Ramen noodle pizza! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7fzkfKSlRE

Victoria Harbour, ON

Pooh no, their visit is a fun visit..

Kyle just dropped in, was heading to work, think I told you he changed dealership, now working in Barrie..he's on the 3-9pm schedule and his girlfriend changed her university studies to Barrie as well, anyway they said they'd come and help if need be.

I had a old decorative dress that hung from the cabinet in my front entrance, sun bleached it, put it away so that I could buy blue/off white check fabric and redo it and never did, must, so I cut out a fall one and was sewing

Glad I wasn't napping, seems everytime someone visits I've been napping

Betty .. how is Noah doing? Is he back to school?

Our DS turn for a little rabble rousing teenager :-(
Brooklyn is being 'mouthy' .. so .. if she doesn't clean up her act, she'll be staying home from the family trip to Cuba in January .. so far, so good, I tend to think she was hanging around OLDER kids ..

Clouded over here .. ac has not been on in a bit ..

BIG NEWS .. fingers crossed, and best wishes from all in hopes Lorna has won the award for her gardens .. a lady from the Horti club brought a letter to the cemetery today .. the meeting, awards, to be handed out this Thursday .. we'll be there in anticipation that she has .. she SO deserves it ..

Susan, that recipe looks very 'doable' :-)
Gonna try it .. need sauce though

Off to shower, then BQ some chicken breasts ..

DANG house flies !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

~M~

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Congratulations to Lorna. She truly deserves that award.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

funny you should mention Noah, Marilynne, I was just thinking of him today and wondering how he's doing.

I have some noodles and tomato sauce (not pizza sauce, but will just add spices.....). Don't have the "fixings" though... suppose anything will do for pizza lol

I'm praying that Lorna gets the Big Prize!!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Noah is still working but school is going through curriculum to fit in the 3 credits he needs for his grade twelve, that and add in a co-op and he will have his certificate.

Here is hoping this kids outgrow this troublesome time.

Hurrah, wouldn't that be something if Lorna gets the award..is it for a district? Thursday is a long way away, everyone will be on pins and needles till then for sure.

Might just try that recipe Susan, like quick and easy, I usually stay to the tried but true as I'm not the best cook but as "M" says it's doable

Hard to believe the day is almost over, trying to cknvince myself to go out and cut grass, not sure I'm doing a good job

Victoria Harbour, ON

Susan, I was quite content to just have sandwhiches and corn for supper, you've made me hungry..

The pizzeria next door has many kinds of pizza's made for lunch/supper so I will take a walk over

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

Darn....... I just broke a Christmas ornament that used to adorn my parent's Christmas tree, back in the 1950's..... or maybe before.... :-(

Really disappointing when you break one of your treasures. I've been there and done that too.

OMG, Hawaiian pizza sounds so good. Things I didn't try because DH didn't like them. Got to grab that can of pineapple I've been saving for so long and sit and enjoy it.

Should I be using my dishwasher, haven't used it in so long and now because of the water shortage I don't want to start it up. I heard the seals can dry out and sure don't want to ruin a perfectly good dishwasher. I guess I can take all my dishes out of cupboards and give them a good cleaning.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Pegi, it can happen that the seal dries out..wouldn't hurt to run a small load just so you won't have to worry about it.

Pineapple, one of my favourites, yep get that can out.

Are you anywhere near those horrible fires?

Thunder Bay Ontario, ON(Zone 3a)

Clunkety. clunk BOOM
Marilynne has gone horizontal ..

Night , night all

Boy, am I pooped! But the outside is ready. We have the chairs all set and 3 tables and two card tables. One of the tables is for whoever doesn't want to hold their plate in their lap.

Now in the morning I have to finish up the inside and make the ice cream. Wish me luck!!

Yay, Lorna!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

You are making ice cream?

(thunder)Wildwood, FL(Zone 9a)

Betty, i love the fall decor !! How come you need to rake apples?? why don't you make crab apple jelly??? sure wish I had some right now, with a piece of cinnamon swirl toast...

Susan, sorry about the ornament.

M, best wishes for Lorna's gardens.

Hugs to Y'all

Apples from the tree are pretty tiny, took me hours just to make a few batches of applesauce for cakes. Although ground is covered each branch is laden with more.

Joyce enjoy today, sure hoping no rain in the forecast!

"m" hope you are sawing logs

Thunder Bay Ontario, ON(Zone 3a)

AS well, thanks for all the crossed fingers and hopes and best wishes for Lorna on Thursday evening ..kinda exciting ..

Our apples are larger .. and, as such, much more attractive to the bears and deer .. as soon as the weather cools down a bit, we'll be bringing in more .. right now it TOMATOES .. lawsie, did we get a lot from he plants .. going grocery shopping today to pick up a few things so I can make sauce.

Love all the Halloween /fall décor items Betty .. my fave time of year ..

Morning all,

Just want to say welcome to my home Lindakay..had the best dream, Lindakay arrived unexpected, spent the night at Toronto hotel $129' cab $140..no sooner arrived that most of family and friends dropped in, what a time we had, then I woke up, Drats, I should have slept another few hours, no telling what we would have gotten into.

"m" haven't taken out Halloween yet, just pumpkins..think it's a tad early for the other yes/no?
Is it chilli sauce you make? Sounds as though you do mega canning..
I still have several jars of chilli sauce left from last year, should ask the boys if they need more, it's that time isn't it.. I did want to do beets though.

Barb, did you get all your purses made or will you put off doing them in order to do blocks..nice to have fall weather isn't it, you feel so much better health wise..we still are going to have a few hot days next week.

Joyce enjoy your gathering, here is hoping you make mega spending $$ for your trip, Canada needs them. Lol

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

I'll be home tomorrow and mighty glad of it. This trip has been nice I loved the time with my cousin. But guess I am getting old, I want to just be home.
Thunder , what exciting news, congrats to all.
Fingers and all else I can cross for Lorna, she works so hard and well deserves it.

That's not good "M"
Know what you mean by busy, heavy schedule right through to November, come winter we will be looking for things to do as well be bored having to stay inside!

What are you taking for it?

I put in a full day and come 6pm I wane out, by 7pm looking for my bed..oh dear, what ever shall I do when the girls come next week, they will have to keep me busy so I stay awake..of course would help IF I slept more than 3 hours in a row

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

It sounds like you have a pinched nerve. My chiropractor is really good at adjusting things when I get that.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

There are some really great people on some really great websites in Calgary.
I belong to 9 of them - "Calgary Cares" and "Albertans Helping Albertans" are two of them. One one, I got some white boardroom easel paper for packing, and someone else brought me some boxes for packing. I'm set now. Sure is a lot better than paying some company for boxes and packing material! And the paper is better than having black ink all over my dishes, causing me to wash them when I unpack!!
