My youngest son won LOTS of tickets to Lawn & garden show, gave me two but I just couldn't muster up the umf to go. I have spent the day wrapped in plush blanket, napping and reading. There are things I should be doing but ….
I doubt Kevin will be here more than two more months. He's sorting thru his stuff, deciding what movies to keep, which to sell and his very expensive collection of board games, some purchased at more than $200 each, then there is his collection of miniatures. That's a nice bedroom and at the far side of the house. I would be tempted to change rooms but it's right off the game room. Once I have Adam & his step daughter here, THAT room will not be as quiet!
It will likely be a month at least before Adam's family can return into the home the Park & Rec provide with her job as Park Ranger. Wife & other kids were mostly moved in before the flood damage. A new creek has been created by the flooding and it took out the water pipe to the park. The roads still need to be repaired.
Best/Worse/What did I learn today? Come sit a spell..newcomers always welcome..

Pat, no plan making, you do what your body and mind want you to do at the time, you’ve been under so much stress this past year that is will take you as much to regain your old self...
Liz, it’s amazing isn’t it just how much we collect that we really don’t need, still difficult though as we are sure we want to Use them one day in the long omg future.im trying to use mine up, especially in sewing and stained glass..that is my goal for the year, only buy what I need to finish a project..the ast patty’s quilt back had to be pieced and the top was all my st patty stash, the bench pillow will be the same, scraps scrap scraps..
I marked on Christmas 2020 list that I want 10 window hangers sone..one a month..
ZIggy crying to get out, not until daylight, worry about creatures out there
Grabbing coffee and quilt a bit
thanks betty
Betty, I love that gnome. Sounds like the CBD oil is working for you if you're going to drive 3 hours to get more.
It is $80.00 a bottle here. So I hope mine starts to give me some relief soon.
Just back, yes worth a 3 hr drive each way..$90 for not a very large bottle, these past 2 weeks I’m almost my old self, don’t know IF that is a good thing or not..lol..
These oils don’t do anything for my shoulder though, been babying it since I got all those needles Wednesday night but after driving all day I’m hurting a bit, that being said I’ve been up since before 3a.m,nothing a hot bath won’t help.
That Indian reserve store was so professional, well manned, well knowledgeable..they answered all questions, knew their products, gave each of us Ailment & Treatment Guide, well worth the trip.
Remember the photo’s I showed you of Linda’s neighbour with shingles, she is in so much pain and itching like crazy, cries all day..they recommended a salve and something to calm her and ease her somewhat, hopes it works a little..here is hoping..if it helps her I will surely be confirmed consumer.
Glad you were able to get what you wanted Betty and enjoyed your drive.I haven't been to Roseneath in probably 40 years but it used to be a pretty little place.
Pat take each day as it comes. I know sometimes just to keep busy is the best thing for you.
My left knee has been a problem for a few years so no Betty I didn't twist it. I think it felt sorry for Deb's knee. The surgeon wanted a replacement knee put in about 4 years ago and I said no. After all the problems I had with the right knee I will avoid this procedure as long as I can.
The TH and I walked twice today but the second walk they came home before I was ready to.It was so nice out I wanted to stay out.
I'll be interested in what you have to say about the booklet you got at the reserve.
What was everybody up to this weekend?
I haven't been out for several days but have to take the Escape in for an oil change tomorrow. Since I'm out I will stock up on the TH's food and treats.
Stay safe and well
Morning all, it’s a sunshine day out there. I let Ziggy out and I could actually hear some birds chirping so they must be telling me that spring is on the way. It truly was a day to be outside yesterday Dianne in fact when I got in from my drive there was a lot of tree limbs and I had some cardboard rather than put in recycle I burnt and put some of the downed limbs on it, of course they were much too wet to burn .
It felt so nice though to be out in the yard kept looking around at all the yard art thinking how messy it looked but then talking myself into how beautiful little become summer so much work ahead but I won’t give up my gardens.
Diane, it’s hard to know what is best for you with regards to surgery or no surgery sometimes you have a done and you’re worse off than you were before.
The two places that we saw and one was spectacular I could’ve taken home so much was in Peterborough just on the outskirts it was a big craft barn in many nights were there the upper floor was full of kitchen in bed settings decor not cheap for sure but such unusual things.
Was thinking what a great day trip it would be when Debbie in the Ohio girls come this year we could go into Peterborough to the lake and shop there have lunch shop a few other locations and just enjoy the drive and be home before late so I’ve marked it on my schedule.
More
Good morning. Looks like the boys are having fun. Such beautiful scenery.
With the "war and opiates" and the pain relieving benefits of Cannabises, there is no doubt in my mind. Cannabises will become more and more mainstream and accepted. The CBD alone, without the THC, is beneficial and for many people, enough to ease pain. Together, the CBD and THC, are generally thought to work better.
Other than go to church on Sunday, and a trip to Walmart to buy leggings for my "future granddaughter", all I did was curl up in plush warm blanket in my recliner, read and nap. THAT's it.
Sounds like a perfect way to spend a Sunday, Pat!
Yep, Greg has been going for years, friends of his own the business, then back here in the spring till fall ...Am sure from the looks of it Jeff will be joining him in future years
Got to say this nice weather is making me antsy..sent this to Sharon., said we’d have to do one in her garden and mine..doable!! I think lol
Have 1:30 appt. for oil change in Midland, I found a skein of wool so bringing knitting needles and left over scared wool and I’ll knit..Christmas is coming🤪
This morning I thought rather than write out my grocery needs 9n my kitchen door cabinet I’d get my liner and white paint out and put down as many items as I can then I’d just have to tick off what is needed..if I don’t like it I’ll sand and re do blackboard paint
My spring projects
List this page, posted but must have been on an old one..
Soon as nice weather starts going to drill holes in my fence
I like the marble project! VERY cute. My SisIL is going to make me an entry arbor with recycled door once she finds two affordable ones she likes.
WOW. Hard to believe you can walk up to those big creatures. Are they caribou?
I love that fence idea.
Yes, caroboo, Jeff says he has taken thousand of photos, thInk they come home Wednesday.
That I’ll be nice Pat, you and your sister creating works of art in the yard.
I told Sharon, each week I’ll buy a 4 x 4 for the project that we come spring I will change my mind as I like me have all the supplies for it, I can keep It On mind for my Mother’s Day to do list that Greg and Jeff come to help with..
Having a wide awake moment sure hope I can fall asleep I will be a long day
Good morning.
I can't fall asleep either. You are right Betty it is going to be a long day.
I need to have a button that stops me from going to Amazon.I was looking to see what they had in terms of latch hook packages. While strolling through the items I found what sounds to me interesting and it is punch hook instead of latch hook. So I ended up ordering a book about it and a punch hook project. I want to start/finish a Southwestern themed latch hook piece first before I move on.
What's everybody up to today ?
Stay safe, warm and well.
Morning, mild out there, expecting snow though..
Lordy I think I have I punch needle..years ago when I was at the community Center we made large wooden frames, used almost a potato type sack, did our design and did punch art, I found it much easier and got further than latch hook..
Just a thinking, over our years we sure have tried a lot of different craft methods haven’t we. I know if it was out there I tried it.
You will be proud of me, going to organize myself in tool room, set up a space and start using my glass, am sure the foil tape I have is unusable??
Not for sure what punch hook is. Will have to Google it.
Binding on quilt throw, have some hand sewing to do
Yep, I've done punch hook work YEARS ago too! LindaK, it makes a raised stitch that remind me of a commercial emblems you put on a letterman's jacket or cheerleader uniform etc.
Think I’m going to town to the bank, it’ seems like spring but I don’t understand why they say there is a winter advisory watch on..thInk I will go anyway... I will pick up Kentucky fried chicken as it’s opens at 11..likely I’ll be home by the time bad weather turns
Made a gnome this morning, remember why I don’t like glue guns

Shrove Tuesday..... who is having pancakes?
Darn, forgot all about that..would pop up pancakes count?
Dianne, is there a mega storm brewing in your area, calling between 15-30 cm.here, so don’t want to shovel, maybe it will head in different direction..
Have one more side to hand sew on my throw, was going to wait to do it tonight but decided maybe I can knit, want to finish that project if Ziggy will let me.
Beautiful gnome Betty.
Waiting for a massive storm to hit. It has probably already hit in Betty's area. It's going to be a prolonged storm as well.
Only 21 days to Spring !!
