Back from the hospital ... A 50/50 appointment .. doc is having some difficulty with a stitch in one of the eyes .. I was of the opinion that the sutures were dissolving ..
Anyway ... see him again Wednesday in the office .. I guess we will just keep doin what we are told to do ..

Sharon, wonderful to hear from you .. sorry about the broken lamp shade .. myMom had something similar happen many years ago .. one of my brothers threw a football in the house, and, kersmash .. she wasn't able to replace it, so bought new ones ..

Lorna did well today ..planted 4 gardens !! Says her leg was good .. fingers crossed .

Sleep angels with velvet hammers needed here ,, been up since 4am .. I fall asleep, waken, and, BAM .. watch the clock turn over new numbers .

Sigh, my house is soooo quiet now. I miss all the little ones so much, got lots of hugs.
Dinner tonight was hash I made of the leftover prime rib, mighty tasty.
At hospital tomorrow morning at 6:45 for yet another EGD. Blood draw on Wed. and eyelid surgery on Thursday. Think I'm not doing much the rest of this week.

Susan, sure hoping the walk through goes well and without stress. If you don't get your rent, I certainly would NOT return their deposit. Surely the court or whatever would stand behind you on this. I don't see how you can be compelled to return their deposit when they refused to pay the rent owed.

Thanks Sharon, Linda Kay, et al - seems every time we cover our butts, he finds another way to kick us in them.
We went tonight to see if they'd show for a walk through. They've brought a mattress in and put it up against a wall. Dumped stuff in the back yard - all sorts of stuff. It's junky, for sure.
They never showed, of course. Someone would have called them, and reported us being there, but we were "there to visit a friend, who happened to visit us in the car" lol Margaret was there to witness the walk through. She'll be there as many times as necessary to make sure she's helping us.

Best of luck today Susan, and, if all goes well you will be 'back home' tonight, and, sleeping in your own bedroom ..

Joining Dianne's 'Club Sleepless' .. infuriating that .. likely fall asleep while having my teeth cleaned !

Only 42F right now, downright cool .. not sure if we'll get rain ..

Lilly is doing ok .. but .. I think both she and Zoey have ear mites from going into the tall grass .. one of the reasons for no sleep .. they have collars on, with tags, and, they were shaking their heads .. DH and I gave them both an ear wash yesterday, looks like another one on the way ..

Girls just left, was anxious to check in, know it's a tad early for Susan's noon hour entry into her home..saying a prayer all goes well, well at least that tenants aren't there to rattle your chain.

AC is off, wonderful breeze off the lake and relatively little humidity.

The TH are sacked out sound asleep while I prowl around. I went out early this morning before 7 and started my outside chores. I have taken myself off of my meds so I am gaining weight and not sleeping but I have lots of energy. They have never been able to sort out my cortisol level. Tomorrow I will start the huge weed in 1 of the gardens. To be quite honest since Warren died I have had little interest in the gardens and I have just let them go for the most part. All of my perennials are doing very well so will weed around them to start.

Betty I have fallen in love with this battery charged grass trimmer. It is so light and easy to use I find myself looking for excuses to use it.

Dawn my cleaning lady was here this morning. The house looks and smells good.

Going into Ktown tonight for a 70 th BD dinner. Gloria turns 70 today so Maryl and I are taking her to what I've heard is a very nice place. We will meet Maryl there as Ron her DH is still in intensive care.

Sharon it was so good to 'see' you.

OK need to shower and find something to wear that fits. Good luck with that. I sent all of my dress up clothes to Value Village a few years ago so it is slim pickens. At least I have a great pair of Sketchers now so won't be going in with my flip flops.

Doing same "M" it's been forever since they've wanted to get back into their home with so much drama sent their way from tenants that I can't see the tenants won't do something underhanded..

You gals are going to talk me into getting a battery operated weeder with all your talk of loving it..not sure it would be strong enough to do the ditches though. You preferred early appointment didn't you "M"?

How did Lorna do today?

Went to foodland in town vs going into midland...highway robbery, they put everything up now that cottages are here.

See they are working hard in the bakery at the corner, think they want to be open for July 1st

I am here checking on Susan and Bob also. I did a little work in my data list today in really ticked off my right leg. So then I laid down on the bed for about three hours and now I'm just up. Didn't get any photos taken but the housekeeper was here yesterday so there was really nothing to do except make the bed and I had already done that.

A neighbors stop by and drop me off some nectarines and some apricots. But I'm not like you ladies I don't bake so I'll just have to beat them.

Betty I'm with you on the price of food but it is going up everywhere. My daughter Tracy is even noticing it.

Hope you all had a wonderful day we were close to hundred degrees today but felt great.

I checked our calendar today and we have no appointments for three weeks. That's like winning the lottery.

Just saw Texas on the News. 12 inches of rain in one day. If we had 12 inches of rain in one day we wouldn't be here. Hugs to you all, Sharon. I will continue checking on Sue and Bob

East Texas is getting a lot of rain. Lots of homes standing in water. Lots of lakes overflowing.

Checking back in to see how Susan made out. Guess the only good things that came out of Kijiji are Diesel and Chaos. Certainly not tenants.

Had an amazing prime rib dinner. Exceptional beef and a big Yorkshire too. The TH is very happy to see me home.

LK I keep thinking you told me you were quite south in Texas so you are still not bearing the wrath of the storms ?

Oh Sharon I so understand your excitement about not having appointments for 3 weeks. As ill as Warren was I was dragging him to the Cancer Center in Ktown 2 to 3 times a week. He was exhausted just from the drive let alone fighting cancer.

The TH has decided it is time to get on the bed as I use the computer. We do this every night about this time so in they trotted. I thought they would want to be outside after being crated for a few hours.

Will check back in later and hope Susan has some good news to share.

Very concerned about no news from Susan. My stomach is doing litttle skips for her since we haven't heard. She and Bob are so emotionally exhausted by all of this plus if they could move in they would have to do move like bunnies as they have to be out of their rental property sooner rather than later.

I think Susan will be okay, as she has mentioned before that she and Bob have the trailer / motorhome? to move into, should they not be able to move into their home right away.

Skipping therapy today. I woke up with hives on both of my arms. Not for sure what it is from. It burns like the dickens.

Morning all, Karen is fine. EGD yesterday went very well, Hemoglobin is up, bleeding is down. Was supposed to have a draw today but stopped in yesterday seeing I was right there and got er done. Fill in Dr. is just not used to me and what's going on. Had to get two draws as she did not order for the hemoglobin just potassium. Next time I ask first.
Tomorrow I have the eye surgery. Think I'll get my groceries today.

Hoping we hear from Susan soon.

I have so much to catch up on, but, just checking in. I drove home yesterday, made it in at 11:30pm, left Colorado at 6:30am. Not too bad!
Had a great trip, Tyler got a few more points toward his Grand Champion title, and I showed a sister to my kids and won a 5 point major, so she is almost a Champion now. Hurt something in my hip when I was running in the show ring, need to call the doc later, as I have shows this weekend near home, and I need to be able to run! Weather was nice once I was there, some rain every day, but it seemed to clear up quickly. After the show on Monday the pups got to stretch their legs at a friends ranch. She trains dogs/owners for herding and has some nice big fenced in pastures that the dogs could run in. That is such a beautiful area of the country!

Lordy Deb your dogs are gorgeous..nice coming home having met your goal re points for championship..yep, you did make good time, weren't speeding or anything were you...ouch, you might have pulled a muscle, might take more than the week to heal.

Looks almost like an 'environmental allergy', as in, you have touched a fabric or metal in those areas, and, you got hives ..

Susan is very resourceful, and, I do believe she would find a way to let us know ? I don't see any smoke signals .. course, Calgary is a 2 day drive (or more) from here ..

Could they stay in the motor home even if the tenants would not move out ?

I have taken a Zyrtec and smeared benadryl lotion. It is on both arms and legs. And now spreading to my tummy and back. It burns and itches like crazy.
No new meds and I have not touched anything that I know of.

Those dogs are beautiful. Congratulations on getting points for them.

Omg Lindakay, sounds very painful and itchy, you might have to go and get a shot..maybe something you ate? Any new plants in your gardens?

Back from my errands in the village. TH was quite annoyed with me for leaving them again so soon but all is forgiven now.

Just had a feeling I should stop in on Maryl this morning when I went out. Glad I did. She didn't look too well at dinner last night. She had an attack of vertigo early this morning and couldn't get herself up it was so bad.Nice thing about living in a rural area you tend to leave at least 1 door unlocked at all times. She is not going into Ktown to see her DH in ICU. I told her if something went south to call me and I will take her in. Got her into her recliner, gave her a gravol and that will put her to sleep for a bit. I called the hospital before I left and she talked to Ron so she feels comfortable staying home.

Going to laze around today - change of plans. The TH are really clingy (spoiled, spoiled pups) and they kept trying to lead me into the BR so they could lay on the bed while I read.

Glad Gord's appointment went well M. How is Lorna's leg today ?

The weather is glorious today but the WLs say rain tomorrow.

Lorna picked up another truck load of flowers today, has HALF planted .. my gosh .. no stopping her .. there's just her and her boss at work today as the fellas didn't like the rain for the first hour or 2 and thought it would last all day .. HELLO .. weather liars score again .. our predicted THUNDER storms is bright sun right now..
Her leg is fine and dandy :-) She's being really careful ..

Thanks for all the nice comments about my "kids". We really had a good time. Just got back from the doc. She said I have a hamstring injury, and to rest and ice it. She'll recheck next Tuesday, so we'll see. Klaus and Tyler are entered in a dog show this weekend. I was told to take it easy, maybe I can find someone else to show them.
Anxious to hear from Susan. Hope her tenants are finally gone.

Now I know who got the pretty dogs. I've got one behemoth bear and the other looks like an ewok with a terrible overbite and one or more extra toes on every leg. Can't look at her without smiling.

In the house to escape a passing lightening storm but have spent most of the day in the kitchen garden. The rain dance must have worked. Cool breezes temper the afternoon highs. Picked fresh herbs and greens for dinner. Sticking to simple meals while planting. Some tomatoes are flowering, beans are running and heat loving southern peas are sprouting.

Hope everyone is well. Linda Kay, have you been to the doc? Did you go to the gym before you broke out? Were you working in the garden/sun? It could be exercise induced urticaria. You might need a medrol pack.

Last time I was at the gym was set Friday. I was going to go today, but woke up with this rash/hives. Hubby went to get more anti itch meds. If it is not better on a few hours I will go to urgent care.

Been 2 hours .. checking back re Susan .. keeping her and Bob in my thoughts and prayers are with them ..

Took out the battery whipper snipper out for a run .. love it .. Not as professional as Lorna, but .. OK :-)

Did not much of anything except water my hanging baskets and play outside with the TH. The boys are quite tired tonight and have gone off to their night time spots. I see they did leave me a piece of the bed.

LK has your arm settled down any ?

OK need to rustle up something for dinner but I am not that hungry. Think I will have some fruit and if I feel peckish later will have a toasted crumpet.
