Glad to hear you had a great day.
Best/Worse/What did I learn today? chat with friends old & new..always welcome newcomers!
Oh Pat I hear a little more pep in your step from your post.Feels good doesn't it on so many levels ? Glad you had some help. Not trying to butt in but has your son looked at teaching in another country ? I have friends who are now in Cairo teaching but have been in Jakarta and Shanghai. In 2017 they came home with plans to stay but Deb felt she needed more teaching time. On Boxing Day she went to NYC for an interview and ended up teaching back in Cairo Jan 1. I guess I am saying there are lots of international jobs out there if that's what he is looking for.My friends love to travel so teaching overseas encourages that plus they get very well paid in American $s not Canadian.
LK hope things are continuing to improve daily for your DB.
Dull, gray and very cold here.
What's everybody up to today ? Me not much - clean up the TH's yard, bring in more wood and just tidy up some clutter. I don't know how for 1 person and 2 Rottis this place gets cluttered fast. In part it seems more messy than it is as it is and open floor plan.
Karen I have to tell you your Christmas tree and where you have it placed in your new home is absolutely stunning. Will you host Christmas dinner in your new home? Lots of new memories to make.
Stay safe, well and warm/cool everyone.

Jim was moved to a regular room yesterday. Probably going home midweek. Therapy will continue at home till he can walk better. Dr. said he was brought to the hospital in time to get the proper treatment. He should have a full recovery in about 2 months.
Thanks for all your prayers.
Morning all,
Great news Pat..feels wonderful to feel on top of our ‘to do’ list. When did you say they arrive?great that you had the help, before you know it you’ll be sitting, relaxing and wonder8ng what to do with yourself..of course that will never happen.
Dianne, glad you are feeling well enough to get out with the TH,slow steps today for you,do you decorate? Lots of people ask why I decorate so much when I don’t have a lot of people to enjoy, I always say, I do it for me...
Headed out at 7:30. As they are calling for snow today..it’s 26 with a feel like 19, not too overwhelming..managed to buy my boys their Jammie’s and Tim hortons credit cards so was pleased with that..took 2 quilts from my stash, here is hoping they eachlike what they get, if not they can exchange them for other quilts on the quilt ladder lol
Went to Home Depot amd bought wood and dowels to do a quilt ladder for Melanie, love mine..thought of Barb and Norm, got the patter from the one Norm made for Barb..Lordy, needed 3 dowels and they were $10.98 each, the the 2 sides and gorilla glue and stain..nothing is cheap even to make..read somewhere on internet yesterday about appreciating hand made items, not because person are being cheap..should have copied it.
Looked at roasts and decided I wasn’t paying that price for Sunday supper so bought one of those frozen turkey rolls with stuffing (19.00) bought a turnip, will cook myself a good supper and have left overs
Well I want to sew on binding on the Victorian Santa throw for Rita to have something to do later while resting and just maybe get the 2nd throw done..
Could also drill holes for the quilt ladder and stain.lost I can be doing but what I WILL get done is another thing right.
Like Dianne, wondering what everyone is up to.
Linda, good news for your brother, sounds like he's making a good recovery. It does take time but nice the hope is there.
Betty you just have to give into the dizziness, no sense in hurting yourself. Be a couch potato and watch a few Christmas movies until it passes.
