The new Banner is STUNNING :)

Mike,

It's pretty boring stuff, actually. People needing assisting using the site are in the helpdesk (nothing interesting there).

In the admin forums, we discuss exciting things like changing usernames for people, managing PlantScout companies, etc. Not very exciting. :)

Awwwww, Dave has spoiled the illusion for everyone....but he's right. It's pretty mundane stuff. Lots of

"I want to change my username from ABC to XYZ...."

"Please update our Watchdog entry with this new phone number and area code.."

"I've forgotten my password, can you please send it to me?"

"Help, I can't sign up"

and the ever-popular

"Where can I buy [fill in the blank] plant?"

Or in the PF helpdesk

"This is a duplicate entry..."

"I think this plant's real name is [fill in the blank]..."

and more "Where can I buy [fill in the blank] plant?" questions.

Off topic, but I love the PlantScout for that where can I buy [blank] plant question!

Dave & Paul, thank you so much for the new banner. Thank you so much for straightening out DG.. :) Now I can sleep...LOL. Iike the Dave's Garden and the flowers to the left of the banner. It would look strange without it so I hope you don't change them. Everything looks wonderful. :) Kathy

sylvi74, I hope so! That has been a VERY frequent question over the years, and one of the things that prompted us to create PlantScout. It has made answering that question a little easier on us, and hopefully led to some sales for our participating vendors.

Well I personally placed about 75% of this year's orders using the combined input of DG, the watchdog, and plantscout. Only about 25% of my orders are from people I ordered from last year. My garden and I thank you!

Very nice! Love the colors.

Looks really great. Thanks to all!

The new banner is spot-on, just gorgeous. Great job!

Glad you were able to answer the "find as you type" question - I've not been able to get one DG very well today, so I'm a bit behind here! The same thing happens to me on occasion with Firefox. Usually closing it down and re-opening will fix it. Sometimes it's because I've inadvertantly hit tab a time or two and am no longer in a text box, so Firefox assumes I'm looking for text.

I love the new banner! It's quite beautiful, eye-catching!
