Oh my gosh! What a neat photo!! That is a real keepsake.
Best/Worse//What did I learn today?chat with friends old&new
Well now let's guess
Oh Betty - how wonderful!! Which pretty little girl are you?
Take a guess Susan..will send out a little token to winner.
Need something to keep me occupied
Are you in the front row?
2nd from the left?
I say that, because it is the only one with the veil pulled to the front. All others have it hanging down the back.
Are you saying I was a rebel in grade 1. Lol
1st row-end from the left...nope, not me
Nope, just being different.
Believe me I was. Lol
Sad I never did put names behind the photo', went 10 years with same kids and thought I'd remember them forever..not!
Just had a call from Randy, caregiver for the elderly couple I've been meeting up with last few months..was checking to see if I wanted to come out to dinner before or after I come back from holidays
2nd from left side of 1st row or 2nd left from 1st row right side
1st row, 2nd from the right side.
Yep, that's me
Good eye lindakay
No kidding. I picked that one out, because the veil was pulled forward. :)
WHOA .. not even sure where my First Communion pics are .. remember the day well as my Mom was having a fit I was going to get dirty .. my Dad was watching after me as she was the soloist for the production ..
The Nuns were feverishly trying to line us up in order of shortest to tallest .. quite the deal ;-)
Been wondering how Debbie and Dianne are doing ..
Susan .. how bout you .. all well ?
Took dogs for grooming, then out for breakfast and some shopping .. they look so nice groomed .. Zoey stayed home .. 3 dogs to the groomer is one too many ..
SOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired .. that drug I get (injected) makes me very tired ..
Making a salad, and laying down
Toodles

How is your hip today "M"?
Went to Oncologist this morning. She could not believe all that happened to me since I was there in Dec.
I'm happy again, today - tonight the cabinet installer is coming!!
not only that, but he's involved in a charity that helps others, and as such will be taking an "extra" dresser off our hands - making more space - hooray! Plus, some cutlery & dishes, and two extra coffeemakers - how do we get all this "extra"?????
Good cause - people who have lost everything for one reason or another, and starting from scratch. Some lost because of the flood in 2013 and still not in their own home, but will be soon, with their own stuff not borrowed. So glad I can help in some small way. I can't give all, because we can't find all of our own stuff, but when I do..... I know who to contact!!!
Giggling at that one lindaKay, duping even notice that part
Much the same for me "M" those nuns were something else, alwYs had nuns teaching except for grade 8 and high school..
That injections helps with one ailment yet gives you another thing to worry about..tired all the time no fun either but better than the alternative
I'm sure Karen she was just shaking her head..it's hard to believe
No call from Suzanne, finding it odd she hasn't called but perhaps she wants to talk to Lenny first
Mom call a tad ago, she had good reports from all her tests
Then Linda just called, she was at the hospital with a friend who was getting hip replacement keeping her company while he was being operated on when she got the call her 22 year old grandson is in emerge..he works for the beer store, a month ago a pallet fell on him, he just returned to work, light duties, was on forklift when suddenly overcome by mega pain..he has just been given morphine for pain, can't stand so now another wait
Great news Susan
Betty - Bob says I'm a little dopey with all my meds, but he doesn't want me in pain either..... asked him which he preferred, clear headed and in pain, or dopey & as pain free as possible - he said "dopey" lol
He doesn't want me doing much, though. What a sweet man I've got........ and a tired one. So, I do what I can, to help him so he doesn't have to do as much. While he's at work, there's not much he can do to stop me mwwwwahahahaha
hope to have a sink tonight........ Harold said he'd do what he can lol Bob didn't put the sink cabinet together, and doesn't want me to........
Well don't overdo, you wouldn't want him to have to look after you as well as everything else he is responsible for
Did sew a couple of blocks to my quilt, plum tuckered me out, couch and short nap then out to cut grass as rain forecasted for tomorrow
Looking forward to seeing photo's
So are you now in the country' do you have a back yard to garden in?
The houses, while pretty, are crowded in on each other, with high fences. I think most, if not all, are split levels which is why we have a walkout basement suite. They all have the garages (attached) in front. You can reach out your window almost, and touch fingers with your neighbour.
The yard is about 40ft x 40ft. It is owned by our landowners and won't be able to have a garden of my own, but they have a small veggie garden (about 6ft by 2ft) and a 4ft sq flower garden. The rest is grass & patio stones. We have a paved portion under their deck.
It will be nice once we have the kitchen set up - it's 15'4" x 81". The living room is a good size, but not sure what size it is until I can clear some stuff away - I think it's about 20' x 20'....... close to that, I'm guessing. The bedroom is about 10' x 10'....... and bathroom 7'x7' with a shower stall, pedestal sink and toilet, and we put in a free standing "linen cupboard" with 2 doors and 2 drawers.
I don't know what the dimensions give me for total living space, but that's it.
