oooops I'm sorry for putting my tomato in the fridge.....I'll agree to be flogged if I get some more, k?
When you find out what energy is, let me know

Here's something I saw on FB - I'm going to have to try it :-)

"Works on every stain I've tried it on !!!
The ultimate stain remover that actually works on a seriously set in stain! Never buy oxyclean again!
The mixture is:

1 tsp. Dawn dishwashing detergent
3-4 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide
couple tablespoons of baking soda.
Scrub on with a scrubbing brush"

Veggies my son brought home from garden at his girlfriends. I already steamed one beet in the microwave and it was so good. I'm going to enjoy tomatoes for a while too. Showed me pictures of the egg plant, some nice size ones ready to pick. Never cooked one, but I do like them.

Hello sisters and venerable brother Ernie who got our aooetites hungry for fresh tomatoes and it seems Pegi is a very lucky woman to have a son that will make sure she gets some!!

Thanks for the tip Susan.
Sometimes I use straight Dawn on hard stained clothes. Throw them in the front loader ad wash them without any regular clothes detergent. But I don't use much for fear of excessive sudsing.

Any recent pictures of Bella,. Kathy Kiz? Bet you see her as often as you could.

Karen, another presentation? WOW!!! The local news should capture that moment!!

Hello Cookie, guilty for disappearing here.

I have been sleeping a lot, back still bothering me when I am not on pain pills.
A few minutes on the sewing machine and here, means a few minutes of stretching too.
Praise God, I can still walk without a cane.

I got my driver's license renewed yesterday. Passed the test, with the help of God. I prayed before I got there, and begged Kelvin to accompany me just in case I failed it.
Five years ago, I almost failed due to my poor eyesight and had no driving glasses then.
Anyway, this time, I know my right eye will be challenged and I was convinced, if the Lord doesn't help, I will fail the vision test.
Mercifully, the examiner that took me, I knew her and she's a good Christian woman.
I had difficulty with the right column for the right eye. For me, it was blank!!
The examiner walked from behind my table, meddle with the equipment and whispered the numbers off for me to call them out loud!! There were three other examiners in the small room!

Yes she helped me tremendously in passing my test.
Road signs are okay as there's no partition, just for the individual eye vision test.
Kelvin noticed her whispering to me and got worried for should I fail, that means I have to rely on him. No public transportation here, so there goes my independence and he'd be one pissed off driver.
The examiner renewed my license for EIGHT years, the max, instead of the usual five years. She said by then, I will be eligible for Medicare and get my cataract removed.
What a blessing. That's the Lord ensuring I will have a way to worship Him!

Kelvin had a last minute call from work. He was supposed to be off tonight and tomorrow, but the office called him to go to Raleigh for the final class which was scheduled haphazardly.
He did ask me whether he could go this time, and said he'd even swore on the bible that it's for a legit class.
His eyes told me that he's telling the truth, but of course sisters and brother before he left, a very heavy prayer were said and he was sincere in adding to the prayer.

This time, his mother is informed of the same. He claimed not to have any money for this last minute class, the prison will provide transportation, so Ida gave him 20 bucks.
That should be enough for food right?

Have a good evening y'all. God bless all..

Oh forgot to explain how I knew her.
Met her a few years ago, at a local store. Somehow we striked a convo when I remarked how I love her hair cut.. punk style.. you know, short and spikey. And she's of the same age as me.
She said she has cancer, and her hair was starting to grow.
Told her that I'll pray for her.
She remembered me for of course I am the only Asian in Tabor!! She told me she's been cancer free for three years now.. I almost screamed Hallelujah at the DMV office!
There isn't any coincidences with Jesus!

Every person is in our lives for a reason.
She is a blessed person.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

ummmmmm Jaye - scares me to think that someone at DMV would prompt you with the letters - you should be able to see fully, in order to get a driver's licence.
I DO understand about you needing your independence, and not relying on Kel to be there for you when you need to go somewhere, but........ you couldn't see anything out of your right eye by itself!
You know I love you to pieces, but could the woman lose her job for helping you this way?
I worry about this too.
Oh my........ I can hear the flurry of angry DG people at my saying this, but I had to say it........

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

You have every right to worry Susan.
I drive only within a twenty mile radius. Church, P.O, the dentist, doctor and grocery stores. The cataract is just in my right eye, and the left eye is powerful enough to make up the loss.
If ever my left eye bothered me, you can be assured that I wont't take the risk of killing myself nor anyone.
Good thing about living in this small town, should I be driving and all of a sudden the left eye bothers me, I can pull aside, and someone will surely come to my aid.
And she won't lose her job, as they don't ask your medical history. Unless you're in a wheelchair or walking with a blind cane.
As for her prompting, I didn't ask her to do it. I was prepared to be rejected, but I believe that God moved her to do so.

Indeed LK, we are in each other's lives for a reason.

Susan yes you have the right to say any thing you like and I have the right to hear what I want to. Jaye loves you no matter what you say. lol

Went to the dr tonight. he feels my catheter is giving me problems and the stomach is giving me problems because of my failed kidneys. He thinks another month or two and the daily treatments will cleanse my blood and the sick at my stomach will depart. He thinks if it fails to fix I need to switch to the blood out of the body type treatment. He also said avoid red meat especially rare. I figured that out two months ago. He is a great dr he really knows his stuff I have known him for about 7 years and he has always impressed me.

No T sans today but I did slice a nice big orange one and ate the whole thing. how I love tomatoes but not if they come from the store.

Linda cooked a nice roast in the electric pressure cooker and made me a nice Philly san with Ah jus. It was piled high with thinly sliced beef and was as tender as it could be then she put on some nice cheddar cheese on top and nuked it.

I just realized you can't read what's at the top of the picture, so here goes:
"When planting your cats, make sure to space them 6 inches apart, so they have room to grow"

Lololol!! I can't help laughing reading brother Ernie's post, lovingly described his Philly sandwich and ends it with "Nuke it"!!!
I imagined and explosion after that!

Then there's Susan's hilarious tree cat picture. Who says you can't grow them!

Thank you for your birthday greetings. Thank you too for the calls!!
I am ever so grateful for our little group.

Wish I can go through this monitor and give you all a hug.
And yes, I love you no matter what you say.

It's one hot day today, and I think I'll give myself a b'day treat. A kind sister has made it possible for me to ehem.. dine at my favorite Chinese restaurant in a while.

Then off to sew.. got FOUR more blocks done!

Happy Birthday, Jaye. God Bless you my dear friend.

My BIL had another stroke, bleeding in the brain, and mind completely gone. He doesn't know anyone, but all vitals are good. They have planned on putting him in hospice. So glad my sister is strong and is coping well. Thank God for good children to help her through this. One daughter who is the best support is struggling with a very ill husband too, cancer & heart problems. Life gets harder all the time

Went to Lowe's yesterday for spray for ants outside the house and I looked for something for gnats, ended up with some sticky tapes that I hope the gnats love. Only thing I could find for them. I swear my neighbor directed all her ants my way. White I was there of course I had to look at plants, but didn't get any. They now have a large selection of plumeria plants in all colors. Wish I had a pocketful of money so I could have gotten a few. Seems someone cut a stem off one called "playful". Now that the plant is odd looking I think they should mark it down to a price I could afford. Most of them cost around $16. One of the gals working there said she had a lot of plumeria plants and set them all out to the curb as she got tired of them. Wish I had been around, she said they all disappeared very fast. Can't imagine anyone getting tired of them.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

just looked at my tree cat picture, and I realized you can't read what's at the top of the picture, so here goes:
"When planting your cats, make sure to space them 6 inches apart, so they have room to grow"

oh Pegi - your poor sister - strong or not, this is NOT easy on her. Coping well? When he's there, yes, because she has no choice. It's when she doesn't have the care of him that she'll most likely break down.
Your BIL has no idea what's wrong because his mind is gone, but everyone around him is hurting. Prayers for them all. Life sure isn't easy for any of them.....
ants, gnats...... just one letter different lol Kill 'em all!!! (yeah, I know - God's creatures, but SO annoying!)

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

New room everyone! Come on over!
