Alyssum... I'll pray for a good delivery. I know all about that mix of fear and excitment that comes during this time of anticipation. My first was in June and he's already pushing 18 pounds!

Even though I just have one myself, I know all about kiddos. I'm #1 of 10! 21 years from top to bottom. Needless to say, my mom didn't have tons of gardening time, but she did what she could and she passed the bug onto me.

I love kiddos and gardens!

What a beautiful Boy! Does anyone else have photos of their little ones to share? I know its not exactly secret santa stuff but its a great way to get to know each other.

I am # 2 of 9 ViolinAnnie But a heck of a lot older than 21, LOL! Heck, my Little Ones are older than you!!

here are my youngest 2 boys-out of 5 boys!
Kegan-10 is the red head and daymein-6 is the blonde,
they are with my ONLY granddaughter Elizabeth-11mo.
My older boys are 24,20 and 18!

ooohhhhh! I would like one of what ViolinAnnie has, please Santa?!! And since I have had three boys (now 13, 18 and 22), I have lots of g ood experience at raising them! What a CUTE baby!!!

5 boys?? you must have your hands full to say the least! I was raised with 4 brothers so I know!

And, though I admit that baby is an absolute doll and if ViolinAnnie lived close enough I would babysit any time, I am glad my baby days are over! There is a reason God gives babies to the young I guess! I love kids, especially of course, my grandkids and everyones babies, but the thought of raising another one, well, thats a different story :-)

So you all go ahead and have the babies and I will ooooh and aahhh from afar!

that's why I do day care! I get to hold them, sing to them, oogle over them, smell them, rock with them..and then send them home at night!! But I do love babies SOOOOOOOO much!!

That poor kid! Halloween for a birthday?? LOL Hey, at least Aly got to go two days early. :) I want to hear this in ten years. "How come all I ever get for my birthday is a bunch of candy?". "Why do I always have to have dress up parties?". giggle. I'm sorry Aly. I will behave now. I somehow managed to miss the holidays with mine. Hmmm.

Thanks everyone -- actually my DH was thinking of every way possible to prolong the delivery until after midnight -- but she wouldn't wait -- and me either, I was ready for labor to be over. :) At least we won't have to search to far for a theme for her parties.

Welcome to the world Sophie Rose. You have a great day for a birthday - mine plus anniversary is Christmas. No one ever forgets yoour birthday when it's on a special day. Friends of ours have a great combo, her birthday is Halloween, his is New Years Eve and they were married on New Years Eve.
All that aside big hugs and sincere congratulations. Mom and Dad, you must be so relieved and proud to have a healthy little one. D
