i'm ok. can't shake this headache I've had for days. trying to find a wallet case for my phone. finally found one on amazon. don't know why I didn't think of them in the first place.

called my husband and told him to take the 4th off, so we could spend more time at sissy cookies house!

Got over the cold, and now it's kidney infection. Not a happy camper. Lots of cranberries.. juice and dried fruits.
But I have been productive at the sewing machine while waiting for my truck to be fixed.

I took Remy to get groomed today, and Boy does he look different - almost don't recognize him as the same dog.....

Still hanging I Need! 3 of the caterpillars have moved to the top of the hamper. My friend told me that's where hers went to spin the chrysalis. This is so fun to watch! Almost better than an aquarium!

I hope those don't show upside down. I don't know why my iPad does that!!

Remy looks adorable.

The caterpillars will attach and make a J shape, after a while they will shed into their chrysalis. Mark your calendar 7 - 10 days until they emerge.

Karen, I can't tell you how excited I am! Can I wait until they're all butterflies before setting free?

The groomer said he'd be back to pre-groomed state by Christmas. So, if they like it, they'll have him done again. If they don't - Tough - it was better for Remy to be able to see!!

I thought I was going to have to take computer in to the Geek Squad. The tech couldn't even help me because nothing would connect. Even my home page said it couldn't find the page. I could get into computer but no e-mail, etc. This morning was going to unplug computer & have son take me to Best Buy. Just one more time I turned it on before pulling plugs and everything started working perfect. Got my mail and all my web sites & my pogo ad it stopped running so slow. Happy as can be now. I was even thinking about going to the library to use theirs while mine was in the shop. Is this one of my miracles? Just hope I don't run into any other problems.

Still hot here, but cool when Mandy & I go for a walk. Got a new application from the city to qualify for a grant to get a plumbing project fixed. I better get it filled out and all the info they want so I can call to be approved. I have no problem qualifying for it, just so they don't run out of money before my name come up.

Yes Joyce, you can release them all at the same time. After they start hatching, put in a small dish with a bit of sugar water, a slice of orange, and a bit of jelly. Nectar is all the butterflies eat after emerging.

so cool to be part of a hatching process! I'm waiting patiently for pics... My cousin works at a camp shack in a state park, she's been posting pics of butterflies coming in the shack and perching on her fingers!
Samigal... I had the same thing on my computer 3 days ago! Hubby went over everything and still couldn't figure out why I couldn't connect, so he just reloaded Win7 for me today.. what a pain! I'm still moving and reloading stuff...

gonna take 3-5 days for the part to my dishwasher. the surge from the storm burned out the cicut breaker.
start back to the gym tomorrow. no moresleeping in. going to Georgia to see Michael thursday

Pegi sometimes when the computer starts all that weird stuff if you unplug it and leave if off a while it will start right back up right.

Jaye I will never be completely free of the machine. I will be hooked to it 10 or so hours a night.

Ernie, I was going to unplug computer and wait a while before turning it back on. I''m glad it righted itself. I'll know what to do next time anything like that happens. Thanks for the idea.

Now if I could do the same with my dvd/vhs machine. The vhs works, but the dvd player keeps telling me they can't read the disc.

Pegi, if you have an older player, they do not recognize the newer DVD like blueray.

LK - no, they never paid us for getting Remy groomed, but a good one was recommended - $40 - and he SO needed it to be done. It's like he has eyes, and can see now. I told her that I would treat him as well as though he was my own, and I know she won't pay for it, but he got the whole pkg for a very inexpensive price, by someone my neighbour (of nine years) recommended.

I may have to invest in a new dvd player then. Just put that on my list.

Temps. are back up again, in the high 90's. Sometimes I wonder if cool weather will come again.

Where Bob works - they're downsizing cuz they've lost some contracts - none that Bob worked on, in fact, the one that he worked on and they were going to lose - Bob saved it!!
Bob's co-worker, Ker (that was our landlord before) says he's going to try to work closer to home. Stay with the company, but work at the client's buildings, and give the job of Warehouse Manager to Bob! Hope this isn't another of Ker's "lines"......... he's awfully good at getting people's hopes up, then we find out he's lying

With Ker it seems seeing is believing, and maybe even then wait a bit to be sure.

MIL is out of hospital......no one told me until Tuesday and it was savannah!!.
Got the new car, it's ised. I have a car payment. Could be worse.

Been crazy busy with the kiddies!! We are filled up! Yay!! 14 kids and mostly BOYS!!! We have 3 girls right now and two will be leaving in a couple of months :( then we may get two more not a for sure thing yet.

Hot again, but that is nothing new. Just can't seem to do much when weather stays this way.

Renfrew church contacted us today (did, the other day too, but Bob refused, because of the way we left, back in Sept), and asked on behalf of the Day Care teacher if Bob would clean the floors of the downstairs hall. Because it's for Melanie, he will. We could sure use the funds! And it has nothing to do with the church. They've emailed their appreciation, though :-D
