There were lots of articles on fibromyalgia also. It was so over-diagnosed that the folks that actually suffer from it are often laughed at and told "it is all in their mind".
A friend of mine was told she was just depressed and needed to get out in the sunlight more... she was given anti- depressants for years and nearly stopped leaving her house. Her old Dr retired and her new Dr spent 30 minutes with her, sent her to the hospital and she had a series of tests, diagnosis...Multiple Sclerosis. Unfortunately it was so advanced that she wound up in a wheel chair a few months later.

Morning ... snowy morning .. if it continues, it'll be lots !
First physio apt for Gord, will be leaving for the city soon ..
We FOUND the brown paper!! Gift is wrapped, will send it south today ,, YAY ..
Dianne, I would have wrapped it like you do, but, once it arrives at its destination you'll know why I couldn't''t :-)
Have seen many 'women' with concurrent admission Dx of 'depression', or 'mental faigue' .. never fails .. there is usually something nefarious going on in their immune system .. but .. depression is just so much easier to throw a pill at .. now, not ALL are misdiagnosed, some truly are depressed, and, they do well on a medication ..
Washed my hair before I went to bed ! OMG .. I sure have some FIXIN to do !
Plus, I have to find my cell phone .. been phoning it, and, near as I can tell it's in a coat pocket, somewhere ..

Morning everyone. I went to bed at 9 last night and got up at 6:30. I have not slept that long, in a long time and it felt good. I need to get a hot shower and go get a few things. Nothing else happening here today.
Morning all
Wonderful news Lindakay, you will feel like a new woman today.
"m" hope they don't work Gord's hand too much and start the pain, he has been blessed not to have had a lot of pain so far.
It's a glorious white sunshine day here..hard to believe by Thursday it will be in the 50's
I also have nothing to do today so promised myself the snowflake throw will be completed today and out on back bedroom bed!
They snow sure makes for a beautiful picture, but you can keep it there.

I love those kids. Where did you get them?
Not sure where I bought them..have had them a good 10 years
They're adorable. Better looking than Cabbage Patch kids lol
Maybe you got them as a kit and made them up, or someone made them for you? They're adorable, regardless
WE HAVE LIFT OFF :-)
The UPS 'sky sleigh' is on it's way, to warmer temps !!

My great great niece was born today (Nov 23) at 1:31 am - Nora Winn Olson, 6 lbs 7oz, the day after Alice's birthday (Nov 22). Heather was in labour since 3am Nov 22, and they finally had to induce her. She's 3 weeks early, but everyone's doing great.
Her great great granddad, Glen is still in the hospital (cancer surgery) about 20 blocks away, and will be released once he sits up properly and walks. Alice would have loved to see her first great great granddaughter, but it wasn't to be.
Awe, Nora is a sweetie! Congrats!
Thank you:-)
I have a knitting question - anyone up for it?
Here it is - in Row 69 (setting up the handle), I knit the 15, purled the 30, and set the next 30 on a holder. Then it says to turn the piece and cast off 30. Are they talking about the next 30, or the 30 I purled? Because if I turn the piece and it's on a circular needle knitting in the round, I'm casting the 30 I purled. Maybe I should be casting off the NEXT 30?
