With all the electronics used to chart and get reports off to the right docs etc., there really shouldn't be a problem ...

Dianne .. I need Sharon's 'sleep angels' to visit me around 5am .. I waken then, and am up within 15 minutes!
I could stay in bed, but I just can't .. my mind gets active, and, off I go.

-15F here this morning (that's with the wind chill) .. AND, it looks like we got another 2-3" of snow .. have NO idea where we shall put it !

Want to take Lilly shopping as it's her 9th BDay tomorrow .. she's getting a new collar :-)
Guess I'll have to wait til the house wakens .. right now it's just Lilly and me :-)

No word yet, it is still early. They usually call in the afternoons. But that is OK, as long as I get a name today, tomorrow, I will be on the phone and one way or another, I will have an appointment soon! If the charm does not work, they better look out, they don't want to see my angry side. :)

I just 'laid it on the line' .. and, I had the ECHO at 9pm .. at that point I would have gone in at 2am I was in so much pain
Thing that blows my mind, is that it was such a big flippin deal for 48 hours, all was good, had the surgery, and, now no one can FIND the report ?!?!?!
Guess if they aren't worried I shouldn't be either ..

Dianne, nothing would make me happier than having tea with you in the early morning .. makes me feel peaceful ;-)

I had about 2 more inches to shovel, but, with the addition of the COLD it was not pleasant! Even the dogs were done after about 20 minutes.

Just home from picking up my new-to-me wheelchair - it's red......... now to put some racing stripes and flames on it
Bob likes to pop "wheelies" with me. This is a "push" wheelchair with small wheels. We just have to figure out how to lower the pedals. The way it is now, my knees come up too high. The Center gave it to us for no charge - neat, huh?

Brrrrr it is cold here and getting colder as the week goes on. I belong to a Rotti group on FB and 1 of the gals who lives in Australia was saying it was 42*C today.

The pups were very happy with the treats I bought them yesterday when I was out for lunch.`Diesel is sitting here looking at me with all 3 'bones' stuffed into his mouth. I don't give them real bones but a special blend of things that help keep their teeth clean. Oh gee whiz Duke just dropped a ball on the keyboard. There might be a few odd words I missed even with this 'wonderful' preview button.

Think tomorrow I will feel like getting more wood in and keeping a fire going. My left side has quite the array of bruises on it. My cleaning lady happened to see my arm today when she was here - she just about flipped.

M how wonderful you could have a 'girls' day out. I would have to have a hooligans day for me to take the TH. I am sure Piper was thrilled you remembered him - the TH love the Denta Bones but chew them up so fast I am not sure they do anything to clean their teeth. I found something at the small pet store in a village about 30 min from us. They are called Tartar Busters - the TH loooove them but they are very messy. They have to have them on the deck or downstairs on the tile floor..

LK I am sure you will stay on top of this - you have suffered too much to stay plaicent We will all be there with you.. One time they were going to refuse a surgery on my knee because I didn't have a new blood screen done. The one on file was less than 3 weeks old. Its not my fault the part broke in my knee. Interesting that was no worry about such things when I had emergency surgery.

You will have to get a red racing strip flag Susan to fasten on your wheels. Bob will be able to spot where you are with ease. Just ask Debbie. She had quite the time with her mom taking off on her.

Debbie I saw a cardinal pair today. Thought of you.

Betty I say thank you and the TH does too everyday when we trek though the fields and I have their liver snaps in that wonderful pouch you made the boys.

Oh Thunder I hope the crud is gone. Your kitchen angel hangs brightly in my kitchen.

OK need to decide what I will have for dinner. Michelina might just be the answer.

Shrove Tuesday folks. Who is having pancakes for dinner? We always had at home and Warren and I carried on the tradition of pancakes and sausages for dinner..

Dianne - I can't go anywhere on my own with this wheelchair - it's a transport chair, with tiny wheels, not one that I can wheel myself...

37 right now, will warm up to 80 today!

Morning all.

Still snowing but it is light and fluffy. I use my snow blower to keep the steps clear.

It was pitch black when I walked the boys at 6 am. Usually there is a bit of daylight shining through.

M made tea and you didn't come. lol

The TH are happily chewing on their rawhides. Means it is nice and quiet here except for some noisy chews.

LK thanks for asking. I decided to wait 1 more day before I haul wood around. My ribs are still pretty sore.... not as hard to catch my breath as it was last week.

It is still snowing here but it is light fluffy flakes Not a snow blower I use my leaf blower to move light snow.

.Chaos had a blast this morning running around catching flakes. His little face would light up when he caught one but then he got this look on his face like where did it go?.

I forgot to eat breakfast and lunch so will eat early tonight. I did have some clementines - they are really tasty this year.

Think I will read for a bit and maybe I will nod off for a bit.

It was -32F when I posted this morning ..maybe the ICE faerie stole it !

Did go to Mass for Ash Wednesday .. I'm sure the Priest was gob smacked to see me again as I had been there not long ago for my friends Moms Mass.

Lorna and I boogied on out to the Reserve for gas .. .72/L .. not sure what that is in gallons ..but, here it is CHEAP !!

DH had an ultra sound of his left shoulder .. has been pitching fit for about 10 weeks ... sure hope it shows something ..

Dianne, have always wanted to try the leaf blower thing, only thing is, ours is a back pack blower .. Lorna insists they are the best .. but .. for just blowing off fluffy snow, I tend to think an electric or battery one would be fine ..
Good to hear your ribs are better .. I feel yer pain .. fell flat on my back about 3 years ago while out walking Lilly .. I cracked a couple .. man is it painful !

Susan .. is your wchair the type that only moves if someone depresses the bar behind it ?
One of my patients a few years back, TIED the bar so the chair would move via foot power, BUT, he failed to worry about BRAKING !!

How'd you make out with the cardiologist LK?

Hi "M". I'm good here. Been busy getting my quilt ready to go to the quilter's. Decided to hand quilt the compass so I've worked on that a bit at a time. (As much as my hands let me LOL) and then I'm crocheting a blanket and sewing squares together for that. So I bounce from one to another depending on what part of me is being good!!!!

It is cold here too and getting colder this week thanks to an Arctic cold. (You notice I didn't say you sent it LOL) I won't be out at all for anything....

Glad to read you are feeling better Dianne and that your breathing is improving. It is no fun to have sore ribs..... Norm's nephew fell on the ice also and dislocated his shoulder very badly. I guess the docs had a hard time getting it back in iplace.

Off to make a hot cup of tea and warm up a bit. Why is it that when the sun doesn't shine, it feels colder?????

I have an appointment with the cardiologist on the 18th. Plenty of time to get it done before surgery.

Oh LK I am so glad you have your appt date with cardio settled.One less worry for you.

M you sound like my kind of day in Ktown. I only go in about once a month so I race around doing my banking, going to Pet Smart, WM and a couple of other grocery stores.

Barb couldn't agree more with M - it always seems colder and damp when it is overcast. Having so much water around me also makes it damper too. When the sun is out shining bright in the winter I automatically put on my long underwear 'cause I know I am going to need it.

M I pitched a hissy fit a couple of summers ago and went out and bought an electric lawn mower , an electric weed whacker plus an electric leaf blower. Warren always started the machines for me and then I used them. I got so upset trying to get everything going I just said that's it. The leaf blower I bought is far better than my gas powered one.- it also mulches the leaves as well as being able to blow snow off of the steps.

Snowed most of the day but it is light, fluffy flakes so not a huge accumulation . Chaos had a blast chasing snow flakes again. He is all tuckered out - fast asleep with his head on my leg.

Groan .. is it morning already !?

Because I knew I had to get up early, I woke about 2am and watched the clock change minutes to hours .. feel like a sac a doo doo right now.
BUT.. funny how the dogs KNOW when something is up .. all of them are cruising around .. Zoey will stay home with Lorna, but Piper and Lilly have already figured out there is a car ride in store for them .. they see the double leash, and, have heard us saying Becky's name (the groomer).

So .. best put on some slap, then some clothes and get ready to dash out to the garage and start the car .. it's -32F here, and I am LESS than impressed ..

lol, Back to bird sitting. Not easy to sew when Pegasus is in the next room calling and calling; Grandbird come to play! goodness he is relentless, roflol when that doesn't work he starts with you whoo; where are you? Flo remains who bratty little self..but she sure like to play in the fabric! Very cute. Kind of reminds me of Betty's Missy.

Ok I got to get Steve off to work.

It is not my birthday but thanks for the birthday wishes. Most people forget my BD as it is Dec 28. You all gave me a good chuckle.

OK folks hang onto your hats - I slept 6 hours last night with the help of a RX sleeper. Wooo Hooo. I am already going back for a nap. I take the Rx meds sparingly as i know they will make me sleepy the next day as well.

See the ENT tomorrow but don't expect any new info as he said the Elavil is about the only thing that will help.I'm good with that now if I could get the vertigo under conrol I would be a very happy camper.

Bitter cold here the TH did not want to go for a walk. I agreed as soon as I put my head out the door.

We will all want you to show us a pic of you in your new dress Judy.

Have fun running around M I'll be doing the same tomorrow after I see ADr. Jones. Hope Gord's visit brings good news.

OK I need to see about something to eat. One cannot live on clementines alone.
