Very nice cool day, temp. in the high 60's. What a change we have from just a week ago. Glad I'm not in the Midwest. My sister living in Minnesota said they are snowed in, way too early for winter.

I just finished watching the Queen Latifah show, on channel 2 regular channel for us at 2 PM, and enjoyed it so much. Glad you mentioned it Barb, I wouldn't have had the TV at the time. So glad I didn't need to have Direct TV or Dish. Now I'm going to Facebook to see clips that Thunder has posted. I have a RW&B runner on my cedar chest I use for a coffee table that Thunder made. Perfect fit and I get compliments on it. Very proud of it!

Isn't Malena so endearing Pegi? She touches my heart when she said she enjoyed her dad tucking her in bed.. and that Riley. She's a ham for sure!

today is cooking day. i found some meat sales at the reduced meat section. I got two veal steaks but threw them away :( the smell was not good.... :( i had four. Tom and i ate two . so not a total loss.

It was beautifully made, in a pumpkin patch.. how perfect. A treasure for the kids to look back and see how precocious they are.

Weather's fine, this weekend it's supposed to dip in the 30s. nothing's mulched. Don't have the strength nor the money to get new straws. :D

Hope you Barb and my sisters in snowed in states plus Susan, won't see a severe winter this year. The price of heating must be atrocious.

Wow just saw on the news ticker Maryland is taking off all holiday reference on the school calenders . Muslims asked to have their holidays recognized . Wow amazed at this. So they don't have to recognize muslim holidays , they won't recognize any holidays ?? .....

Back in Singapore, all religious holidays are recognised. The citizens enjoy Christmas, Vesak Day *indians*, Chinese New Year, Muslim New Year and Thaipusam *Indian religious festival*. We truly enjoy the days off. Nope, no Thanksgiving (an AMerican tradition).
Chinese are the majority, but the minorities' are given the same recognition.
It's different here, it's always been a Christian nation.

Morning everyone. Sitting at the airport waiting on flight back home. If no delays, I will be home by 9 tonight. My flight leaves grand Rapids at noon, 1 hour to Chicago. Wait 3 hours and fly to san Antonio, then 3 hour drive home. It is going to be a long day.

But so worth it as you got to be with your Dad.... I'll bet he was thrilled to see you and now feels as forlorn as you...... Safe travels LK>....

Told him i wanted to buy a tree and a plaque with his name on it for Jessica's garden . along with donating toys for christmas at a shelter... OBTW , no money was sent to me. So i asked him about it two days ago. here is what i said " I hate to ask but you mentioned Santa Clara took 3,500 are you sure it was wasn't $350.00, because that was the last payment i have recieved since sept ? I m saving money for a tree to dedicate in her garden with your name on a nice marble plaque , the money really helps as i donate to toys for tots this time of year " thanks

I'm doing well - as of this month, I've been married 9 months :) Five years ago, my world crashed down around me when Glen passed away and I didn't have a clue how to go on. But I did - day by day, sometimes minute by minute! - I became a strong, independent woman who took care of herself. Then one day, I met this wonderful man who lived a couple of houses down from my son. It wasn't until a year later, we started dating and now here we are! God knows what He's doing :)

I hope everyone has a great day - I'm staying inside as the high will be around 25 today lol So I'm going to work on my scrapbooking and putter around the garage with my seeds, dreaming of next spring - it's always fun to see what comes back each year.

I must have took a wrong turn some where cuz I couldn't find y'all.. Got a new addition to the family yesterday, a malamute Siberian huskey mixed. She does not like anything or anyone but me. The vet says she will come around. She was Imported from Korea, and her name is ina.

Another cool day! Oh I am enjoying the weather now! But, my energy level is still low even though the hot days are gone. I discovered a lot of old Tupperware in a box out in the garage marked storage. Tupperware I bought before we were married, now that is old. Still in really good shape so I decided to get rid of odds and ends of containers and go back to the Tupperware. I knew I had some but didn't know where I stored them. Now, if only I could find some real treasure! Shoving them off on my son's girlfriend, she can get rid of them if she wants to. At least I am slowly getting things done. I decided I really don't need this large dining room table, doesn't get used and in great shape. I have a small table in my kitchen and that is all I need. It ended up being a catch all for a little of everything. Now to get my shampooer to work for me I can do some much needed carpet cleaning.

So glad to see you Chris. It has been a while. Do you still have the tote I made for you? That was a while ago for sure. You sound so happy and I'm happy for you......

Barb!! YES, I do still have it and use it a lot :) I used it just a couple of weeks ago for a scrapbooking crop and thought of you when I was packing it. I use it for traveling too :) So good to see you again.
