I tried to hang up two towels racks and managed to strip the screw heads, darn it. *sigh* trip to hardware store to get new screws and try again. SHEESH. this should be such an easy job that a child could do and I still messed it up! LOL

Linda, you will feel like a new woman when your gallbladder is removed. I will send angels Friday to keep an eye on you and get you home safely.

Vern is ready to go to bed. I got on here late. And when he is ready, he is ready. And I just go with the flow. All is well.

Morning, much of the region got freezing rain, not here as yet, school buses are cancelled, here is hoping although the sky is dark grey that it misses me.

Just mind boggling that one could have this surgery and be home a few hours later..could you stay maybe one night in San Antonio just as a precaution?

I took on a big cleaning project yesterday, in order to finish it I have another half day of sorting,purging and organizing space bags, could wait to finish it but I’m on a roll lol

Haven’t heard from Pete’s fix it re my snowblower, did without it for six years and now I’m anxious to get it running as more snow is on the way.

Wanneta couldn’t come with the girls yesterday so she is coming at 8:30 so best I finish coffee clean up at least the working area.

Did find some goodies though, packages of fat quarters and birdhouse blocks from a swap, more to do projects.

I'm on the run again. Today we play crib, then meet a friend for dinner, then it's off to the bowling lanes for volunteer training.
Tomorrow morning we head off to Olds to see if the Vulnerable Sector paperwork is in for Bob, then the RCMP to get our Criminal Checks.

I had accidently forgotten that I had jury duty and totally blew it off until AFTER the date of service!!! I got lucky and learned I was not called to appear. Imagine how I would have felt with a bench warrant for not doing jury duty! LOL that would have looked great on my next criminal background check! (every 2 years at my employment)

We are suppose to be in the low 30s tonight and tomorrow night and with the rain, I will lose some succulents. They don't like to be wet and cold at the same time.

Hospice was here for 3 days straight and I refused the majority of what they had to offer because we do not need it yet. I cannot wait to see what they charge for each visit. It is paid by Medicare but I paid into Medicare and money is really wasted.

We are good and we will be better when i warms up and Vern can go outside,

We have the ice. Everywhere! Supposed to go up to 50 today to melt it, not seeing it happen as yet and tonight we have high wind warnings.

I got a Text from Dianne yesterday Her laptop is down, and she has bronchitis.
Was heading for a nap with the TH. New laptop on order!!!

Ohhh thought I dropped in this morning but didn’t..

Called for freezing rain this morning but missed us..sigh of relief..temps are above normal, I want cold so snow Mel’s slowly and no flooding.

Oh Pat, that would have not been good..I got a notice but wrote them back and explained my many trips to hospital..didn’t get a call thank goodness.

Hope you don’t lose your pretties Sharon, can you throw light tarp/plastic , pots overturned over them so they don’t die?? Imagine you’ve thought of that and you’ve so many..once they freeze will new sprouts come out? I’m sure the health workers understand, you know best as to what is needed or not.

“M” maybe you are getting what we had, last week, imagine, 70 cm of snow, if that wasn’t bad enough then came the rain. How is Gord doing?

Spoke with Pete’s Fix it...not sure I mentioned he thinks my snow blower will need new carburetor as he can’t get mine cleaned, does them an injustice not using for so many years...told him to order new one..bill will be over $200 but if it helps these old bones out there sniwblowing vs shovelling, I’ll in in for it.

On a mission, cleaned every cupboard downstairs, organized and purged fabric, now into tote where all left over fabric is thrown in a tote..cutting into squares, strips etc..just came up for lunch, have about 3 more hours work, if I sit for much longer that will be it for the day.

Gord is well, the first month post op knee replacement was tough, but, he made it !
He was out snow blowing for 2 hours today and did well.. we have had about 10" of snow, and it's still falling ..
Lorna's ATV is back from the shop .. what a relief ..

The 3 dogs LOVE the snow .. crazy dogs LoL

“M” big smile when I see your lists, I’ve missed you.. any pictures of that grandbaby? As long as Gord doesn’t overdo it..has Lornas prothsesis finally painless? So many questions...here is hoping the snow stops but the freezing rain and mild tenps don’t cause you flooding..

Suzanne is still dealing with her flood, didn’t want to call insurance as she has had other claims and you know what that does to premiums.

Tossing and turning trying to find a comfy position, no can find!

Morning, high wind warning, freezing out there and now it’s starting to snow,what a mess that will be..already a skating rink out there..good day to stay in, been like that past few weeks.
