Karen, LK, Sue.. Kelvin has already opened another account and will be depositin his paycheck there. She and him will be sharing that account, but, she wants all his paycheck not partial. He's beating his brains trying to finnagle a way in giving me 500, and replacing that money in the account.
Said he'd be selling his art collection, something we both wanted for him. That's his loss. As someone said, Kelvin has truly downgraded...

Guess God knows what He is doing.

The dentist had to extract the tooth, and I must be on liquids for a couple of days. That won't be hard as I hardly eat.

had Trojan horse zues in my computer today. it gets there by people driving down the road and clicking on some device. it attacks bank accounts, credit card accounts, personal pictures, and social media accounts. cost 150 dollars to have it removed and protect your computer for 1 year. and it only took 3 1/2 hours to do!

My sister Alice won't be going home today - she's complaining of tiredness in her chest, and they're going to send her for an x-ray. Her nurse, Leo, gave me the direct ph# to the ward and said to call him back in a couple hours - they should have done the x-ray by then and can see if she has fluid in her lungs.......

Kel is definitely going through a midlife crises, just doesn't know what he wants. Yes, why is he still there and wanting you to wait on him, doesn't know how good he has it with you. ((((Hugs))))

Sad to say but this lady would absolutely refuse to do any of his meal preps, repairs on clothing, laundry.......you want some one else then buddy let her do the work. Talk about having your cake and eating it too. Sorry Jaye.

Do we all need to make a trip to see you and have a heart to heart with this man. I do believe we could adjust his current outlook on life....if not his social standing. Ohhhh, that didn't really come out of my mouth did it? shame on me.

I am a fool aren't I? But each time I asked the Lord what should I do, He wanted me to be kind to Kelvin. Keeps leading me back to that chapter in Romans where I should forgive, treat my enemies with kindness and it's like heaping coals on his head. Lately he's been asking for the recipes of his favorite meals. That I won't give, as the chicken poop is a bad cook!
Being a Christian isn't easy and mind you I do have thoughts of vengeance, like a regular person.. but again.. what's the use. Like finding someone who can hack his laptop!!!

Jaye, It sounds like Kel is trying to figure out a way to not pay you. You need to put your foot down, tell him to make up his mind if he is leaving or not, and make him sign some sort of agreement as to how much he is to pay you every month. Don't let him keep you dangling like that.

even if he wrote it all down , he legally isn't obligated to it. Its not a legally binding contract. unless she adds to the contract she provides the services ( consideration of services ) of equal value.
Example ; i kel will give Jaye 500. a month and she provides meals, laundry and other home care services.that could taken to a court of law and used against him. But she has to sue him to legally enforce it. Lawyers involved and $$$ spent .
she will figure it and it will all come full circle :)

Ladies, it is cold in Florida today. Well in my part of northern Fl. No, not a complaint, dug out my sweats, cozy as can be and will have the house warm soon. Baking Kim's birthday cake today.......yikes, it was only yesterday I was holding this little bundle thinking "what am I going to do now?" and tomorrow she will be 52.

Karen, I listened really hard for both of us last night. Mannheim Steamroller was fantastic!!! 3 encores and I do believe we could have stayed for more. 2 1/2 hours of nothing but wonderful music. I can't ever remember having a concert last that long!!!! It has been 10 years since the stereo system has been working. I had made an appointment with Best Buy to come evaluate the current system and make suggestions to get working again. Last night made me so happy I had done that. Finally realized it was my music that is one of the missing links in my life right now.

Gotta run, need to finish Kim's cake as I have a basketball game to attend. Abbigail made the cheerleader squad at her school and of course, Grandma has to go. Not asked to come this time rather...........told to come. Love that girl to pieces!!!!

Ahh Marion, I'll have to dig out my CDs if they aren't packed in storage. I especially miss them at Christmas time. Amelia sure takes after me in that respect, She always is singing, cannot believe how many songs she knows. She learns one after hearing it a couple times.
Amazing how we are at the beck & call of our grands & greats. One thing I really miss up here, I used to go to all their special activities & programs.

We have 6-7 inches of snow now and it just seems like it's here to stay. Bitter cold too, I had to run to town, was 18.

It is very hard to be in her situation. She is between a rock and a hard place. when love is involved sometimes our hearts just don't listen to logic . Jaye may be so overwhelmed by all that is going on, she needs some time with a friend . I m glad she will be going to see her friend during the holidays. Hopefully she can get a clear head and find strenght to get her to a place she is happy with.

Unfortunately, Sue is right. I'm living in a state where I won't get any kind of mandated help from Kelvin. If we were to live in South Carolina, his balls will be toast!!

I have to depend on the Lord, and I truly hope I'll be given a job soon,. Haven't worked for 12 years had kept me out of the loop when it comes to office working skills like word processing and spread sheets.
Other jobs required me to lie that I can stand for more than an hour.
One good thing is, I can drive further now, and my legs are gaining strength without the cane.

Jaye - my dear and loving sister - I understand what you're going through in the financial area, re: Kel - When I got a divorce from Steve, I did the same thing - forgave him and left it to God to deal with him. Steve married someone 6 months before Bob & I got married, and she just wanted someone to look after her when she retired (I'm 6 years younger than Steve, and she's 6 years older). I remember her calling me and telling me how lonely she was while he was on the road (trucker). AND she used to call me her girlfriend!! As is................!! Just because we both were/are married to the same man does Not connect us in any way lmao!!!
Anyway, the part where we're the same, dear Jaye, is a belief in the Lord, and the fact that we were willing to forgive "that man". It's not worth the time or trouble to be mean - it only lengthens out the time before and after the break. I went on Welfare rather than spend the time, energy and heartache chasing after Steve for $$. As a trucker, his wages went up and down like a roller coaster.
Kel, on the other hand, has a steady, good paying job, and Should Pay Through The Nose for 12 years of being your partner and then cheating on you for the last 2 of those 12..... say, wasn't that about when he got this job at the Penitentiary?
Anyway, dear sister - he did wrong by you, and needs to pay you a monthly stipend of the $500 he promised. Giving Chicken Poop the $$ for her bills is not right!

Well, Todd and I decided to get up yesterday and go for a drive to Big Bend national park. It is about 5 hours from us, and it was such a great drive. We spent the night in a motel when we got there, and drove back today!
If you have never been to big bend, you should try to go some time. I have been in Texas since 86, and have never been there, the mountains are so pretty!

I ran across that prayer when I was going through some papers and just knew I had to share.

Went to warm up my coffee in the microwave this AM and the fan kept running even when I closed the door. Got my step ladder, so I could go into the cabinet overhead to pull the plug. Microwave is not in my budget and don't know how I'm going to live without it. Boy, talk about being spoiled! Later on I plugged it back in and the fan didn't come on. Just had to reset the clock and it is working again. So thankful for that.

Yes Susan, they work together on the same shift for 3 years now. She had moved her husband out, and needing Kel to help foot the house and car notes. For a man who claimed he's a Christian, he sure turned to instead of God to help with his 'problems'.

Strange thing about this man, he called me thrice last night from work, checking to make sure I have the heater on.. yet when he returned, he turned off everything!
Truly.. she must have told him something after the calls. God doesn't like that kind of ugly towards His children.

Yesterday morning it was 13 when I got up. Had very little snow. thank goodness. I don't drive when it snows. Went to Bible study today. We are in the book of Acts. We have ours in the day time. Few of us are older and don't drive after dark.

My oldest DD is coming Friday. She might live close to you Jaye. She lives in the Swansboro, Hubert area of NC.
