Secret Santa Anyone?

It was me!! I got it on Thursday and what a GIFT IT WAS!!

OK -- Sierrawoman -- did Santa tell you how scaley my hands are of late?? Between the diapers and dishes and constant washing of hands for this newborn, my hands are a sad sight -- thanks for the hand balm, the lip balm and the nice smelling soap. I also love the candle holder you sent -- such a classy gift and the hydranga smelling candles are just perfect. What perfect gifts to relax this crazed Mom! THANKS SO MUCH!!

Don't beat yourself up over this. You tried to do a good thing and it is not your fault that our postal systems (boy am I glad it is not just the Canadian system!!!) are not exactly perfect.
Don't let this get to you - too many good things have come from your work to let a few little misdisresions get in the way.

Thank you so much for the beautiful gifts! We just got out tree today, so the ornament will earn a special spot when we decorate it tonight! The cinnamon broom is wonderful and smells SO good. It reminds me of my Grandma's kitchen when I was a girl. :-)
I am a bubble bath freak, and I have honestly been wanting to get me some "supplies", just never think I should spend the extra money, so thank you for that! I can't wait to use it all! But mostly, thank you so much for the seeds. It was really touching that you sent me the natives that I love! I will have a whole new garden now in a special place in my yard.
Also, thank you and Kidneyguy for helping to figure out the confusing situation I got myself in with the exchanges---have either of you ever considered a job in the detective field??!

Sometimes words of thanks just are not enough! I received the most wonderful box today from butterflygal. Like I said, Tammy, THANK YOU just won't cover it! Not only did she send gifts for me (a cute little table fountain, picture frames, and the sweetest bear door hanger-with bells even!), she included stuffed animals, stockings and gifts for all five of my girls. I think Tammy just might BE Santa! :) She even sent the batteries for the fountain! Oh, and let's not forget the candy! She also sent homeade soaps that her daughter made. My girls can't wait to sneak off with those. :)

Once again, I am amazed at the generosity and kindness shown by a sister DG'er (couldn't say fellow, LOL).

Michele, you put a BIG smile on my face too :) I'm glad you got it today since it was late going out.

I couldn't let kids go without a little something ... I know how they love surprises, as you can see I am a kid at heart!

I'm glad I got all the girls names right, guess it's cause someone mentioned that they were sneaking around trying to find out about their recipient, that gave me the idea ... hehehe

That is the sweetest little fountain!! May I ask where you got it?? It would make such a great gift for friends and members..and one for me, too!

Morph, my DD made turtles, frogs, and hearts for Michele and her DD's, with Camomile, vanilla and I don't remember the other scents. I know she has herbs to add for the scrub type soaps. When they are ready to use, she put's them in satin bags with a tag of her future business name :) She just got some new molds, Angels and daisy's. I'll get her to take some pics and get some more info on them for you.

Sierra, I found the fountain at Kirkland's. After DD helped pick it out she wanted to take off with it, so I had to go back and get her one and sneak it under the tree ... lol

I just received the greatest box of goodies!! Dough sent me a beautiful butterfly windchimes (how he knew I LOVED chimes is beyond me) A terrific little book about medicinal plants and allium and some other bulb that I can't remember right now;). Great gift choosing Doug!! Thanks so very much!!!!

Some of us got this swap confused with the oranament and craft swaps which caused minor headaches which is to be expected with so much going on at daves. The worst thing is.....Kidneyguy sent a gift to ViolinAnnie and the package was sent back to her, empty. I will be sending Violin Annie another gift..Annie, you have mail.


I sent Kidneyguy a gift and she has never received it. She knows it was me and I will be sending her a online gift certificate from a plant nursery.

I think this takes care of everyone, I will double check tomorrow when I am awake, its 12:30 and I just got home from work!

Santa arrived at my house yesterday with a gift from bamasharon.I think he took the long route and stopped for milk and cookies many times.
Thank you so much Sharon. Your ornament is already on our feather tree and we will be using the 2 travel mugs tomorrow when we leave to set up for a show. I had asked Santa for a new travel mug for my stocking. The Herb Garden kit is wonderful. My DH has started reading the book and making notes about what we need to get it started. You are very kind and generous.
I feel very badly about the Grinch striking my gift for ViolinAnnie. I hope he/she enjoys what was inside the package. Do you want me to send off a package to ViolinAnnie knowing it will not get there before Christmas? I will gladly do so.

thank you for all your time in hostessing this swap. i can certainly see how easy it could be to mix up your swaps. i had to write them down and refer to them a lot to remember what was traveling where and what i had made, purchased etc.... a big sigh of relief left me when they finally hit the mail. :)

Sue, I just opened my box and couldn't believe my eyes! You did too much. Each item in the box was something that I would have loved if I were shopping for myself. Thank you so much! I treasure each thing and will think of you whenever I look at them.

I'll try to take a picture and post it. My gift box was filled with two honey bee stick ornaments for flower pots, an adorable stone with a face to put in the garden, a Welcome sign with a copper butterfly with mesh wings, a box of note cards with pansies on them, and two country primitive Christmas trees with cut log bases made out of metal with jingle bells on the end of every branch and a wooden star on the top.

well i received my secret santa gift today and it really is a secret, as to whom it is from. there was an address but i don't recognize it. so thank you secret santa for my framed cresh scene and ornament gift set. also, she/he sent along seeds and a terra cotta pot to start an italian garden. i'll set those seeds aside and plant them come spring time. :) and the third gift i received is a jasmine aromatherapy gift set in a pink basket. there is a shower gel, a spray and a body lotion. it says that it is a "sensual experience". oooooh la la. so i'm going to take my shower and use my jasmine aromatherapy. i figure i'll try it out at night first, i don't want to go out into public and have all the men following me around like puppy dogs, so overtaken by sensual me.
oh my such trials and tribulations ladies. :) lol, i'm lucky if i get the puppy to follow me. :)
