Hi, Jianhua! Great to see a new photo of you. Your posts always make me smile. Your joy and love for God and His creation sings. :) And your English really has gotten better!
DG T-shirts, Part III
Hi, Gardenwife,
As a matter of fact, this new photo was shot (by a borrowed camera) at the invitation of you. For the time being I have no C. digital, otherwise a whole school of collected bloom pictures would have been pasted in here.
Ok, I'm jealous, everybody wearing Dave's T Shirts but me, so I finally broke down and placed my order.
Dave, the check's in the mail.
Happy Gardening all.
DougC
Yay Doug! I really like mine.. I may have to get another because I wear it every time it's clean.. (or just steal the one I bought for DH..muahaahaaaaa)
I received mine and they are great... I think I may need to order more as my kids want mine... lol... Fortunately they are larger than I am... so they have to wait til theirs comes in... ha ha... s
Much as I'd like to, I'm not going to wear mine for gardening. I am a messy gardener and I don't want to ruin my treasure!
Hmm, thought I might get mine today. I got my email on Monday that the check was received. :( Did not get them...and no email yet they've been sent. Patience. :)
Well, the BassetDaughter loves hers and wears it to school regularly. She tells everyone about this site! Of course, upon opening the package, the wonderful hubby asked..."where's mine?"
Needless to say, I shall place another order...

Does anyone remember where the measurements
are to gauge the sizes of the t-shirts?
I don't recall what thread.I have to order one or two.
Thanks,Jody

Thanks,Jody
here is a copy of Gardenwife's post stating the sizes:
For my own reference as well as others just reading this thread, here are the measurements Trish gave:
~~~
Here are the shirt measurements. They are taken side seam to side seam, chest. Also is the length, from neck to hem. Listed as chest x length.
Youth M: 17 1/2 x 18
Youth L: 18 1/2 x 21
Small: 19x24
Medium: 21x26
Large: 22 1/2 x 27
XL 25x28
XXL 27x28
XXXL 30x29
Dave is wearing a Large in the picture.
The shirts are 90% preshrunk cotton and 10% poly. I've washed and dried them on high heat, and it did not shrink.
Yeah, I need another one, too. Maybe next month whem my check comes in...
I ordered mine a couple of days ago, and I was really disapointed that the local mail isn't as quick as email! I want my shirt NOW!! :P
Unfortunately, I live in an area where even UPS Next Day Air takes two days! Oh, well. They should come in a day or so. I look forward to wearing the newest in fashionable gardening attire.
Put my vote down for the .com on the next shirts. I'm wearing my new teeshirts everywhere, and DH wears his once in awhile. :)
The problem I'm having is that my DH's name is also Dave, so people think MY gardens are his and he's marketing them? no...no...no...no... And these are the comments from the people that know us.
If I was in line at Walmart, the lady behind me probably notices the shirt, but without a .com, she doesn't know she can go home, log on, and become one of us unless she asks. Most people don't ask.
I should have ordered a few more too, but its getting so hot here now, I wish Dave could see about offering tank tops tops, what does everybody think about tank tops?
DougC
I am happy without the .com
Ditto !
Without the .com it inspires comversation ............... FAQ I get ........ where is Dave's Garden ?
Jianhua,,, you look good in that picture and glad you like the DG T-Shirt... enjoy it.
Take Care~
And I am thinking of more about the T-shirt. Should Dave make an inovation -- add '.com' or '2005/2006...' or some inspiring garden motto on it? After all, this is kind of cultural shirt. It should fully show its characterastics.
Redrose, thanks .You see me growing up in DG these years. And your overpraise makes me good.
I think the .com idea may be a good one for a future batch....
I received my shirts today in the mail, and promptly put one on! It fits perfectly, and I love it! Thanks Dave!!!
Lori
Jazzpumpkin-Thanks a bunch.Jody
You are welcome Jody :)
I love mine, I ordered more the other day afraid they would sell out and I am sure it will be along time before they offer shirts again. If you haven't got your's you better before they sell out.
What sizes are left??
Inquiring minds..............lol
sheran,
I'm with you on the tanks!!!!!
Jody
Tanks sound much more like what a gardener would "prefer" to wear when out there. I like that idea too. I haven't even ordered mine yet from this one.
I would love some tanks too. At least 3.
I'd take some women's tank top and really liked the women's style T-Shirts that Sheran posted.
Dave, how about updating your initial post in this thread with the T-shirt sizes that are still available? "Plenty" might not be so plentiful for folks on their second or even third order (the latter of which I'm considering). :)
Thanks!
Donna
Wow! That was fast!
I ordered 3 shirts on Friday and they are here already. I got 2- size small and 1- size child large. They all fit me great. As mentioned before, the material is fabulously soft. They are really nice and I look forward to wearing them. Thanks so much!
I'd also love to see ".com" on future shirts. That is a great idea.
And as far as the tanks, puhleeeeaaase!! At home I only wear tanks when it's warm and would really love to order a few.
Thanks again for the great T-shirts and the super-quick shipping!
Goodness! Tory has grown a bunch~! Jo
Yes she has Jo, going in to 1st grade in the fall. 7 years old. and she's getting tall!
Wow! She's growing up, Kathy! And she's the spittin' image of her Mom!
Two blessings wearing Daves Garden shirts!
:) Thanks Shoe. Yea, she's the spitfire of her Mom as well. LOL
What a lovely girl! And also a twice bliss.
Kids are often metaphored flowers, true.
About the 'tank', yesterday I asked Ethan the Canadian teacher in our scool. He describled to me it is like this and this. And at alst I knew what it is like. hehehe My wife likes to wear tanktops.
Jianhua, it's a strange term for an article of clothing, isn't it? A tank top sounds very formidable (like an army tank!) when it's actually a pretty delicate piece of clothing. The name is derived from the term "tank suit" for a one-piece bathing suit with straps. Swimming pools used to be referred to as swimming tanks. Some call tank tops sleeveless pullovers.
I know that monster with a long pistil, but for this tank it is the first time I come across.
Gardenwife, thank you for the tank teaching.
Now I completely see.
