Its sounding like we might see each other at the sale (with our little post-it notes saying 'DG' on) - and more will show up at Kathy's place later on. No one is planning to go to the Conservatory anymore, Right?

I'm afraid I'm probably going to cancel. I am so sick today! What started out as a sore throat has gone into my sinuss and my chest. I don't want to get anyone else sick - this is the pits. I reallly wanted to see everyone! :(

Oh shucks GW I was looking forward to meeting your mom and seeing you again. Guess what! I am going to the plant sale after all, one of my gourds sold so that means I'll have a little money.

I'll wear a post-it with my name on it. Hope to see you at the plant sale. DH and I have a 1:30 or 2:00 apointment in Columbus so we will have to see what time everyone is going to Kathy's before we know if we can attend. We will probably not leave the nursery till 11 or so, so it doesn't look loke there will be time. There will be a crowd at the plant sale and DH has other things to look over and shop for there. Oh that is great and I sure will be wearing my DG tag. It will be so nice to meet you finally and good luck with DH BWC case.

Winddy and I will be there bright and early :) hopefully by 7 or so. Most years they let us early birds (especially me, crippled) in early so we don't have to fight the crowds who come.

Lotusblossom, I had hoped we could meet at my house at noon? Would that give you time to come? Then you can take Kimbeley's spirea bush to her. Or I will bring it to the sale with me for you to take home to her? When I told Wind you were another Cathy she can't wait to meet you!

Gardenwife, I am so sorry you are ill. My prayers are with you. Please take good care of yourself :) I know all the pets are working hard to cheer you up.

It was nice out, though, so you were outside in the yard quite a bit with some others. Tiny as our house is, it was a good thing it wasn't raining, or we'd not have had enough space for everyone, LOL!

No we didn't have the pleasure, don't you remember the Old Bucket and I were at your house waiting for you to come back from your mom's house. See old age is starting to creep upon ya lol

LL, DH and I will be at the sale at 7:30 and he will talk with you about going to your house. He is a pussycat and does everything in his power for me so I'm sure he will make a way for us to get there....at least for a little while.

Windy, you were on the patio at GW's when DH and I were there last summer at the get together with the Fab Four. I don't think you had come back in when we left, but we will know for sure when we meet tomorrow.

I'm getting excited about this now. It has been so cold and damp that it hasn't seemed like spring, but today was so nice that I did some things in the yard and cleared out the back porch. Now I feel in the gardening mood again! See you all tomorrow.

Sooooo, how was it? I missed ya'll today! Did you get to meet the newest Ohioan at DG? I got an e-mail from kc8lcw and he said he was planning on going to deMonye's sale, anyway and hoped to see us there.

We had a great time, great food, and great conversation. I met Windsurfer and Morph and Esther and Bob were there as well as the other bad Kathy. When the weather is nice enough to plan ahead, DH and I are having a cook-out here for the area gardeners.......meaning everyone in Ohio or anywhere else who can come. We can hardly wait.

Oh GW we had a great time and I think I ate too much at lupy's.
Lupy and I got there about 6:45 AM, if I had of had my head on right I would have brought my gloves, I frooze my fingers off all execpt the one that was wrapped lol.
There is a topiary there that I just adored but they were all sold, not that I could afford it. I talked to the lady that creates them (her name is Kathy....wouldn't you just know it.) and she invited me back in May and told me she would make me one without the flowers at a good price. I am going to post the picture later, I think I over did everything and now I am paying for it.
GW your mother is such a sweetheart and I hope that she and I can get together again.

Yes, great time :) Thanks SO much Lupine! My schedule got messed up and I went straight to Lupine's place to see everyone. Glad I did since Lotusblossom & DH were headed on to other obligations. Almost missed them!

Thanks to Esther & her DH for cuttings ~ yippee!!! More fun stuff to grow and use in my soap making :) I got to finally meet the gourd queen, Windsurffer, which was great! And, Lupine of course ~ what a sweetheart!

Sorry you couldn't join us, Kim. Would have liked to have met you, too. Perhaps another time...

When your mom told me that she recognized me by my finger I almost died laughting, she is a wonderful woman and your so lucky to have her. I sure wish that you could have been here, you would have got a kick out of how Bob was picking on me about the camera. You know I owe him one for that, he is not off the hook yet and will get his up and comings lol.
I do plan to come and see you and your mom as soon as the planting thing is over. I really like her and I think that she and I could hang out and have a great time together.

As you know I don't have any plants this time of year but that didn't stop Esther from sharing her plants with me. I did enjoy meeting her and her DH, I saw him first at the plant sale and because he was wearing a green jacket I thought he worked there. Imagine my surprise when Lupy introduce me to Esther and Bob to me at the plant sale.

Hey Morph all the photos I took with the tri pod turned out great except for the one I was in, now doesn't that tell you something lol.
After all the teasing I took from Bob. Since I have never used the tall tri pod I had no idea how to set my camera but somehow they turn out ok and I will be posting the photos minus myself.
Morph it was so nice to finally meet you and I do wish you had more time to sit and chat, did you make it to the plant sale? I know it was late. I am going to have to go back because I didn't get to see it all.

Windy, I won't complain one bit if you don't post any photos! Esther was so generous with the plants & desert that I decided to head back to Dayton. Also, I didn't want to hit rush hour. Meeting you guys was more fun anyway :)

If they are open tomorrow, I might try going again. DH has to work today, so my only other chance is tomorrow (fingers crossed).

Family emergencies (nothing too terrible) happened on Friday, so I got to spend that evening and all day yesterday trying to cope. Things relatively calm today, so of course we had to go back to the nursery. And then over to Oakland. They had lily bulbs 3/1.00!!! I got 3 different kinds, Windd got 2 different kinds.
