My hips is still bothering me, but I will make do, until February when I have my surgery. I don't wish time would go quicker, but I can't wait till it gets here.

I'm with all of you in not liking the change. Technology is going just too fast for me and I sure can get confused easy. I'll wait and see what happens before deciding whether I should renew or not.

Bad design, and format, hard to navigate, hard to read. It's like Yahoo format for those group chat rooms. Not smart at all. Dumb. I won't be renewing my membership. Yes I'm mad. Can't see anything but stupid adds.

Intruder alert - forgive me - taynor - but someone here alerted me to go to My Preferences where you can choose not to have ads. It may leave a gray space, but no ads. On Chair (where I regularly hang out) I did that and it worked. I am aware, however, that ads pay the bills on DG, so I understand why they try to get us to look at them (our little subscription fee is too small to be very valuable to them). Anyway, try looking at your preferences and see if you can find the checkbox to block. Good luck!

Lots of excitement here today, and not the good kind. We were out grocery shopping, and when we returned, it looked like Marcel's car leaving. We were home for 10 min, and suddenly Bang, Bang, Bang on the windows & doors, he tried to open our door (twice) and come in, and phoned and phoned...... I called 911 and the police came. Marcel had been banging on windows & doors while I was talking to 911 and they heard, so they sent the police from the other side of the city, speeding. After 20 min of banging, the police arrived and spoke to Marcel & Carolyn - told them that there is a proper way to serve documents (case is being heard on Monday) and that this was NOT the way. Told them they are not to contact us again, and if they do, charges will be pressed. The police could not give us the documents, so they had Carolyn bring them, and they stood between us so there was no problem.
I'm still shaking, and this was 2 hours ago.........

Go to Adblock plus and no more ads anywhere. I do hate this new format too, really confuses me. I hate change too. As soon as I get used to one way everyone changes it..

Susan, hope this is all resolved on Monday. I think Marcel & Carolyn deserve some jail time for all they put you through. Saying a prayer so all goes well.

I guess we won't be having a Christmas this year since my younger sister is in New York with her son & family and my sister-in-law & brother aren't in the mood, emotionally & financially. She said she told her kids and they agree. Good news though, the swelling in my brother's feet is going down, but still hurt to walk. Still going to do more testing, hope the new year has better news.

Hello, Susan and everyone. No, I'm not new. Have been around a long time - just do not have much to say. What little I do say is usually on Chair, but I feel like I know a lot of people on other threads from reading the threads. I do not like to intrude on a group that has bonded over the years. Thanks for letting me peep in. Hope it all works out on DG - I'm sticking to the bitter end, whatever and whenever that may be.

I think I'm getting lost somewhere along the line.

An on-line friend (we play in pogo) from Canada came to visit with my friend and we went to meet up with her & hubby. What a great day! Got so much gabbing in we didn't get home until midnight. I wasn't too thrilled about going so far (I hate the freeways) but so glad I did.

I just hope I can get used to this or may have to quit. Very confusing!!

What is everyone doing for Christmas?

I am going to have both my sons and families here. 13 in all. Looking forward to having here. They arrive Tuesday.

We are finally getting a little rain. Wonder what is happening to all the outdoor decorations I see on my walks with Mandy. Not having much of a Christmas, but will probably go out to my friend's for the day. She just lost her husband and I completely understand not celebrating this holiday.

I see they have made a tiny correction. Maybe by next Christmas it will be navigable.

I'm not having any problems....is everything fixed? I don't see ads anywhere, but I may have already set it up that way.

I'm only here because I've been chatting with Barbara, she ordered some Reed Diffusers. I've never made these before and do have to say they are pretty fragrant lol

We are getting some very much needed rain and snow, all the fish ponds are overflowing and the water trough is half full so that's about 50 gallons whoo hooo, plus Harlee's swimming pool is filling up. Need to get some water barrels so I can save it for summer.
Still selling candles a little here and there. Posted them on a FB Craft and Bake sale for my area yesterday and made $100 within an hour!! How Sweet is that? Still have tons so if anybody needs or wants any hit me up

Still don't like the layout here and there are ads all over my page!! An ad between every tenth plus the whole right side

Still getting lost. I don't get ads because I have AdblockPlus, but this new setup isn't working well for me.

Sun is shinning, a little cool and no more rain yet. I sure do miss Jaye, I hope she is doing better. Prayers for all my sisters.

Thanks LK, did it :) This Christmas is not going to be a very cheerful one :( My granddaughter is sick with the strep virus again, started running high temps over the weekend, My son in law had another Chron's disease flare up so he's been in bed for a few days. My mom has lost all interest in everything. Tonight is bowling party and she's not even making her chili casserole that everybody loves. All she does is sit and watch tv all day. I have tried to interest her in things she used to like doing and she just won't do anything. All this is starting to take a toll on me. I need to get away for a few days but it's not the right time. My niece and great nephew are coming down from Idaho and will spend Christmas day with us so that will be nice.

Thank you Linda, we are getting some rain, which I should be happy about. Got a $200 check from my sister in Minnesota and a $50 one from my sister who is helping her family in New York this Christmas. One thing I am going to do is have a couple rings enlarged or my knuckle made a little smaller. LOL Invited to my friend's for Christmas. I really think she should move a lot closer to me.

Always nice to have some spending money. I would go for having the ring enlarged, having your knuckles shaved down would hurt for awhile. :)

There are other things that aren't working either................Have any of you notice that when you are on the home page the SI forum never changes to show that someone made a post. Cindy, make sure you click on the watch at the top. It is a bug they are still working on.

I finally figured to click on watch so my posts come up. Now I got that one figured out I'm working on the rest. Don't go away Cindy, lets give them a little more time to fix all of it for us.

We had very high winds through the night, many trees down. Power went off about 9:30 this morning and was off for 6 hours. Joined most of our neighbors for lunch at the local eatery. Now I have to fix a dinner.
