DG T-shirts, Part III

The T shirt orders have slowed, so now is a good time for me to give the membership an update on what sizes of shirts we have available:

We are completely sold out of 3XL size.

We have 8 size small left.

We have 5 Child Large left.

We have 2 child medium left.

We still have PLENTY Medium, Large, XL and XXL.

Got mine today, love it, I got the size small and it fits just great.

Just wanted to say thanks again, Dave, for my T-shirt. Although my medium was too big, I enjoyed it immensely this week-end while at the beach. It made a wonderful cover-up.

Pearland, TX(Zone 9a)

Dave,

Received my shirts and they are washed and ready to get some good old Houston black gumbo embedded in them. We are going to Salado, Tx. this weekend for a car club meeting (MG) and I plan to wear my shirt while I am shopping there. My husband thought they were great! If he is very good, I might let him wear one:)).

Thanks, Pam

McKinney, TX(Zone 8a)

Got mine Wednesday. The Child's Large actually fits me perfectly (glad I waited for the measurements). Thanks for getting them out to me quickly after the mix up. I will be wearing it to the Texoma roundup next weekend!

I got mine while I was out of town. Thank you, it's great! Mary Ev.

I want to thank my generous benefactor for this terrific shirt that was waiting here when I returned from NC.
It is a great fit and I'll model when I'm not so tuckered out.
Thanks Dave for your garden and the shirts. Thank you, Sweet DGer, for mine.

Jazz, it that "the family that DG's together, stays together" ? Nice shot!

Crossville, TN

Jazz...what a handsome family....psst...I see your hand pulling back DH's shirt to show off his good "abs". LOL Ya'll look great! Jo

Fredericksburg, TX(Zone 8a)

Dave, the shirts are a great idea, but how about a bumper sticker? That way we can still advertise for DG when our shirts are in the laundry.

Springfield, OH(Zone 5b)

Thanks Darius, .. lol Roadrunner.. He gets those from being my "yardboy" (actually I wasn't showing him off but holding on for dear life after I ran back into the picture after attempting the timer function for the third time!!)

At the risk of getting slapped, my hubby who is a puter person, questioned why the shirts do not say "davesgarden.com' anywhere on them? I told him so people would ask. LOL

We talked about the URL before...

I left the URL out since the name is so unique, plus somehow I thought the URL would turn it into something less than cute... Maybe I will do that next time, however, but I don't see it as a huge problem not having it.

I like it just the way it is

I've thought about the URL being on it...I was thinking it would be good...then I thought...No...it makes it look like a "freebie" you get for showing up for something. But I would wear it either way. Jo

Hope Valley, RI(Zone 6b)

Yeah... got my package today. I love it.

Lenexa, KS(Zone 6a)

I vote no ".com" in the future versions. I like being able to explain my favorite virtual garden spot.

No. San Diego Co., CA(Zone 10b)

Now that I think about it, I agree also. Besides, anyone who is a web surfer will know how to find it even if they don't ask.

Mirpur (A.K), Pakistan(Zone 9b)

Hey....folks... look here, who come in DG today... in my T-shirt.

Thank you Dave and Garden angles.

What a Cutie! With you to guide him I am sure he will appreciate plants.

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

Oh, fabulous picture of Zulqarnain! What a *serious* expression! Thanks for sharing him with us! :-)

I don't think there's any doubt he'll pick up your fascination with plants & gardening.... kids learn by imitating, right? (of course, sometimes they imitate or repeat things we wish they hadn't noticed, LOL)

Jazzpunkin, I loved the photo of you & your family too! Fun to think that the next generation of gardeners can also be on-line and in touch with other gardening enthusiasts across the country and around the world!

BTW, my vote would also be for not having the URL on the shirt. It's more fun explaining that Dave's is a virtual Garden!

I received my TShirts in the mail yesterday and I love them! Even my DH loves his, and was wearing it when he came to pick me up afer work. Good colour, and I love the DG designs. I also would not like to see davesgarden.com on future versions.

This thread is so much fun. Great to see your son again, Gumlla - he's getting so big! Paulgrow, neat to see you in the paper there, too!

Mysore, India(Zone 10a)

Paul, nice to see you in newsprint too!

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Too cool, Paulgrow! Gumlla, your son is beautiful - even when he looks so terribly serious!
