Taking mom to get results of MRI and CT scan from yesterday. Hope they get something done asap she is not feeling good at all and the pain is so intense it makes her dizzy.

So I left my biker FB page, and was really surprised that Ron noticed right away! He sent me a text saying "Why did you take your profile down, don't you love me anymore, lol " So I wrote back and said "Didn't think you'd notice" He writes back "Really Cindy" So I then wrote him a long message telling him how I felt and how he hurt my feelings. Haven't heard back so I hope he is feeling like an ass LOL

Good for you Cindy, He needs to know he didn't do right by you. See he had no clue he was being a jerk.

Gosh, my godson is 31 today! He lives in Indiana, and our bond isn't as strong as I want it to be after his marriage. Pre teen, it's always Nanny this or Nanny that. Cajuns call their godmothers Nanny.
Then when he grows into adulthood, it's meager calls.. only to thank me for his b;day money.
After marriage, and I can't anymore, i am out of his mind. But I still love him and remember the whiny kid he was once. I can't imagine him being a father now.
His father is Iranian and mother from Louisiana. Met them when they were my neighbours. Susie would never travel to Iran for fear of being held there, whereas Sia returns every year. He is one devoted father and grandfather. Last time I saw them was 16 years ago.
Now we keep in touch through Facebook.

You know how I kept saying how God slowly reveals to me his deceits.
Kel kept saying he is working with a coworker called Norris, on his p/t jobs. I seriously doubted that and I told him that.
Yesterday afternoon Norris called looking for Kelvin and before I can answer, he asked at what time Kel is supposed to be home. Now sisters, if they're working together wouldn't Norris know his whereabouts?
Norris was shocked when I said eleven pm and that I thought they are working extra jobs together!
When Kelvin came home, I told him about Norris' call, gave Kel his phone number and just cried and cried not over his deceits but his denials that it was the same Norris. Said there are other Norrises!! He will be in one deep shit when he goes back to regular prison work, facing Norris there and having to explain his lies.
God has already moved the captain and the sargeant that had taken his side to another shift!!
God now has moved three co workers to 'know' me better.. the new sargeant, the new captain and now Norris.

I am taking pleasure that Kel hates the working condition with his new superiors. They watch him like a hawk, and no longer the golden boy. As for the whore, according to someone, she is placed AWAY from the male co workers, working by herself.
Kelvin is still waiting on his 'promotion' where he'd be away from the building and specialize in recruitment. He doesn't believe in God's will.

Oh my goodness Jayegirl I just laugh out loud at how dumb and slow some men are (No offense Ernie). The things I went through with Rick, Doug and now Ron just proves that "When GOD was handing out brains, they thought she said trains and hopped on a slow one" :)

Mom is going to be just fine!!! Just a severe case of arthritis. Seems she fractured her neck between the base of her skull and upper neck. And not knowing and getting treatment, caused it to not heal right. So there is some "crowding" which is the main cause of pain. Gave her some strong pain pills to take for 7 days, then ordered a pain management for some trigger shots. She was very happy to hear that because she is anxious to get back to bowling, lol

Your mum feels better and she immediately looks forward to bowling!! My, she must really enjoy her friends. Good for her!
I am sure Brother Ernie isn't offended Cindy. He is one of the rare gents.

LK, she has been bowling for over 40 yrs and was bowling 3 times a week. Still have 3 weeks before it starts so I'm sure by then she will be as good as new

Not much going on at this part of town. Just wondering where I should start on my clutter. It is so hard to get rid of things I've held on to for years. I don't miss the things I did manage to send off to Good Will.

Never an easy task to clean and purge old stuff. Just start in on room, and go from there.

Yeah I need to go through my crafting and get rid of things. I just don't do all of it anymore. I mainly just make soy candles, paint and sew once in a blue moon. I think it's because I can't sit for long periods of time anymore :( Besides I have this day care to keep me busy and weekends I want to ride (if some guy should happen to ask me) or work in gardens which need it badly.
Trying to get things done just in case we do have an El Nino.

I wrote a short novel, reread it and decided to delete it.

Soon there will be a corner in my back yard, an electronic grave yard.
Kelvin had amassed used electronics from Goodwill during his crazy shopping days with the whore, influenced by her as he doesn't touch used stuffs.
They are truly not worth checking out. Better I get rid of them, and I know he won't miss them as he's seldom home.

Going to do the same thing last night before bed. Take an extra anti depressant, down some cherry liquer with it (in moderation) and sleep off a cold.

Yep another night I'll miss bible study. You can have church at home, but the fellowship is what I sought after. Moreover, it's my happy place too.

Couldn't stay idle yesterday, did an extra block for the quilt block swap and today, I'll be attempting another for Betty.

My right hand's circulation has decreased and I started to wear a garden glove with grip pad, and even slept with it. This morning, it is almost warm.
That's one bad effect of diabetes, Damaged nerves. Anyone has any suggestion as how I can reverse that?

Brother Ernie, praying here that the treatments are working for you. It will soon be fall, and I am thinking, you are due for a fishing trip, aren't you?

I face these cats lined up walls, and they are my physical confidants here. The few friends that live in Tabor, all work, and have families.
Though they care about me, very rarely I'll take the drive just to unload. Now without a vehicle for weeks, again it's imposed isolation.
Neither do I seek attention at church.
You could say, I do bottle things up, but it's from circumstances.
Back in Louisiana, there's this circle of friends living closeby, and I am never short of a shoulder.
If I had a crystal ball, I won't have this address!! Oh well, Lord knows what He is doing!

I take Lyrica for my diabetic nerve pain. Mine is not in my hands though it is in my feet. It really helps me.

Lyrica didn't work for me Brother Ernie. I am supposed to switch to Neurotin, but I cannot afford the next visit for that prescription to be wriiten. Used to be prescriptions are written for a whole year, but since a corporate hospital bought out my doc's practice, now it's only good for two months. Anything to ensure profits!
Nerve damage started with my feet now it's my right hand.

Hi - back from camping - Monday night after we went to sleep it was raining hard, then didn't start raining again until last night - lovely days for walks, Bob, Remy & I. He's settling down quite a bit and doesn't pull on the leash as much. I can handle walking with him now :-)

Still no surgery date Ernie. I hope to get some answers next week from the Dr.

We are going out to the farm I love so much, tomorrow. A long drive and of course I'm always glad to get back home. Going from there to visit friend with new puppy. I'm bringing my Mandy along to see how they get along. Mandy is so much better on a leach, but I still wouldn't let her off of it. Too old to be chasing a dog down the street. I'm gathering up some gardening books to take along, some of my clutter. I don't just want to get rid of them if someone would appreciate them.

Evening all, nothing eventful happening today, same new.. same new.

Living in the country, there are farms around me, and one that is not your usual one, is a pygmy goat farm, ran by Kel's HS friend.
I had fun watching those goats at play, they were too cute and undoubtedly sold as pets.
The goat rancher even created a playground for them, with see-saws and tire=tunnels.

You needed that break Susan.

Didn't cook anything tonight. He is still not home from his mystery jaunts, he would just have to scramble some eggs himself.

I will try to go to church tomorrow, if he lets me use the truck. God will make a way :D

I've been missing for a while...just busy. Not a good excuse I know. I haven't read all, but Sue asked me to update you on her MIL.

Her text to me yesterday..."Grace is not doing well. She has a fractured bone in her back. Fluid in her legs. She is in lots of pain. She also fell last week. She went to the hospital and is still there. Dr. thinks she may have had a mini stroke. Hoping the best for her. Could you send out a prayer for her on the Sistah groups?"...

So please add Grace to you prayers

Susan, this farm doesn't have cows, pigs, etc. just a few chickens. They have a Christmas tree lot, pumpkin patch and lots and lots of open space. Julie is passionate about flowers and has started a butterfly garden and it is so great. Main income comes from bee hives, just too much work for an old lady. She has a 2-3 year old California Oak that she has dedicated to Darwin. They dug a hole and we put the small box with some of Darwin's ashes in it. I tried to get a picture but it didn't happen. It will be years before the tree is big and sad to say I probably won't be around to see if grown up. I'm sure Darwin will enjoyed being part of their place.

My Mandy was not happy to be out there with big dogs, She was scared because they chased her around. She stayed really close to us. Thought she would be happier out to my friend's with the new puppy, but wasn't happy there either. That puppy is a whirlwind, can't stay still for any length of time Hope he grows out of that soon as he is driving her crazy. Mandy and I are glad to be home where we can relax. She says he is so cute when he is sleeping and I sure can understand that. I'm taking a day to relax, but had to take a pain pill for my back. Too much for me too yesterday.

Good morning ah I am free of my umbilical cord the machine was flawless last night it never missed a beat.

The smoke from Twisp and lake Chelan really smoked us up last night. This mornings sun rise was eerie. As the crow flies Twisp must only be 30 =40 miles due east of us. Chelan is farther and to the SE. high winds are sending us all the smoke. They can keep the flames over there and we can put up with the smoke.

James got locked out of the rec room last night he is a smart boy he barked and barked until Linda got up and rescued him. He was not her boy at the moment.

I'm having fun collecting Monarch caterpillars! If all the caterpillars turn in to beautiful Monarchs I'll be helping restore their numbers for sure!

They've been missing from here for a few years now. I planted my milkweed last year but didn't see even one Monarch. I saw a Monarch this year, but I didn't think it had found my plants. Evidently, she did!! YAY!
