I just talked to my son, he said Dylan has been admitted to the hospital, but because the hospital has so many kids with the same stuff, there are no rooms available, so they spent the night in the ER, with everyone else. They hope to get a bed soon. They are getting meds in Dylan, along with IV fluids. Thanks so much for all your prayers and concern! It means a lot!

Here praying LindaKay, drats is it contagious for so many children with it. How worried you all must be..bet you want to drive back to San Antonio don't you

I am just now back online since being offline since Sun.. Haven't read anything will go back now and read. Finally got an agent at Bell Canada who spent over 2 hours with me getting me back on line this morning. All the others took the quick fix and I ended up within 24 hr being offline again.. What a saint she was!!!

It is highly contagious Betty. All they can do is keep pumping in IV fluids for all of the sick ones. Not for sure how long they will keep him. Yes, i wish I was closer to help out.

hahahaha Betty - had to laugh right out loud (Susan & I both did) when you were talking about us being rude, being computer addicted and on our games. This is how we met - being on the same online game - we're side by side, and assist each other on the game. Let me put it another way - if we were both quilters and quilting on our own projects (but together in same room) we'd be having a good time. We talk about how we're doing, and what, etc. It's a different world lol
Right now, we're heading off to Lowes, to get fluorescent tubes for my desk.

My you must have felt lost without outside contact, thank goodness you found someone willing to get through to the problem..how is the melting in your neck of the woods..likely lost another few inches, cold out there but I got Christmas lights down and patio set set up on front deck, think I'm anxious for spring lol

Went over to let the dogs out, saw that Noah was home, vacuum going in his room, I hadn't seen he had emailed me to say he let the dogs out so let them out again, gave them a treat and came home, didn't go upstairs at all..that ought to tell him something

Funny story, a few weeks ago ann took them to a playgroup, one picked a phone out of someone's purse, the other wouldn't let a baby go, kept hugging for dear life to the babe. Lol

lol ok Betty - went to do a bit of grocery shopping and met my neighbour - she told me how her son-in-law was driving through for work, and stayed overnight at their place. Spent the entire visit on the internet. They were NOT impressed, needless to say..........
No, she'd never flown before.
She said "flight was fine, except for take off and landing" lol

We had a friend come over for Christmas dinner one year, and she spent the entire dinner texting her boyfriend in another city. I explained that it was rude, she blushed, and stopped...... lol

I had a friend who invited me over for pizza then spent the evening talking on the phone to his girlfriend. He called me a couple of days later to "apologize." Said,"Sorry, I guess that was rude but it's just what I felt like doing." Berkeley men!!!

I just caught a mouse in my kitchen - finishing a bag of corn chips. I caught it in the bag and let it go away from the house. But it will probably find its way back.

Well, you are all very busy.

We had a cold spell. Got down in the high 60s. I actually had to turn the heat on but we are headed back up in temps.

One thing I never do is complain about the heat. Sometimes I complain about the electric bill from the air conditioning but utilities are very low in the winter.

I have tomato starts to plant this weekend. My back is doing much better except a few times during the night. My right leg gets a hot burning sensation and when I move it, it goes away. My male schnauzer sleeps right next to me and does not move. So in order to move my leg I have to go into contortions to get it from under the covers and then back under the covers. The pain I feel first thing is the morning is getting less every day.

Katie, have a safe trip. You are so nice to thr mouse. I would have stomped on thr bag. Our cat that disappeared, Izzy, brought in a mouse she had caught o play with then lost it in the house. It must have ben PG because soon they were everywhere and the dogs were chasing them and I found them in the laundry room and the pantry. So I was not a happy camper. I am a mean old woman.

Oh my goodness, first you guys get snow and now you are getting the melt and floods. No wonder you have mosquitoes.
