
Molly
Please count me in.
Thanks.
PSST... Dave created the new Florida Gardening forum two days ago!
It's here: http://davesgarden.com/forums/f/region_fl/
Yes, a Florida forum is going to be great!
Alan
Hello, well thanks to all the rain the bugs, creepy things and spiders have found me plants. I have a Molly leaf cutter on me Cannas. Spiders on everything. Rust, blackspot and a few dieing smaller brugs. So any suggestions besides getting struck by lightening while I spray? I guess I will just get in my canoe and cut it all back. I had to severely cut back Blaze the climbing rose bush, I cried, even tho I know it will come back. I have managed to save the tea roses and of course the cracker rose. Daturas are soo soo and my Hibiscus liners are struggling. Out of 5 I may have two that make it thru the swampy land they are sitting in. I sure hope that we get no tropical storms or hurricanes as we have got to dry out. Marilynne in Lakeland-- Swampland Fl.
Hey Marilyn, give this a thread name and post it over here. It's always a little confusing when the Forum first gets started.

Yesssssssssssssssssss!
Thanks. Absolutely...count me in! I'm in DeLand, in West Volusia County, about 35 minutes west of Daytona Beach and the famous Speedway. Anyone who wants someplace to stay (my guest room) is welcome any time. My husband, our dog, and I would love to have you.
All I ask in return (that's a big ALL) is for someone to help me weed my weed garden. That's right, all I have these days is a huge weed garden. I'm not kidding you guys. With all the rain we've been getting, the weeds are way out of hand! Who wants to help? Just give me a shout... Speak up, I don't hear anyone... Anybody out there... Oh, come on.... Somebody... Anybody... Help... I'm being strangled by all these weeds... This isn't a joke you guys...
You'll all feel terrible tomorrow morning when you're watching the news and you see a story about a woman in Central Florida who was found strangled in her yard with her garden gloves on, lying in the middle of a weed garden. No fingerprints were found, just spots of chlorophyll and slugs. Not a funny sight, is it? So, have you reconsidered?
LOL Deedeeb! Follow us on over here and read up on the "Florida Gardening" Forum. We need people who can actually spell chlorophyll. *grin*

PSST... budgielover? If you edit your very first post to add the link to your new Forum, folks might find their way over a little easier. ;)
Not that I mind all that much that the Floridians continue to hog this one... lolol
I would be interested also.
Thanks Tutti.
Been busy sending invite messages and didn't even think about it.
Jan...
Looks like all 4900 are in agreement.
Tim.
YES, absolutely!!
Count me in for having a Florida forum. Our transitional zone from temperate to subtropical, and humidity makes us different from pretty much any other region of the country.
.....Alan.
