1st and 2nd pic is stove I built in 1984. as a lerning exercise for my 15 year old son. Today he is ome of the finest fabricators and welders I have ever been around. He is much better than I ever was.

One of my boys broke legs, long ago, and they cut off his pants. He was more upset about that than he was about his legs!! Silly boy

I had to message my primary to make an appointment and I told her about the cough. They will be in touch as to when to come in. One thing I think I will do this time is put on a mask as soon as I get there. Last thing I want to do is pick up anything floating around. They keep masks at the check in desk.

Karen not a pm house it actually has 3 different size holes so it will be attractive to several bird types.

Susan I do not sell my work I give freely to my friends some of them give me some cake or pie .. I just bought a bit of wood about $110. sheesh oh well I don't ask what the quilts Linda gives away cost lol.

Not going to hold my breath but we are to get a lot of rain come Friday as much as two inches :)

I was going to do the Flea market again this weekend but with the storm coming in and me not feeling to good I cancelled. I started feeling tired Sunday, then yesterday I went to get my haircut. and while sitting in the chair I felt like I was going to pass out. On the way back home I really got to feeling bad! I'm anemic and had not been taking any Iron pills for awhile, STUPID me, lol. By the time I got home it was all I could do to get in the house with out falling down I was weak, dizzy and had the shakes! Today I'm just plain tired and have a small pressure headache. Took iron pills and have been eating a lot of spinach.

Karen, it's not the first time this has happened. I've been anemic for a long time. Just haven't been taking my pills like I should be :(

Cindy, know those feelings, exactly. Dr just (yesterda) told me to up my vitamin D. New studies show more is better... blah blah Dr stuff that confuses me. Any way now taking 5 , 2000IU gummy vitamin D per day. You might want to ask your doctor about it.

dark skinned people, in the northern part of the world, need to take more vitamin D than light-skinned people, because they don't get it from the sun (skin colour blocks it - normally from hot climates where sun is too hot, so naturally developed the skin colour as a blocking agent).
I am also anemic, and once had the awful feeling of falling flat on my face at home, and not being able to get up. Dr told me Months Afterwards, that he considered me chronically anemic for years but didn't want to put another "label" on me. The idiot......... When the blood tests came in from the lab, the lab phoned me personally and told me that I almost died....... so the Dr put me on Pallifer - pregnancy strength. I was back to myself in a month. Needless to say I changed doctors lol

Not only are those great birdhouses, Ernie, but you have an amazing shop. My hubby would have loved it, but then he wasn't very neat about things. My brother was a tool & die maker and both of his sons have followed in the trade. All started with my dad in the Navy in the 1920's where he learned the trade. Wow, wonder how all those memories surfaced. My son is a machinist and just can't find work. Everything is being sent to China or Mexico.

A few years ago my blood was so low that I ended up in ER needing 2 units of blood. I felt just fine, thought my doctor was over reacting. I was at the clinic at the time so didn't get a chance to go home. Glad we have good doctors who take care of us.

Machine tool is making a come back Pegi, slowly but surely. Most of our family is machine tool. Hubby was engineer, buyer, then managed a shop. Sons and SILs are all in the trade. Just recently they can be a bit more choosey about where they work. Don't think we will ever get back to the glory days though when the pay was good and if you were good, you were in demand.

I hate taking pills and I'm not good at staying consistant either, lol. I'll do good for a week or two, then just forget lol. But when I went on the diet last Jan I started taking take Vit D, B 12, Omega 3, Centrum Silver and Iron well with all the moving and stressing over this and that I just simply forgot :( I can't find my big pill box that I used to keep all my pills together. It got packed away some where :( But I now have pills on kitchen counter so I DON"T forget. This is not a fun feeling, ugh....I want to be outside playing in the dirt but now we have a big rain storm coming in YAY!!!!! So everything is put off for awhile for outside. So as soon as I feel up to it I will finish putting craft room together. Right now it's being use for "Hot House" got seeds germinating. Wanted to see if I could get Pride of Barbados and Cannas to germinate. So far one Canna is about 2 inches tall. POB 2 sprouted so I planted them nothing has come up yet. Other POB seeds mildewed??? What am I doing wrong LK? I put them in a baggie with damp TP.

When you place them in a baggie with wet paper towels, leave the top open just a bit, so it gets some air, don't seal it. Keep it in a dark place, like in the cupboard, but keep an eye on it. In just a few days you should see sprouts. Plant them when you see growth!

The only thing I disagree to, Barb, is that many think Brady is the Joe Montana of this generation. He shouldn't be compared to anyone since his talent for accuracy is uncanny..

Cindy, like Thunder there, I'm also taking high dose of Vitamin D. My BFF, a nurse, advised me to do so, saying all women should be taking extra Ds.

Susan, when I was on the anemic side in the 80s, I was told to take Pre Natal vitamins. That really helped me much.

Couldn't come over yesterday as my tummy doubled over in severe pain.
Yesterday afternoon, I asked a/hole to get me a BKing bacon burger as I was craving for it. Pretty surprised he agreed, and even got Lola a plain burger.
I shouldn't have asked for it. Got the runs and stomach ache.
Didn't stop till almost 10 in the evening. No more burgers for me from BKing!

The daffodils are sprouting, spring hopefully will be on time for ALL here!

I give my quilts & such away. I keep saying I just sew for love not money. Very few are willing to pay true value for home made. I have plenty of family to keep me busy sewing. I make special quilts to donate for scholarship raffles, they usually raise over $500 each every year.

Cindy, light is not needed to sprout seeds. I have even started them, by just sticking them in a pot of soil, keeping it moist.

Jaye, sorry to hear you had tummy troubles. Sometimes those burgers do that to me as well.

Jaye, sew good to see you. I am rearranging my sewing room. Mess mess everywhere. Cleared off enough space to cut a bit, and do some sewing yesterday and today. Making some simple patched baby blankets. Two boys and a girl have joined the family in past year.
Ashamed to say little guy born just over year ago, quilt still sitting here in pieces. Time to get a move on it. And do for other two. Been enjoying playing in the pinks again.
Back and hips bothering me, sew I can't sit at machine for any length of time. Sew a bit, move around, take a short walk. Sew a bit more. Pain in the arse figuratively, and literally

Cindy, I hate taking pills too. And I often forget. Hubs has trained himself to remind me. Days I work are easier. I put pills in a little container, into my lunch box before I go to bed. Sew they are there when I take break and lunch. Can't forget. But when home and schedule is different. Nother story.
