Happy Easter from me too!!!
I'm glad you enjoyed the video Karen and all. Thought it might put a smile on your face but the news about a possible sale might put a big grin there instead. Hope it is a sale for you.

Happy Easter everyone.

Karen, I will pray that you like his offer for your home!

Sounds like a good time Betty. I will have to look into fabric stores around my area for the get together.
We did not get a goat yesterday. those goats sold for way over our budget ! by the time the auctioneer said 100.00 we raised our hand and it sold for 500.00 !!! we didn't have time to raise our hand ! ? LOL. Last year you couldn't give a baby goat away ! .
so my car is safe.
not much going on here.
Tim is taking kids to his parents, Tom is working . So i m home . just me and the dog. :)

Victoria Harbour, ON

How did I missKatengetting another offer on her home
Wishing you the best Karen, know it would be good for you
Are you planning that trip with your aunt? Well enough to go?

Enjoy your day Sue, sometimes nice to relax

Sitting outside, you know me, can't NOT be doing nothing right so am knitting a neck warmer, winter is coming you know 😝

Going out at 2

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

Trip with aunt is on starting Wed. or Thurs. Trying not to come down with bug GD just had. NOT travelling with the queazies. Plus don't want to share especially with aunt. Planning to visit with a few of the WV cousins as it most likely will be last time. One is Bessie that I shared the article about, nearly 92 and still teaching the hand arts. Her sister Bernice lives nearby and we want to see her too. Third lives in NC but also has home in VA and we are visiting her there. Her hubby makes shine.

Man said he would call today or tomorrow so we'll see. Not getting hopes up, been disappointed too many times. He asked would we consider a fair offer and I said we would. He said we are very close in price so we should be able to agree. Again we'll see. We have some wiggle room as contract with realtor expired in Dec. and he hasn't bothered to come over to renew as yet. Said he was going to but has been busy. Oh well his loss.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Sounds promising Karen!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Makes for more money for you if you don't have to pay realtor fees. Sending prayers for a good sale price!

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

Happy Easter everyone! Heading out to the store to buy ham etc, for dinner

You're right, Karen - his loss. Nice to have a bit of wiggle room for your sale price. Here's praying for a good decision on the buyer's part!! :-)

Thunder Bay Ontario, ON(Zone 3a)

Those girls are so lucky to have her in their life.

Enjoyed a bonfire outside yesterday .. and the sun was shining so brightly, only fly in the ointment was that dastardly WIND ! I got a bit of a sunburn on my face ..

Ohhh "M" a bonfire, lucky you, am hoping to be home Saturday as Darlene has a memorial early Sunday.,that would mean I could at least gather up branches which there are many and enjoy one as well..miss having them

Oops forgot to put the lawnmower battery away this winter, 1st thing I must o when I get home so I can put the lawnmower trailer on the back, would help with clean up for sure..2nd thing is finding me a man. Lol. Yep, someone who will rake

I've been cautious not to get too much sun so it doesn't set off my allergy to the sun

Sounds like Gord is doing better, has he been putting on weight?

good morning
Betty enjoy the sun. Jessica had sun allergies too. She would get nauseated , and feel just awful when exposed to much. Her dad never believed me , even with a Dr report. They would take the girls to the beach , no hat. no sunscreen, Cool Aid to drink. They would be out all day ! ...she would come home to me sick. I would spend 4 days getting her back to health.
such cute pics of all the kids. they are so adorable when its easter egg hunting.
Lucy need to go to the vet for her flea and nail trim.
have friends coming over for a massage.

Thunder Bay Ontario, ON(Zone 3a)

Gordon WAS doing so well . but, he OVERDID it yesterday and the day before, splitting and stacking wood :-(
He had plans to head south for a visit with his bud in Wisconsin .. but, said he isn't going as the pain from the shingles is still way too intense .. the MUCHO EXPENSIVE cream is, for lack of a better word, 'A DUD" .. not helping at all, it has lidocaine in it, so, it should be numbing the area ..
Oh well .. maybe he'll go in May ..

I made buns yesterday .. a YEAST baker I am not, and, these buns EXPLODED when left to rise .. tasted very good, but, sheesh .. I should had portioned out TWO dozen, not one LoL

Off to make that casserole

Happy Massaging Sue :-)

Bob & I were talking about him returning to work, last night. Scheduled to do so tomorrow.
He's not anxious to return, as he's still timid about hit ribs. Turn a *little* wrong, and he's in a lot of pain. Unfortunately there's not a lot of "non-physical" work he can do in a janitorial company. Even just doing the laundry would involve lifting heavy bags and twisting. Wet laundry even more so.
We shall see

Finished another baby blanket (yaaaaaay), and found a quilt top I was looking for (another yaaaaaay)

boo hiss, on Jessica's dad not believing the allergy to the sun

Sorry to hear that Gord overdid it, Marilynne - men are so stubborn, but they learn, oh yes, they learn - eventually lol

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Those rolls look yummy!

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

yes, indeed they do!! In fact, they're making me want some hot cross buns - not as good as homemade, but I bought some yesterday :-)

Victoria Harbour, ON

Problems with iPad, were at the beach though lol

Love hot cross buns, sad thing it I'll eat them till they are eaten

Susan, bet bob is anxious to getback to work, sorry he is still ouch'ing
You were ambitious getting another baby blanket done

I should be done another neck warmer before heading home

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

no, he's not anxious to get back to work.
we have a Dr's app't for him early this afternoon
having time to spend with Bob meant I got the 2nd blanket done quickly

Boy, you must really enjoy spending time at the beach - you're standing/sitting on your head lol
Gotta love posting pics - never know which way they'll show :-)

Was upright when I posted lol
Got just the right amount of sun

Thanks lindaKay

Just ate, thinking of going to Cape Coral hopping, of course great quilt shop
Terry wants to take us out for supper, my choice, being spoilt, all say it's my week.

And wouldn't you know found a lady about 6 trailers down, opposite sideshow as her sunroom made into sewing room..she showed me a quilt throw, suppose to be beach blanket with blocks made as flip flops, so pretty

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

That flip flop beach blanket sounds cool!! Do you have a picture?
You deserve to be spoiled, Betty m'dear!!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Some I found on Google.

It was on the covers of this summer's Fons and Porter magazine..she made a coordinating bag with flip flops applique'd on it..really cute but as she says everyone she gives one to they won't use it for beach

Could use the design KindaKay

Sun did me in,decided to go fabric shopping tomorrow.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

ok, back home with Bob, from Dr's - he said Bob's to take another week off work. Bob didn't want me to take the stairs to the 2nd floor where he works so he did, and ended up in spasming pain and they realize he's not in any shape to come back to work yet. They'll look after his job until he's fit to work.
Great company :-)

Thunder Bay Ontario, ON(Zone 3a)

Great pics, really like the flip flop quilt ..

HA .. I got a sunburn today sitting outside by the fire and playing with the dogs .. I am sure when I see my dermatologist tomorrow, I am gonna have some 'splainin' to do !!

Susan, I think if Bob is worried, he should go in, make an appearance, and leave ..or, perhaps the doc will just say no way he is to work ..

Nothing earth shattering happening here, just enjoying being out in the good weather :-)

Bob's not worried - I am, a bit. He's not worried about his job - they appreciate him for the worker he is, with his work ethic, etc. He made an appearance in the office and the woman from payroll, his supervisor and the receptionist all saw him and agreed he's not ready to go back to work. They saw his pained face from having the walk the flight of stairs up to the front office.
Dr did say "no way he's to go to work" until the 12th, next Monday and gave us another note to that effect. Said there's nothing he can do except rest. That's what Bob was doing at work - delivering the Dr's note saying he's not to go back until April 12th (next Monday).

Victoria Harbour, ON

Lordy he sure did do a number on himself Susan

"m" keep it up and you'll have a to die for tan

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

The Dr said if he's to strain himself now, he'd be off for longer. He just needs rest.
Also turned in the receipts for the 2 Dr's notes. Apparently they will reimburse him for it.
Next Monday, and the following one, are Roll-offs for him, for bowling. He's the Top male bowler in his league :-)
Not going in tonight, means he will be using last Monday's scores and that's a good thing. It's 5-pin bowling, btw
At work they said he has $1,000 worth of sick time he gets paid for - I think they're using his banked time, too - about 2 days worth.
Funny thing is though - Bob has no bruising - I'd have thought he would, or at the very least - swelling. There's nothing to show he's hurt himself - go figure, eh?

That is great coverage Susan, at least you will not have to worry about loss of wages.

Calling it a day...
