Secret Santa Anyone?

Geez, I don't think my gift is going to be going out til some time next week, speaking of moving slow in the north.
My order has not been delivered yet. Actually, I just got notice last week that I ordered, wouldn't be coming because they ran out. So I ordered something else and it hasn't arrived yet. So please be patient. Someone out there hasn't been forgotten, somewhere out west, someone is waiting.....just hang on. Thanks ;~)

....when you consider that Thanksgiving just ended, I think we are in good shape, Gardenermaid! I actually wanted to wait until closer to Christmas to send my package out, but I sent it out today.

I received my gift from Kidneyguy (Dianne) and it is SO beautiful!! I would love to share it with you all, but I can't remember how to post a photo here! Can someone tell me how? Thank you!
Also, I just want to mention that my UPS lady said the package I mailed will be delivered on Thursday, December 4. Ho Ho Ho!!

You bet, we are almost neighbors! I just moved up here from Midland last year and have just begun to landscape our yard.There is so much to do it is almost overwhelming. I have all winter to plan though. (sigh) :-)

This is my gift from Kidneyguy (Dianne). It is one of her stained glass pieces she and her husband create. This one is "Araceae". I have it hung in my computer room in my window and it is beautiful! Today the sun was shinning through it and it was amazing. I also received a Christmas Bell that I am going to hang on our tree. It's clear, etched glass with a green "ringer" on the bottom. Thank you so much, again, Dianne!

That is the prettiest one I have ever saw. It is really special. I know you will enjoy it for a very long time. I would love to know how to do things like that.

I agree, eyes, there are some incredibly talented people here! I must confess, however, that I am not one of them, unless I am in the kitchen!

My gift went out over a week ago to the recipient. I have not heard whether or not it arrived and am wondering.

I was all set to mail mine out today when I got on here. Well, I have not been to this thread in a couple of days and it looks like my recipient already got a gift? I sent off an E to Sharon this morning because I am afraid someone else might have gotten skipped? Did some people agree to exchange more than once? Help this late bird get back on track!

Same here Badseed. I mailed my gift out 11 days ago and saw in an earlier post that she received a gift weeks ago from another state (not Ohio, where mine was mailed from). I didn't get a gift yet and don't know if noone got my name or the gift was not mailed yet.

Today was the cut off for mailing which I have obviously missed. I'm not real worried about me getting something, but concerned if some people won't get anything.

I'm not real worried about it either Badseed, but getting gifts is always fun. I want to know if my package I sent got to anyone of if it's missing?!

I'm still hoping for my gift :) I always try to be optimistic, but sometimes it gets hard...

Still waiting to hear from recipient -- sent it 11 days ago -- also waiting for my gift to arrive.

Okay everyone, Let's just remember it's better give then receive but dang it, I haven't gotten mine either. I know, I know, Santa's a very busy person and we have to practice patience and tollerence at this time of year, but Hey Santa, did ya forget about Me? Ho Ho Ho.
I'm sure that everyone is working hard to get their presents out on time as well as the post office is working as slow as they possibly can at this time of year. We just need to be a little more patient but, Hey Santa, What about Me. Hehehe.
I sent mine out on the 10th of November so I knew it would arrive in plenty of time for the holidays. The post office was working a little bit faster then.
Oh well......I'll just keep going to the postoffice, with hopes of Santa having made a stop, everyday and maybe it will come today.
Merry Christmas to all of you. If I could give all of you a gift it would be Peace on earth and an end to the war and all our families together this Holiday season.

Boy oh boy, I have gotten totally confused. I have already received my gift from Tortoisekeeper. Since it was hand made I confused it with the Secret Craft exchange. So Sorry. Thanks again Tortoisekeeper I love it.
It is the other exchange that I haven't yet received my gift. My appology to this site.

Did anyone agree to more than one exchange?

I haven't mailed mine out yet because my person already got gifted and I am worried someone got left out. Did I read somewhere that Sharon is on vacation or was it someone else maybe? Should I go ahead and mail a second gift to my person or wait to see who does not get something?? Help!

I was in the Secrect Craft exchange as well as the Secret Santa exchange.

I am sorry. To clarify, I meant did anyone sign up for more than one secret santa exchange. That way it would make sense if some people's names were given out twice. Lotusblossum said her person already got a gift and mine did too.

I would just mail them to Sharon, 'Chele.....that way if there was a mixup, she could send it on, and advise you of who it went to.

Well, part of it was personally selected according to info they gave about themselves and it wouldn't mean much to someone else. And Sharon would be out postage too to re-route it. I'm not saying yours is a bad suggestion, I'd just like to pick the gift according to who the person is. I'm just gonna put it on hold until Sharon pops in. Oh well, back to painting.

Hey, my mystery is solved! I wrote to the person that sent a gift to my recipient. As it turns out, that gift was for a different exchange. Whew!! I feel tons better. Okay, one of you out there not expecting a gift, should be expecting a gift still!! LOL It will hit the post office tomorrow!

My apologies for questioning what should be where or who is sending to who. I really was concerned someone might not get something. Mine is heading out late, but it IS on the way!!

I have a feeling Santa will be very busy delivering packages this week and next! Be patient, because I know that at least ONE of you WILL get a package on Thursday!! Who will it be??? Guess we will see! HO HO HO!!!

Well Tina, it looks like most people are telling so I guess it would be a good idea. That way, some of us can get really confused, while others can be assured their gift was delivered! LOL

Whew!! I have been working many hours, I work retail and tis the season to be busy! Plus, I am still under the weather. But, that having been said, I am sorry for not being here every day. Please forgive me, there is no GOOD excuse! I am editing first post to list those who HAVE NOT RECEIVED A GIFT. I will email those little elves who have your name and remind them. You work retail too huh? LOL Hey, are the people down that way still friendly? When I am working they are friendly enough (like they want something hahahaha) but when I am a customer they are not nearly as nice. :)

I feel rotten! It seems as if our postal thief has struck again! Kidneyguy ( Diane) sent her gift to her name I drew for her. Now the gift has been returned to her. Opened, emptied and rewrapped. She will notify the receipient by email shortly.

I sent my gift almost three weeks ago and it has not been received. I am afraid it may have fallen prey to something of this sort.

I had no idea that theft would be an issue in this swap and I am so sorry. I feel as if I have let you all down.

I hope that your gifts of love and caring make their owners by theft happy. It is a sad day when people resort to theft at any time but especially at Christmas.

I did send my secret Santa gift out before i left to visit my daughter over Thanksgiving. I was gone 10 days. When i got back my gift was waiting for me. A lovely gardening book that I am sure i will get much good out of when the Merry season is over, no time now to look at it. Also a very good bag of choc. covered peanuts which I am thoughly enjoying. Thanks Donna
