Hi, Happy Thanksgiving.

House is clean, again-lol my job for the day is done.
I hope everyone has wonderful day with family and friends.

We have most everything in the oven...Steve and Jake are the Chefs, Julia and Sabrina both making a dish. We have 15 coming for dinner plus stragglers, (kids friends).

And guess who arrived on Tues....My Brother Johnny (Bo)!! lol I'm doing his laundry, he came from work and forgot all his stuff. He took down one big dead tree and will work the next one Sat. So having a good visit, MIL will be so thrilled, she just loves the heck out of him.

So damp in here I just put fireplace on..got all but 1/2 od final side hand sewn on the snowflake swap I was in that Missy worked herself into the piece,sound asleep..how can one make her ove..maybeiwillcuddleunder the throw wither, can sew the rest later.

Thank you, LK - I have my highliter out, and am marking SO many of their delusional comments, and obvious lies lol They are being so weird. Says they have a recording of us while in their place on the 31st - will show Cher's jacket (RCAC - Royal Canadian Air Cadets, not City of Calgary employee lol) and will also have it recorded where I ask if in the closed room the baby is sleeping, him saying "yes" and me saying "I won't disturb the baby then".
He recorded our neighbour Alain without his permission, and Marcel saying that we didn't deliver the documents in person (we don't have to, if they're evading us). Also, he's presenting documents where he had to have had the original documents in order to contact City and other departments in order to query them about stuff, but yet he says he didn't have the documents?
He's saying the constable is related to us, and a racist bigot, and came to investigate a B&E? This boy needs meds, and he needs them now & strong........ He's provided us pictures that make our case stronger, and they're more numerous and better than ours.
This is going to be interesting to see if he holds his temper tomorrow. If he doesn't, he may be kicked out of the hearing - the Officer has that right, and apparently he hasn't been reading the documents provided by RTDRS (method of delivering the documents is clearly stated that he doesn't have to receive them personally, for instance)

What time is the hearing tomorrow Susan?

Yikes, young man that came and did the leaves dropped in as he said he would after all the work was done, I asked how much, said he did all the eaves throughs, cut down all the branches that were overhanging and the roof, Drats I not very observant, they did this the weekend I was in Buffalo but I should have noticed..thrilled with the work, told him to put me on the list for next year!

DH is having a bad day today ... his hand is OK, but, he is very sore and weak .. especially his shoulders . meds don't even help ..

Tomorrow the repairman comes to give the oven CPR or whatever to revive it .. only 5 years old .. I do think it's an element ..

I asked if superstore had a wall mount and attendant said no, young man behind me said Jisk (?) in Barrie have them off this weekend for 50%

Thinking as its a gorgeous day I might take a run to Barrie and pick up Jeff's knife, visit Fabric shop, go pick up wall mount and who know ps might hit a mall that way tomorrow is free

Today is a day re reorganize myself in the fabric department, will organize and cut into sizes

Gals that just started sewing would love to do Christmas stockings so will cut all smaller pieces in 2 1/2 inch squares

That is a lot of scraps. I know the women will enjoy making a stocking.

Me too Linda, might check out Cyber Mon. when we get back home. I'll have all the kids lists by then too. Every year they all know I need their lists by our Thanksgiving.

They will Lindakay and that way they will not have to worry about having scraps for the stockings..about cut a whole bag full, will take them upstairs and put enough in a ziplock for a stocking and will add backing and batting

Then I've kept some strips out should someone want to do the Christmas tree runner

Way of making use of them..did say before I cut up new fabric I'd have to rid myself of the scraps..trying my best😜

How did your appointments go yesterday?

Girlfriend Diane dropped in today, we had a nice visit..why is it when my craft room is clean no one comes, I had my scraps all over the floor, look like heck and here I get company grrr

Nephew called to see if my mom arrived..hmm she didn't call to say she was coming, I will leave a note for her should I leave before she gets here

Back home - the hearing did not go forth, because we did not hand deliver the documents to him in time. We were to have made several attempts, but he didn't actually admit to receiving them until this Tuesday, not 3 clear days before the hearing.
So we will have the new hearing on December 14th at 1:30 pm.

Not good news Susan, her you were so sure you adhered to requirements..now a few more weeks,..likely you are beyond yourself..thought paperwork said you didn't have to have them hand delivered? Now he is aware right..these kind of people know ins and outs, likely next time it will be another loophole

The repair guy found out it was the 'igniter' .. he had one .. pulled it out of it's plastic bag, and, POOOF, dropped it on the floor and, it broke .. he didn't have another one, he'll be back NEXT WEEK !
SIGH .. crock pot cooking for a bit longer ..

SO .. I get online to book our flights and room for January 11-15 .. did it all .. GREAT price as it's a BLACK FRIDAY sale ..
Airfare and room for $600. each (at the Chelsea Betty)
Filled in the credit card info .. and hit 'BOOK' .. last I have heard :-(

Susan, I thought you had a witness when it was delivered? So sorry it has been delayed.

It was 72 just about 2 hours ago, now it is 50 and windy.

Did you get an email confirmation?

Phoned the airline .. they had no record of my having booked .. which. I think, is a good thing ..
SO .. I booked it with their travel agent and, it's all good .. .. but, I will be vigilant with watching the credit card ..

Betty .. have you heard, or know, of anyone who has gone to the Ripleys Aquarium? I think we might visit it on the Monday ..

I received my Santa Warren box today from Liz!!!! Just wonderful and I'm floored with what she sent. Pictures tomorrow but here is what I got. Two lovely Christmas hand towels - one with a snowman and one of winter trees. A container of eight various scented hand creams. A lovely manicure set. A bag of Timmies coffee which we both just love and most surprising of all - a gift card to my favorite quilt shop which is in Henniker NH. How did you pull that one off Liz???? I was and still am most amazed!!!! I will get pictures tomorrow.

On a somber note, may I ask for prayers for my brother. He is quite ill with emphysema and has prostrate cancer. He is down to only 116 pounds and we are trying so hard to "fatten him up" a bit before they can do surgery. I am going to see him tomorrow - almost afraid......

Please everyone - I know you could all say "I told you so", but please don't.
We're trying hard to get on with our lives for the next 2 weeks plus 2 days......

Susan, I do not think anyone here is interested in saying I told you so. I feel we all just want to see you and Bob back in your home and afforded the opportunity to resume the life you had before Kel came into the picture.

Hopefully in a couple weeks time that will happen. We can all but cross our fingers and say a prayer that things will, at that time be put to rest.
