Surprise.. surprise!!
Every year it's a tradition for us to have dinner at a German restaurant. Thought this year would be different, but he had promised me yesterday, he'd treat me and his mum to the restaurant.
I didn't hold my breath, but lo and behold, he did keep his promise but unfortunately Ida chose to go to her brother who's ill.
He was agitated the whole time, hurrying.. but I kept my cool.. took my time eating.
Got home, he rushed to see the whore. So.. this is Christmas for him.

In the meantime, his mum squealed to her family what Kelvin has become. Even to her SIL that had cussed me out, she was embarrassed.

Since Kel is still being an ass about the money, at least he's spending some of it on a good Christmas meal. I didnt have goose this year, but sausages. Kel had Rouladen.

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I just was not in the holiday mood so I did not wish anyone a Merry Christmas :( The holidays are not the same for me anymore and I would rather just skip them all!

I am at my mom's unpacking boxes ugh fun fun NOT!!! Then back to Marysville for one more load, I hope! jeez I did not realize I had so much crafting stuff, lol. So I told my mom and cousin "I am going to keep you two busy doing crafts and we are going to sell them!" I have a permanent spot at the Flea Market yay!!!

Boy it is COLD here, brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr low 40's and windy, goes right through these old bones of mine. Got a nice hot fire going so house is toasty warm.

One more load LK, I am going back down Monday to finish and also bring Harlee home with me. I don't like going off and leaving her :( I am really going to miss Amy and I know she is going to miss Harlee. They've been together since Amy was 6 wks old she's now 3. been unpacking glass stuff that I make totems out of, now unpacking my paints, but I am pooped so I think it's break time lol

I seem to feel the same as Cindy about the holidays, but it turned out good. We did a lot of laughing at my brother's house, exchanging gifts is a fun thing, except I took a blender someone else had gotten and then my nephew took it from me. I figured I needed a new blender since my old one is at least 30 years old. Then on Christmas Day my son drove me out to friends in Hemet, which is about an hour & half drive. He stopped a couple times to look at his Thomas map, but we made it. It was a nice time and got a couple very pretty bracelets. From my brother & SIL I got an ant that was welded together, a large rock for his body and smaller one or his head. When my niece opened hers I fell in love with it, not knowing I was getting one. I'll take a picture of him to post later. He is too nice to sit in a garden out in the elements.

Found the library book I thought I lost at the doctor's office, I find items I lose in really strange places. Glad I don't have to pay the library for it.

Got company here. We have had our grandson since Christmas but he will be going home today. And then I'll be ready for some quiet time. He is a joy but he has soooo much energy!!! Actually, I think I'm just jealous!

I am checking in. My son and family just left. Nice and quiet here now. We all had an excellent Christmas.

We are back home. Just as we were leaving to go down the real estate called and wanted to schedule a showing for 10 A.M. tomorrow. I told them sorry no can do we wouldn't be back until later today and no way could it be ready. I said 3-4 in the afternoon is fine.

For the most part our Christmas was very nice. Son's step daughter did indeed mess with him and tell him last minute he couldn't see the kids. That little B---h has been giving him the run around for over a year now. He and we have loved her like our own since she was under two years old. Sadly drugs have messed her up and she uses her kids as weapons now. He didn't come to Christmas and wouldn't answer his phone. So today I decided I wasn't coming home until I knew he was mostly OK. His car was there so we knew he was. Has to ring bell and pound on the door for a long time before he finally answered. We kept the dog barking until he finally opened the door. I hugged him and we cried a bit but by the time we left he was OK and promised to come up for New Years.

The princesses loved their Elsa dresses and both fit pretty good just a wee bit large which is good. Everyone else was happy with their gifts. We had an awesome prime rib dinner and a good time late into the evening.

Glad to hear most of your Christmas was a fun time Karen. Sorry to hear about the step daughter not showing up!

Caught him feeding the cats less and practically starving them, for that's what the other woman does with her pets. No wonder her dogs are killing her chickens. You know cats don't overeat, and there are no more mice nor voles in the yard. Can't understand why they were milling at the back porch around ten a.m if Kel had fed them at 7. They normally get fed twice, later at 6 in the evening.
I told him, he's never this cruel, as he always made sure the kids get the best food and never go hungry. That woman starve her animals and gave up on her youngest son easily to be raised by her ex' SIL. She only thinks about herself.
He hung his head in shame but not enough conscience to quit..

Teach me not to focus on him. That's hard as I'm living with the devil.

Sadly she is in a rehab/shelter that has a very good record. BUT she says she's only there because she's homeless not because she's addicted. The baby daddy (she says is her fiance) is doing time for stealing a car. She lies to and about me and everyone else, most of all to herself. Trying so hard to still love her but she do push the limits.

Elsa is from the movie Frozen and is the latest current favorite princess. Perfect especially for Noelle as she has the long blond hair.

Well, Jaye, I told him I didn't want anything but the electric hooked up in my shed, but that didn't happen. Maybe in the Spring. He got me a beautiful sapphire and diamond necklace and stud earrings. He got me a new cover for my IPAD since I'd worn the original one out in the last year. Finally he gave me a car charger that fits both my iPhone and my iPad. All much appreciated gifts.

Sorry Kel is still being mean. I'm still having trouble hearing this about him. He was so sweet to you and all of us when we met at BJ's. Where oh where did THAT man go??

LK, I had refused to cook one day, that didn't end well. His mother was furious that I am still cooking for him. Kel said being he paid the utilities.. internet.. cable .. phone etcetra.. I can at least cook and do his clothes. Treat him with kindness said the Lord. So, I kept cooking BUT, I started to ration his servings. Pay me cheap and you get cheap. His mother laughed when I told him I served him two porkchops instead of the usual 4. They were thin, thin cuts too. And all he gets is one side with the entree. If there's toast, there's no side.
LK, I know he treats himself and the woman to dinners as she hates and can't cook but love eating out That man can't go without food for more than 3 hours.

I'd be afraid if he did the shopping. He would only buy what he wants and nothing you want Jaye. Portion control is great!!! Did it occur to you that he isn't moving out because then he wouldn't have any excuse for NOT moving in with her? He has the best of both now so why change anything. Barb, I never thought of that. You may be right. With her, he can be an uncouth Kelvin, and come home to comfort and culture. Yes, he has proven himself to be sly.

I got good news to share this time!! Returned to my Dr and my A1C test is 8~ 2 years ago it was 11. He asked me how did I survive. Told him that my sister had been keeping me alive, sending me insulin.
He agreed to prescribe Novolog instead of Humolog as I take less with Novolog. Must be I developed resistance towards Humolog.
Then he agreed to change Lantus to Levemir. Being that I can't barely walk with Lantus.
At first my bp reads 190 above 80, and when he changed to the other arm, it dropped to a manageable 160.
I lost 36 pounds without even trying~ got warned by him to eat right as my heart wouldn't be able to work right if I don't.
He couldn't help me further with cholestrol.. etc.. as I can't afford lab work.
He called me a survivor!! So, that's the good news... I am not in any critical shape.
Oh.. my antidepressant has been increased. Maybe I can get happy soon.

Kel was furious when I told him I have to return in another month to see a diabetic specialist. He wants to know how he would be paying for it. Told him to trust God!!! Lolol.
Put it this way, he got a Samsung smart phone the one that costs 500 for Christmas, lied saying it's used and that a customer gave it to him. That same "customer" can sure pay the specialist bill right?

Got some antibiotics too for my ears. One ear has retracted and the other, hearing loss. God is good, I still can hear him.

Praise God, praise Him for He is so good to all of us. Thank you for your prayers sisters. Include in your prayers that the insulin company will help me out with that.

Have you noticed that my avatar is now the right way. Melody wrote that it must be my editing system, I don't understand so much of this tech stuff. Well, I e-mailed a picture to her and she managed to fix it right for me. Guess after all this trouble I won't be changing it. I'm having more problems with certain things and of course I blame in on to Windows 8.1.

I went and picked up "Dragonfly in Autumn" at the library. Oh, that is a thick book and small print. Wish they had it in large print but then probably couldn't carry the book. Going to be another year of reading many books..

We need a new lap top but I'm holding off as long as I can hoping windows 8 will get better somehow. All I hear are complaints. Seems that happens every time Windows up grades, like they issue it before all the bugs are worked out.
