Betty I am glad to see you went to the hospital and they kept you. Sending positive and comforting thoughts and prayers. Don't worry if you don't feel up to posting now we know you are being taken care of.
The TH send lots of kisses.... they don't have doggie breath so the kisses are sweet.
Does anyone have her phone number?
I think Debbie does and maybe even Betty's son's Greg.
The phone is to her house. She has no cell phone. So if no one is there does no good.
I will see if I can find her sister Sharon and talk.
I just talked to Sharon.
Our miss Bessie Lou is not doing well.
She needs prayers very much.
Wentt via ambulance Tuesday. With vomiting and severe diarrhea....which was all blood
It is still not stopped. She had scans and is sleeping now. Melanie is at hospital eith her.
Stubborn woman never notified family she was in hospital. Mel is waiting for doctors and update
now you see why I call ber Bessie lou!
..
Thanks for letting us know. Sending prayers.
Keeping abreast of this awful news, and, praying Betty is doing better... I could guess at a bowel obstruction .. but, it'd just be a guess .. and, I KNOW if that's what it is she is going to be very ill until it can be rectified.
Positive thoughts going east ..
~M~
wow - hope she's resting. I'm glad she's getting care at the hospital. *Hugs* for Betty.
Thank you so much Debbie getting word to us about Betty. My prayers are so strong for her. They will continue......
I haven't had a current update since Sharon said Mel is camped out at the door waiting for the doc to do rounds. She is in a lot of pain and not well at all.
October she had the appendicitis rupture, she has had 2 rounds of pneumonia and the brain bleed....I believe another fall on her kiester in there.
Don't know what else to do with her....besides duct tape and straight jacket to keep her settled down! Just know she is in the right place to get help.
Sharon messaged They are thinking this is colitis. Sent biopsy off to the big hospital and waiting.

It's hard to keep Betty pinned down - she's such a go-getter, and a do-er!
Praying for you Betty.
Praying for Betty. My DH Vern is not having a good three days. Praying for both of them would help. Hugs, Sharon
Kind of the sort of thing I figured was going on with our Betty.
Hugs to you Sharon, hoping Vern is better soon.
JUST CHECKING IN ..
Hoping NO news is good news ..
My DH is going through a session right now as well .. with him it's musculoskeletal, as in , arthritis in his back .. awful ..
My prayer list will grow with the addition of Vern, plus you Sharon .. and, that's fine by me ..
~M~
Our prayers seem to go in circles and we all know that circles never end. And neither will our prayers for each other. Mine continue for all in need....
Sending positive comforting thoughts and prayers for Betty, Vern and Gord.. Hope their pain levels have gone down.
Sending prayers for everyone.
Sending prayers for all in need.
Happy Birthday, Karen! Wishing you a wonderful day!
Thanks for the birthday wishes. Heading downstate today for great grands b'day tomorrow. Will see most of the family there.
Warm, gentle hugs to all in need. Hoping all are feeling better soon.
Happy Birthday, Karen - hope you have an awesome day!!
Happy Birthday Karen. The TH and I wish you peace, love, health and happiness.
Dianne
Happy Birthday Karen
I haven't had any news since last night.
Happy Birthday Karen. Have a safe trip. I was just checking in for news on Betty. Vern is the same. Thank you for your support.
wrote such a long meassahe and poof didn't attach to file, not up to another right now
Results of tests is I have 20 inches badly infected , says colitis and maybe cheones,waiting for results likely Tuesday as to what the will do, operation quite possible, so here I will be toll then then find out if operation is need, where I will go
Sending our prayers for you, as well as lots of gentle arm wraps.
Betty, Angels and blessings coming your way. We all need your bright spark here so get well soon. Be do what the medical personnel tell you.
Vern was having an OK day but right as he was eating dinner, he started throwing up and has just stopped. I believe he stopped because there was nothing left in his stomach. He is getting weaker every day. I am so worried because it appeared my old Vern was returning and then this. Right now I am sitting in the bedroom and he is resting in the bed. He has the company of both dogs and he likes that.
Another hot and very windy day today. Like a blast furnace on the plants. Suppose to be cooler tomorrow, 94 degrees but windier. It is this time of year this big house and landscape make me think of a condo.
Karen, you should be with your grandchildren by now and having a big birthday celebration.
Dianne, so glad you are started with your redo. The TH sound so delightful. How are you sleeping?
Debbie, I am so sorry you are having problems with Vertigo. I had that many year ago and it was absolutely terrible.
Marilyn, good to see you back. I hope Gord is feeling better. How is the rest of the family?
Susan, looks like you have made a big dent in the redoing of your place. That is/was a lot of work. We all know you will be so thrilled when this is all behind you.
Barb, I need to do the same with gardening items that you are doing with sewing.
Since I spend the majority of my time in the house, with Vern, I have cleaned out drawers, mostly, in the kitchen. I did do one desk, right outside the back door that leads into the garage. It is a built in and a catch all for anything I am to tired to put away. When they are your junk drawers, only you can clean them out.
I will continue to check in on Betty and all of you. I do lurk every day but the majority of the time I have very little to say. Hugs and blessings to all of you, Sharon
Good morning everyone. Have said my prayers for all and know that He hears them.
So nice to read your newsy post Sharon and I'm hoping Vern is feeling much better. Could be nothing more than something he ate that rebelled.
Happy belated birthday Karen. Missed it yesterday. Hope your having a fun time at great grands birthday and safe travels.
Just got word my son and his family are coming from Colorado for a visit. Haven't seen my SIL or granddaughters since 2010!!! It is expensive to fly for all of them and I can't fly to go there anymore. I'm getting so excited and only found out this morning!!!! End of the month......
Happy to see you post Betty. I know you will do whatever the doctors say so you can get better. I know this cancels out your trip but there will be plenty more when you are well again. I know the girls would rather you take care of yourself too.
Was thrilled to see the photo of Ann and the twins. They are getting really big now.
Must close and do my machine.
~~~~~ waving and sending extra prayers for all in need.
Good morning ladies ..
Nice to hear from Betty .. the worst symptom, and all of us dislike it, is WAITING !!
That's the one that drags ya down, as it is the fear of the unknown that just makes you want to avoid everything.
Here's a link ...
HURRAY Barb re your family visit .. it will be so exciting ..
Sharon, poor Vern .. dogs and bed are the perfect choice for care :-)
My family is doing OK .. DGD is now at home, and,on meds for depression .. she has absolutely LOST her spark ..'Joie de vivre' .. the drugs 'dumbed her down' .. no job, just her room, and an occasional day out with what friends she has left. A conversation with her is tant amount to speaking to a young child.
DGS is fine .. light of our lives .. and DS and DDinL are doing well ..
Have some pics of Lorna on FBook, she is crazy busy with flower planting at the cemetery.
Will keep popping in
~M~
Keeping Vern in our prayers also.
Glad to hear family is coming for a visit.
"M", glad to hear granddaughter is home. Praying she will get through this depression soon. Is she going to counseling?
Keeping prayers going for Betty, for a speedy recovery.
So aggravated, wrote a long post, even copied it incase but no go grrrr
Trevernier just came in, said he called lab to have results expedited and should have them Monday,then we can decide course of action. If operation is needed he will do it right away.
Tad better today
Glad to see you trying to post Betty.
Try to get some rest, and feel better soon.
((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))
*Hugs* Betty - SO good to hear from you. Sounds like they're thinking an operation is likely necessary. Nice to know what's wrong, but 20" infected? oh my..........
Our den is done - floor's washed, and ready to move in!! We're just waiting for the guy who did the drywall to come by, before we move stuff in. He'd asked for us to let him see it before we get the furniture moved in. Really looks nice - the fellow who did the trim work really captured what we wanted in the "look".
We couldn't be happier with the room :-)
Betty, so glad to hear you may hear something on Monday. Just get rested up and heal. You,like myself, do not know when to quit.
Vern is not better today but not worse. He has stopped throwing up but still very weak. I did get him in and out of the shower but it was scary. I am going to call the service and get someone here every morning. I also need someone o help me get him into bed. He is a prideful man so I will not use family to help get him into bed at night.
I worked in my courtyard today. Just out the front door and Vern could see me and I could see him. I intended to be out there 1 hour but ended up closer to 5. Then when I came in, I had the kitchen to clean, cook dinner and do a load of wash. I postponed all of that earlier so I could garden in the cooler morning temps. I know myself and in the back of my mind I knew I would not be done in one hour. My garden helper was started before I got out there and agreed to stay over until we were done. I bet he will never do that again anytime soon.
I will check in with you guys after lunch tomorrow. Have a great Sunday morning.
Hugs, Sharon
Warm hugs to Sharon & Betty.
Sharon hoping Vern will be able to rally, this has to be difficult for you.
Betty dear, so glad you are being a model patient. Hoping Monday brings an answer and all can be made well soon.
Thanks for all the birthday wishes. My family pulled off a huge surprise on me. Very seldom do I remain in the dark, but this time even all the kids were totally mum. I never had the least bit of a clue they were doing this all around me for months. Today they presented me with this.......(One grandson has yet to add his and the empty spaces are for future additions.)
Just checking in to see if Betty had posted .. hoping she has a better day today.
Sharon .. our Nevada Angel .. huge hugs, and, all the best to Vern .. I care for Lorna in various ways with her disability, and it is not easy, but, we do it .. these last few days with Gord and his back have been quite an eye opener .. sure hope you can get some help.
Will check back later ..
~M~
