Thanks for the new room Betty.

Well the storm really moved in quickly. In less than an hour I could not see across the lake.Sure glad I don't have to go out tonight. How about you Betty?

UPS made it down the lane so I have some new books to read. Started Jonathan Kellerman's latest release Motive. Six pages in and I am hooked. Have read a few books set in the low country of South Carolina.I learned a new word 'swanny'.

Stay safe and warm everyone.

Dianne

It's moved out from my neighborhood to yours...can see you in a lounger, book in hand, fire going and furries cuddled in around you, best feeling of all is looking outside and not having to go out.

I'm making chicken soup, when done I also will read the new quilt magazine I bought today, got to say those books always seem to have a project I want to do

Hi...

Karen, I hope you get some meds to help the nausea. keeping you in good thoughts.

Oh Moonbeam, I'm wrapping arms around you. I am so glad Maxie cat went to sleep under the Camelia right in her own back yard. Awe, probably knew you'ld find her there. I'm sure the others miss her too. Oh and Bernie too, I bet he can feel her gone. Give them all some extra loving. Maxi sure was a beautiful cat. I'm glad I got to meet her too.

LOL, I forgot you had so many kitties. They all are pretty.

Susan, lol I 'm glad ya pushed yourself out to the post office.

Well, i had sort of lazy day today. This morning, I searched the web for what seems the one and only Dr. to take the insurance I have... kind of weird, but I will wait for the insurance card until I call for an appoint.
and if this is, I'll not complain since she is at our Hospital...But boy have I had a headache all day. Think i need new glasses.

Well, then to occupy my time I wrote some more. Played with the birds, woohoo, washed some planting pots, cruised the web images concerning Julia's dress. I will tell you this, she is considering Leather!!
I am smiling away...Then made space for the wood pile, need it to dry out by Saturday, its Bahamama time!
Late, but hey it's still winter, sounds like it's going to be a nice turnout.

Oh...Breaking News. The Management that stole our buildings money has sold his building and we received a check from the title company for the total amount. That matter is finally over, and thankfully in our favor.

Just a quiet kind of day and evening.
Armwraps for everyone.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Judy - if it's a "meh" kind of thing, I don't go out. I HAD to get those centers out to the post office - they were 3 WEEKS late going.
Just like yesterday when I Had to go to the Drs because I Had to turn in my medical form to get my driver's licence. My Dr had given it to me back on Jan 16th, and I waited until the last possible day (I thought) to get my licence. Turns out I had until my birthday on the 11th, but you see what I mean, right? I just don't go out anymore, unless I have no choice.
I have been trying to get to the recycling Bottle Depot for over a month, but because it and the Post Office are close, I did that at the same time. What a relief to get stuff DONE finally.
The Bottle Depot refund more than paid for the postage - good thing, eh?

I'm so sorry to read of your loos Jean. It is hard to lose our friends.
Standing in the corner with "M" this morning and praying hard..
Dinner with Brandon and family was fun last night. He looks terrific. Goes to Florida in three weeks for regional competitions.....
Getting the console part of our love seat in today. It was back ordered. Off to get dressed before they get here.....

Victoria Harbour, ON

Morning all
crusty and cold out there, bit of freezing rain will make it treacherous

Prayers are with "M" and Gord today, may there be answers!!!!

The young lad in jail goes to court to plead 'guilty or not guilty today', wondering if police will call Greg/Mel and let them know how it went, am sure they will..if it's a plead down then I'm sure Noah will be upset but the young man is only 17 and it would be nice if the system could help him rather than put him in jail for forever.

Barb, can see you smiling from here, great getting together with Brandon, does the heart some good when you see them doing well.

You'll soon be done and how you will enjoy the spacious living quarters.

playing with snowmen today and looking at a kitty panel I bought a few days ago at Fabricland for $3.50, kitties are saying 'do me, do me' lol

do have to go into town and return some of the materials I bought for reno's, something I can do this aft when it warms up or leave it till tomorrow

still watching the weather both here and Buffalo Debbie, doesn't look bad at all

If Aunt Muriel doesn't have her passport by Friday, Suzanne and I will leave when she finishes work at 3pm and come home Saturday.. if Aunt Muriel has her passport then I'll leave early Saturday morning and come home Sunday morning, big sigh, last minute decisions

Good morning ..

Love the kitties, and, I do believe over my lifetime I have likely had one of each pictured :-)
Hope you get some resolution as to when you go to Buffalo ..

Fitful sleep last night .. I try to remain 'upbeat', but, when you go to appts like these, well, you can't help but feel nervous ..
Thanks for all the backup !!

Barb, Brandon must be growing in leaps and bounds .. always seems when they go away to school, they come home with a bit more maturity than when they left.

Best eat some breakfast, altho, it feels as though my throat won't swallow (nerves)

FINGERS crossed

I leave this afternoon for my back and shoulder injections Thursday morning. I pray they work for me. I will be back Friday.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Sending prayers and armwrats for all..seems we all need them

Karen, feeling any better?

Jean so sorry to hear your kittys passing. always sad when they pass.
M hope all goes well today for you. sending you a hug.
My goodness a family died in Ohio last week from CO poisoning. Wow, three children . The landlord is in big trouble, they found so much wrong with the home that could have prevented this tragety. :( slum lord !! furnace had not been annaully checked for maintanece.
uhg i m grumpy today. Kids started with a delay. but ended up a closure. rained all day yesterday and froze over night. uhg. was going to go see Tom today but that is a bust :( more snow on the way and bitter cold for us. In the teens....
sorry to be such a debbie downer today. but i m so tired of being stuck in a house bored. !
Next year i will be a sewing person. I will have my arts and crafts ready and stocked up. This year the budget didn't allow it :(

Victoria Harbour, ON

That's sad news indeed, only recently did I buy the CO alarm, should get a 2nd for downstairs.
think Sue we're all on a weather downer, luckily I have a lot of craft stock to keep me busy and if weather co-operates going for more.

We'll get you addicted yet, you will love it.

I used to do scrapbooking Betty and other things. But i just gave it all up after jessica died. I got so depressed . I donated and gave most of it all away. I also used to do lots of canning and preserving foods during the winter. I have tomatoes i need to get made into salsa. I just keep forgetting about them LOL. hopefully next week i can get organized LOL .

Glenview, IL

Good Morning,
Joining in with Morning Prayers.
M, I sure hope and pray it's a good appointment.

Linda Kay, Yes, Yes praying the injection will help and give you some relief.
Safe travels.

Karen, I hope you have a good, good day. take things slow.

Awe, So Sweet Barbara. I am really happy you got to have dinner with B. Smiling up a storm at his A's, and plane ticket home, such a nice incentive, lol something tells me Brandon would have gotten A's regardless. Oh gosh Best wishes for the upcoming Competition.

Susan, I hear you on the Meh thing. I don't go anywhere if I don't have to either. Only reason for me is it's winter, lol I am a hibernator.

Yikes, we got a few inches the other day, now it a pure sheet of ice...So if I do go anywhere it will be much later.

Wow, I woke up at 7, so nice and I feel really good today. So, the other day I did get my one room cleared of all the clutter, so today my goal is to attack Harport and do a dust, wipe down of everything.

Well I hope Justice is in Noah's favor, which it should be.
Oh Betty, the quilt piece is lovely...lol I was glad you got rid of some of the acquired fabric.
Oh I hope you'll get to Buffalo as you want too. Keeping fingers crossed for good weather for your travels.

Hey, Deb...I was giggling at your puppy mess, lol only because I can relate, only my constant mess is with my birds. Yep, they are only "babies" for a bit. I hope they settle down soon.

OMG, Moonbeam, I meant to wish you and Jim a happy Anniversary Saturday. Hope it was wonderful.

Dianne, ohhh and how is Chaos since his first time out? I was laughing about Desiel and Dukes reaction.

Alright, I better get a move on here.

I hope you all have a Good day, so far so good, the Sun is shining!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Thanks Judy, I know from the past, that if they don't hit the right spot, it will not help. So I pray for the Dr. to hit the right spot.

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

Sending my prayers too LK...

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

I am waiting with the rest of you, in a prayer circle, for Marilynne & Gord. Have some coffee and fresh fruit. I just had a banana, but I also have mandarin oranges and apples. (working hard on my diet lol)

Betty - hear ya on the passport thing for Aunt Muriel........ Susan & I are waiting to hear about hers. She's hoping to fly on the 11th....... counting down lol

Sue - I feel for you, stepping away from crafting. You will get back to it in your own good time. How lovely that you found "homes" for all your crafts - now you have LOADS to room to make MORE lol

Judy - I'm not so much a hibernator (although I'm that, too lol) but for the past 2 summers I haven't done anything in my garden (blush). Mind you, it's a teeny one in front of my trailer, and my 16' x 20' deck with all sorts of patio pots (herbs and tomatoes). I Did plant a garden in our Community Garden, which got me out a bit more, but no one should look at my deck lmao Good thing it has a HIGH fence.

For right now, I'm content to do some knitting, look forward to weaving on my loom (yaaaaaaaay!), and for when Susan arrives (fingers crossed that it's for the 11th!)

Prayers and love for all my dear friends here - wouldn't it be great if I could get to meet you all - another year.......

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Wish I could hit the lottery for all of us to afford to meet up someplace. That would be awesome!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Everytime I buy a ticket I say if I get the big one, buying a large RV, bringing everyone together and we're going travelling..ahhhh dreams!

LindaKay must be so frustrating to know if they get the right spot you are pain free (or almost) for a bit of time.

Hibernator, believe it or not i could stay in the house and never come out and enjoy myself, nice when people drop in but I'm truly not a visitor.

Sue, bet you have her room looking like a Queen's room just waiting for the word!!

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

Woke up this morning for the first time in weeks, not sick and with a bit of an appitite. Do you remember me telling you of my mom's cousin in WV? She called me yesterday and it was so wonderful talking to her. This morning I called my aunt/best friend and we started making plans. We had been talking of some traveling this spring, but as I got sicker and sicker, I was losing hope. Today I called my aunt and said I have March appointments with surgeons and such but I'm not allowing any more to be made for April. When we feel like it. We' ll head out and go visit with Bessie & her sister plus another cousin or two over that way. This could be the last chance to see them and we are all left who know them. There is much I want to ask Bessie.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Karen is this the Aunt that was on the front porch with her crafts? That is awesome, I know you will enjoy each others company!
Glad to hear your feeling better!

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

yes, LK - it would be awesome - a "hug fest" to be sure LOL would we have time to eat, with all the talking and hugging that would be going on? maybe the easiest way to lose weight LOL
Betty - do you still have the little pull behind trailer?

Karen - SO glad you have some appetite back, and are looking towards travelling :-)
I'm sure your Aunt is thrilled too!

LK - when do you get the shot?

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I get my injections in the morning. 9:45 am.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

We'll be here for you........ ((((((LK))))) hope it "hits the spot" for you :-)

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Thanks so much!

I hope we hear from "M soon!

Victoria Harbour, ON

how long before you know it will work LindaKay?

what happy news Karen on both accounts, the feeling better and almost up to travelling and getting to speak and visiting with your Aunt....maybe you should tape your conversation so you will not forget a thing

keep checking for "M"s report, so praying there are answers and better still great news

Yes Susan, still have the trailer, never even made it around the block lol paid over $1,000 for new top and there it sits..but sit it can, one day I'll do a roadtrip with it

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Dr. said it can take a few days for me to know if there is any pain relief.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Well here's hoping..when do you head home?

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

Oh Linda hoping for speedy relief for you. I've had a lot going on but until recently didn't know the despair if it never ending. It can sure throw you out of kilter in a hurry.

Yes it's the lady on the porch, she is cousin to my mom and aunts. Bessie called me yesterday and I was thrilled beyond words that she remembered me. My aunt Bonna, also my best friend and I have been trying to plan a trip this spring. I've just seemed to hit one snag after another but called her today and told her they had me already set up for appointments this month and I will make them but next month, I'm out of here for as long as we feel like at and to see as many of the WV relatives as we can manage. We are all in our 70's & 80's....well mostly 80s, I'm a generation behind them. But they are the ones I remember from when I was small.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

lol Wish I could buy it from you, Betty - but shipping would be cost prohibitive anyway lol
New Top?

Is this a cortisone shot, LK? Sorry - I missed this........

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Very Happy for you, Karen - light at the end of the tunnel :-)

Victoria Harbour, ON

not for sale anyway Susan, it will sit there, perhaps one day the kids will want to use it to go camping..paid for so what to heck

Thunder Bay Ontario, ON(Zone 3a)

Hi everyone ..
We are HOME .. whwew .. what a day !!
Lorna dropped us off at 10, apt for 1030, saw the doc at NOON ..
She a wonderful woman, very straight forward, and, the bearer of GOOD news (so far)
She examined Gord, talked to us about everything .. then ordered blood work, he has to collect his urine for 24 hours, and he had a chest xray .. once those reports are back, we will go back once again ..
So .. nothing too definitve, but, nothing BAD !!!!!
She's not too crazy about him being on the prednisone .. but, left it alone ..

Karen, so nice to hear you're having a better day :-)

LK .. best of luck my dear .. gotta 'hit the spot' is fer sure .. Lorna has had only about a 50% good outcome .. but, she'll take it ..

Exhausted .. getting supper ready ..

THANK YOU everyone for your support .. absolutely WONDERFUL ..

HUGS

~M~

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Victoria Harbour, ON
