Well Debbie, likely just knowing that a lot of your health issues could be this is giving you peace of mind.
take it easy, NO keyboard hard as that may be. Let Paul and Shane spoil you
Deb, Sharon was in Oregon last weekend and her dogs did great..Inuk took 5th consecutive American Eskimo championship and her other two dogs did very well, pleased she was as were you I'msure
love the photo
hurrahhh wedding bells will soon chime, enjoy, enjoy and hope you haven't forgotten anything and enjoy the day..weather is co-operating so that's fantastic
Susan, shaking my finger, Bob should remain resting and not heading out to the Legion..what if one of the company employees see him?? I know, it's allowed, old school training in me, too sick for work, too sick to be out and about.
Just called Sharon to wish her happy birthday, in the conversation we were gabbing about me going to Florida and I told her while watching a movie on u-tube a commercial came on advertising West Jet, its who I travel with..told her I'm so impressed with the new concept of seating they have started, what a marvellous idea..
as we spoke it came to mind, April 1st hmmmm went to look and yet I've been had, was an April fools joke.
that being said though I think it would bring west jet into #1 on the market, great idea!

Best/Worse/What did I learn today?Chat with friend old/new
Betty - he's not sick - just can work because of lifting/twisting - and his boss saw him yesterday when I was driving. Bob couldn't drive and he looked in pain because he was. If you'd hurt your hand, you'd still be able to go out walking, even if you couldn't lift anything, and your job required lifting, right? Anyway, I'm not leaving him alone. If he couldn't go, I wouldn't. He still has to eat, and I'll be doing the driving.
He'll have to start taking magnesium for cramping, that's for sure.....
well enjoy your outing
legions do have wonderful meals
plus no cooking for you!
as long as he doesn't drive (and his work involves driving a lot of the day between locations), he'll be fine. Feels funny chauffeuring him around - he does have to brace himself a bit so he doesn't get jarred, but the Legion isn't that far away - only 7 minutes, and he does want to get out.
is he a back seat driver? lol
drove with Suzanne and her hubby Lenny, he kept giving her step by step instructions, don't do this, do that etc. I for one would have stopped the car and said 'out'
no, I won't let him be a back seat driver lol
He will often ask me which way I want to go when we're out driving."should I go 64th ave, or 32nd?" when we're going to WalMart. I tell him "It's up to you, I don't care one way or the other" lol
I don't know why he does that, he just does
LOL at the back seat drivers!
Loved that video Betty,
wouldn't it be neat lindakay if planes had such a thing
sure would make it easier!
I'm lucky DH has never done that. He knows better. haha I would do like Betty...pull over and say OUT.
we'd best be on our toes when we drive together Debbie lol
keep in mind a June trip as I know by then you will be in tip/top shape
lol love that WestJet april fool's joke
Hahahahaah .. BUT a great idea :-)
DH is a total backseat driver, drives me buggy !!
Debbie, glad you had a good experience .. makes a BIG difference .. can't beat versedfor calming you down ..!
AND .. move over on the 'pity pad' and I'll join you and we can both grouse about our haircuts !
GAWD .. my hairdresser was away .. told the girl I got, just follow the cut, shorter at the back, longer on the sides, a 'BOB' .. lets just say my BOB is a BILL for a few weeks til it grows in a bit !!
Susan .. hope lunch was good ..
Anyone heard from Barb?
Best russle up some salads and start the rice cooker
TOODLES
~M~ ..
Lunch was very good. Bob's pain pills killed his appetite however. He could only eat 1/2 of the lunch.
Not recently, but my hairdresser was away once, and I not only got a bad haircut, but the replacement pulled my hair and combed my ears. They were red afterwards. I complained to my regular hairdresser (of 8 years) and I will never have that woman do my hair again. btw - she no longer works there, whether it has anything to do with me or not, I don't know but don't care, either.
Congratulations! So happy it was a nice time and wish them the best of everything.
Congratulations! Best wishes for a long and happy life together. Glad it all went well.
Debbie, so pleased you may get some real answers and solutions. Sending a hug and a reminder...listen to the Doc....take time to heal. grin
Beautiful bride and groom and Mother of the bride .. :-)
AND, the bouquet is outstanding !!!!
Putzin around playing Scrabble, think I'll go and watch some TV (almost typed 'commercials), one of the reasons I watch little TV, so MANY commercials !! And, L O U D !!!
Hope your hair apt went well Betty .. if not, there's room to sit with Debbie and myself :-)
Night ladies
~M~
Rita just left, I'm getting ready to call it a day, lots to do tomorrow as I leave here early Friday.
Deb, thanks for the photo's
You can just see how happy she is, just beaming
The very best to the newly weds.
"m" I can prance around with a great cut ..still perm left so should be easy to keep up with.
Weren't you telling Debbie justthe other day how it will grow in ?? Lol
Hate when that happens though
Susan, bet bob is sound asleep, his outing tired him out
No, Bob wasn't tired out - he did "twist" himself going out the door at the Legion though - the doors are heavy, and the wind is very strong today - I was talking to some friends of mine and next thing I know, he was out and into the car. Going into the Legion together, I refused to let him open the heavy doors, but he slipped away from me afterwards. Men.....!! So independent.
We had a wind warning all day yesterday, and I see it's not there anymore and the Weather Liars say it's not as windy, but we can hear tree branches falling on our home, and the howling of the wind is very loud.
Sitting here chuckling about our hair issues....I washed mine several times, if I water it, it will grow faster, right? Pfffft! I really do not like it at all and has almost been a week.
Listen to the docs, I know I know. DH left me home alone and went to the hockey (Sabres) game with his brothers and out to eat, DS is working. SO....me, the dog and cats. Made some mac & cheese for dinner and it was horrible....so I got a chocolate covered pretzel and my RC and am
happy now.
chocolate & RC cola - interesting combination, but if it rocks your boat, it's good lol
Good morning !
38F mild but windy .. Susan, I do believe your wind blew over Sask/MB and into Northern Ontario .. the windchimes are having a field day banging and bongng
Washed my hair as well Debbie .. had gotten a packet of products in the mail by 'John Frieda',
shampoo/conditioner and, a voluminizer .. they were in packest sorta like McDonalds ketchup .. so .. I go into the shower .. take said packets with me .. take my glasses OFF, who showers with glasses on .. and, I proceed to TRY and see the writing on the packets .. you got it .. WASHED my hair with CONDITIONER, conditioned it with SHAMPOO, but did get the voluminizer packet correct .. I gottta tell ya .. if you ever watched 'The Adams Family', and, you saw 'THING', well ,, that's me this morning .. friggin hair is DOUBLE poofy .. have to tame it down before Lorna and I head in for her docs apt !!
SOft and shiny though :-)
Take care all
~~M~~

Good thoughts and positive healing energy folks.
Sitting inside, by Bob's side. Last night, after he laid down to go to sleep, he felt all clammy then felt a "click" in his ribs like something went back into place. He's not feeling well at all today, so I'm not going to be on the computer........
Happy Anniversary, Karen :-)
