Just got in from my perm and town, thought I would check for a post from Susan..its just after 4 her time, all sorts of things run through ones mind when no news

Went to Canadian tire, they will replace the sod I bought which is beyond dead..truck load coming in Friday

Didn't want to cook so picked up chicken and salads,missy is watching me eat and beggin

Rash and hives are still here. I take a benadryl every 4 hours and it calms it down, but makes me very tired. Going to urgent care in the morning.

LK hoping you get rid of your itchies .. best thing is to be seen .

I see there's nothing from Susan .. am seriously hoping it's just because they are engrossed in the move, and, nothing sinister has happened ..

Going to try for groceries again today ..

64 here this morning, light rain all night, calling for more later in the day but sunshine galore right now ..imagine, just got out of bed, call me l a z y!

Lindakay, will you be going to urgent care?

Likely an update from Susan today, would imagine by today services will be hooked up or she will find somewhere with wifi to do so.

think I'll go spread grass seed on the areas that I put top soil seeing as it is wet, not much more I can do until it dries a tad..am sure I shall find something to fill in my day, always seems to be something.

Off to get my eyes fixed. Talk to you all later.

I am back from urgent care. They have no idea what is causing this, but I have this rash/hives all over my body. They gave me a strong steroid shot, and gave me meds to take. Attarax and 6 days of steroids. I am to go back Monday if it is not getting any better.

Lordy Lindakay, it's the not knowing that is the worse..let's hope the shot and meds relieve the itchiness.

The turtles are here !!! Lots of activity on the driveway. Glad the 1 flower bed has nothing of note in it. I usually plant annuals there as the turtles go in there and make a huge mess. Duke is not happy and is letting everyone within a mile or so know.

Its trying to rain so I watered the hanging baskets anyway. That is sure to bring the rain on.

Dianne, must be because you are near the water that the turtles. Want to make their home..duke is letting them know they are welcome for a bit but then they will have to move on, this is his territory!

It's about 10am in Susan's neck of the woods, time she is up and at it and sends us an update as we are all anxious..

Dropped by to see Lorna, my gosh the gardens are looking spectacular !!! She is working away, and a great day to do so .. a fairly crisp NW wind is keeping the nasty bugs away ..

I don't know if you remember the reaction I had to a drug 2 years ago .. I was a rash all over, and, they said I had Stevens Johnson Syndrome .. I was a MESS .. and, it is dangerous .. so please, watch yourself ..

I do remember you having that "M"! When the doc first came in and saw my rash, she asked if I had fever or sore throat. I do not. She first thought it was scarlet fever. But she determined that was out.

I'm home and fine. My eyelids were so droopy, it looked like I was asleep all the time. Plus it interfered with my vision. Was a very short surgery, I was awake, area was numbed. I'm pretty sure it will look worse before it gets better but should be all fine in a few weeks.

Very gray day out there. It has spit rain a bit but no showers. We sure need it.

Getting anxious for Susan. Sure hope M, Betty and I don't have to go and bail her out. Just kidding but I don't trust these tenants from hell.at all.

One turtle seems to be making her way home although could also be looking for just the right spot. I keep an eye out as after the eggs are laid I have to go mark the spot and put something around it so the raccoons don't get in the hole and eat the eggs.Another turtle has arrived so I am in for a long night. I imagine at some point in time many turtles laid their eggs here and we unknowingly built the house over their nesting place.

LK I had scarlet fever in my teens and it didn't look anything like what you have. The skin peeled off the palms of my hands as I started to get better.

Skeeters are out in full force - it is so damp they are flocking inside too. I hate the screens in our windows actually I HATE all of the windows. We have already spent a bundle having the screens redone only for them to fail again. While garden doors sound wonderful I want sliders. Enough belly aching I have a lovely home except for the windows and screens. In a couple of years I will have them all replaced.

Going to check on the turtles. Duke has finally stopped barking at them.

Can well imagine what the tenants have to say..did they by any chance mention that Susan and bob were back in the park?

Hives are still here, gone from my legs, but moving up more to my torso and back of my head. I did get a good sleep as I took benadryl, attarax and my ambien.

Hope things calm down LK and that the hives disappear quickly.
Praying all is going okay for Susan. Sure wish she would post here.
Will it take long for your eyelids to heal Karen?

Just 1 turtle left but I expect more this week. There I was out there in the middle of the night with my miner's light putting up structures to keep the eggs safe.

Absolutely lovely outside. The boys and I will soon go for a walk. The bug situation will have calmed down by then. In the very early morning the skeeters are horrible.

Eyes are quite swollen and really pretty colors. Not painful though and in a week or two should be good to go out in public.

Very happy to read Susan and Bob are moved in. Been having some nasty scenarios playing through my head as the hours have gone by.

Duke alerted me another snapper is coming. He smells them long before they can be seen. I can see her at the top pf the hill.

Was just outside for about 20 min and am covered in new skeeter bites. I can't find my Afterbite. Darn!

Hi - sorry it's been so long for the update
Here goes - Tenants never showed up for the walk through, although last night they sent a snarky email saying they did, but saw our friend John (called him an old lackey of ours, and said they didn't want to deal with him). They dropped off keys at dinnertime on the 1st, while we were out getting something to eat.
They caused over $1k damage, so of course they don't want to do a walk through. They even took one of the 7's from our home address for Pete's sake! We took copious pictures, and the place was FILTHY!!! (beyond filthy - will take 4 hours to clean the oven), took the chain from the toilet flush mechanism, took holding clips off the bathroom tap and we can't buy "just" them, so have to buy new faucet, took clips off all the blinds so when we pull the string they fall out of the brackets (8 windows, so 16 clips), cut and "patched" a hole in the bedroom wall - looks ugly!!. took one of the elements in stove and turned it so it didn't have connection, left major lint in dryer vent, etc etc etc.
At least our roses, lilacs, honeysuckle, and bleeding hearts are blooming, and my Christmas cactus which didn't bloom at Christmas bloomed on moving day!!! One bloom, but beautiful!!! Cheers me up to see my garden, but OH, the weeds.....

I'd best get back to putting stuff away - my knees are Killing me, but it has to be done.
We didn't get our piano yet, but working on it - either Grace will get it sold for us, or we'll find someone to help us move it here.....

At least they are OUT and you are IN. It's how I felt about our rental.
