(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Oh wow! I found the bread crumbs first! Thanks for the hot chocolate...hit the spot.

hey everyone.
marking my spot :)
hope you all have a good night sleep

(thunder)Wildwood, FL(Zone 9a)

Marking a spot too.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Oh oh oh can I have some peppermint schnapps in my hot chocolate?? Yum!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Thank you so much LK. You are a wonderful sister for helping me out.

Now Kim can have a good Christmas, Marion.
Teachers should get paid a very competetive salary. In Singapore, teachers get heavily subsidized housing, almost free. besides their pay. If not, there'd be a brain drain, as other Asian countries love to hire Singapore teachers.

Oh Sue, when will Tim ever stop playing his controlling games? He must be one unhappy ex.

Sorry to read that you now have to take care of your mum by yourself Cindy. Maybe Doug will change his mind later.

I am getting my appetite back today. Cooked some Malay stew, and had a couple of tablespoons of rice with that. First rice I had since the big Disclosure.

Susan, Barb, LizH, Thunder, Sis Kathy, Marion, Cookie, Brother Ernie, Lizrainey, Judy, Synda, Sue, LK... and anyone else I forgot to include... can't thank you all enough for your prayers.
I try to keep the joy in me, and just focus on the Lord, and I have to admit, this is actually the hardest battle I'm facing, as it's spiritual.
When I had my heart surgery, I was confident, not worried a bit, as I know I'm in Jesus' capable hands. Can't do anything for myself but to rely on the competency of the surgeons and of course with Christ supervising.

Now I thank God for all of you here. Kel may try to break me, and my emotions may get hold of me now, but you all are right, I'll be the victor.
And I pray Lord have mercy on Kel and the woman.

Sleep well sisters and brother Ernie.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Aw, there's my Jaye!! So glad you're facing this with a better attitude now! Love you bunches!!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Glad to see you posting again Jaye, we are here for you when ever you need us. Keeping you in prayer!

I need prayers for a friend of mine back home please. Her name is Char, and she has been going through surgeries and radiation for almost a year now for colon cancer. She was to go back into surgery this morning to have another mass removed, and they just closed her back up. The family was told she may have maybe 3 weeks left, and everyone is upset at this news. They are a strong Christian family, and need all the prayers for comfort they can get.
Thanks so much!

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

Sending prayers as I type LK . What a shame. May God bless her with peace and comfort....

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Thanks Barb, they were all devastated when they got the news yesterday!

Still cool and raining here. Getting things packed to visit my Dad in Michigan for a few days. I fly out tomorrow, and will be back on the 13th! I will pop in when I can.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

God speed, LK.

Praying for the family. First hand experience says colon cancer is a really terrible way to go....

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Prayers from this house also LK. Pack your long john for your trip...looks like it might be cold up there.

We had a high of 80 yesterday but 66 predicted for today. Quite a change for us. Oh well, the chili pot has been dug out and that will be on the menu for this weekend. Homecoming at FSU so unless we find things to do on the opposite end of town from the university, it will be stay at home weekend. Not a bad idea at that....got some books I need to be ready. Karen, think you might understand that statement. Can you say addictive?

Alas as much fun as it would be for Kim to really celebrate, her smarter self is using the unexpected wind fall to pay her student debts from her last degree thus making it possible to really consider starting her PhD.....that is her dream! She did put some into savings for emergencies.

BTW, those on FB can see her latest cake creation...I don't have a photo in my file. Just look for Kimberly Sproul and it should be on her page. I can not believe she can do this tedious work and finds it relaxing.....mom would be a basket case!!

Jaye, head held high..you are most definitely the winner. We are and have always been here..invisible but here. You are our sistah and we love and yes, support you.

Well need to run...heard a crash and the kittens are very active so need to check............

Waving...hello Thunder.

Glenview, IL

Good Morning, Waiving hello to all.

Yikes so much to say...
I'll begin with Susan, I am just so happy for you to finally See your Son and meet His Woman.
Thank God for her strength in steering him home! I hope that the visit will be just wonderful for all.
Congratulations on their engagement! Well then, shaking my head at that pastor, I'd just keep away from the guy, he is pretty much to point he is being a very obnoxious bully! just my opinion, sounds like he needs to grow up.

Marion, Wow, how wonderful for Kim!! That has got to be just an incredible feeling and the perfect pert to keep on going with such difficult school situation...OMG, love that you and she are making so many cakes to get your extra wants for your kitchen!! I hope all your dental work is now finished so you can heal. Miss you bunches!

Oh Linda Kay, Taking a deep breath, I am so very sorry to hear about your friend. I will keep her and family in my prayers.
I am just smiling though, Finally you are going to see your Family. Give Dad a big armwrap for me.
You just enjoy every possible minute with him. lol I know you will but you know me, just got to say it anyway.
Yes, bring warm clothes. You have a wonderful uneventful and safe travels to and from...whoopie, your cold is so much better!

Sue, pffft about Tim!! Sounds like he is having a temper tantrum, hahaha, kind of funny if you think about it...But i am so glad you got things taken care so you can still go on this trip! I hope its wonderful. Also, just want to say, I think new pup is awesome and im glad the two doggies get along!

DAWN!!! Wow so good to see you. Well, not so good about your brother. I did say a quick prayer I am sorry he wasn't able to get out. Hope all works out for your Mom's move.

Sistah Jaye, Prayers are not a hard thing and you will always be in mine.

Here is my next prayer, Never give up the power of prayer...Never give up on Hope, know, you can always just hand it over to God and he will take care of the rest. It may not be what you expected, Except it.

I am so Proud of you to keep going and holding your ground. I am also praying hard that Kel holds to his word about the money situation.
To be honest i am glad he is taking most of the cats with him to her big house. Its going to sound mean, but Just let him, The fate of those cats will on them. You have cared for them, saved them and loved each and everyone...The ultimate test is letting them go, even him.

...And, if i dare say, If it is really What God is intending, then they go or he is trying to teach Kel a lesson too, uh hello big bruddah dummy think about what your letting go.

...P.S. my DH says it sounds like he is going through mid life crisis! LOL, his advise to kel, forget that woman and buy a Harley!!

Glad you got your appetite back.

Big A R M W R A P S TO EVEY ONE.
(LOL) Liz, i did mean to shout that!!
Have a good day, stay warm and or cool!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Hey Judy, What are you up too?

Well, I have my suitcase packed, and ready to go. LOL! Not till about 5 in the morning. Guess I am just antsy!

(Pegi) Norwalk, CA(Zone 10b)

Have a safe trip, LK. Wow, temp is 87 already, don't know what happened to the cool spell.

So many still need our prayers including me. Jaye, I am left with a small amount each month, exactly $454.28 after paying my mortgage too, wondering how I'm going to do it. One reason I looked into reverse mortgage. That is so scary too, so I'm just talking to our Lord to set me in the right direction. I had saved some money, thank God I didn't tell anyone I had it. The man from the American Advisers Group is still calling about once a week, looking for a big commission I'll bet. I'd only save about $50 a month if I re-financed and interest rate I have now is good so that's out. Hanging in there though. If son can get disability that would help a lot. Enough of my woes, waiting for more rain whenever that will be I don't know.

I have to go to Facebook and see Kim's cake....

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

(((((((Pegi)))))) No one can survive with less than a thousand!! I am feeling your pain dear Pegi. Hope your son qualifies for disability soon.
I had depleted what I brought with me when I moved out here, helping Kel out during the lean period before he works at the prison.
The things you do for love, no regrets, for God will only take away thrice what he owes me.. besides the money.

Hey Sistah Judy, you are so right about him being brainless. If only he'd pick up a hobby but no, it got to be the ONLY non lesbian worker on his shift!
My sister always sends him expensive men's cologne from France. And one is Kenzo which suits him so well.
Now he's wearing Brut.. her taste... and you all know how passe' that is.
From Kenzo to Brut.. certainly.. nothing to be proud of there.

My problem is financial and getting meds for my diabetes. I must thank God they are not much worse.
Linda Kay, your friend has my prayers too.
Cookie is right, one of the cancers that is not merciful.

Have a safe trip LK. Pack heavy clothes! Kiss your dad's cheeks for us.

Marion, I'll look into Kim's creations. She's truly level headed!!

LK have a good trip
Hey Judy ! how are things going. Thank you for the kind words on the pup. She is making our family complete. Yep Tim is a putz ! But things worked out .
Pegi i m sure you will find an answer soon to your morgage issues.
I will go look at Kims cakes. They are always so pretty. She is so talented and creative.
not much going on here.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Judy - Thank you for your kind words - I'm nervous, excited, scared about the visit with my son (still don't have an exact date yet), but it's a good scared, excited, nervous?!?!
As for the pastor, yeah, he's a bully, and yeah - he needs to grow up. His mother is the same way - blows hot and cold on people. More than I have felt her sting. Apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

JAYE - (I'm shouting now) We Love You and we're SO glad you're here with us, so we can be there, with you!! Love you Bunches!

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Me, too!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Good morning everyone!
Today is another day that I don't wake up with a dread in my heart and heavy, heavy eyelids!
Giving praises of the highest echelon to all my family here.
Just LK writing about her friend is a slap on my face that there are more pressing things that Lord have to take care of. Yet, our Lord can do everything and is Omniscient, and He will do what is best for all of us. He just love to hear our prayers and worship, and to Him be the glory of answered and unanswered prayers.

New routine starting here, no heat going on. Thank you GOd, it's supposed to dip to the thirties, but was in the 40s last night and woke up with only two quilts.
Kel bragged that he had insulated the additional bedroom very well, hmm.. he failed to realize that my body temp is always lower than him :D

Been watching Eli round the clock as it is at a critical stage. Had to bring it to the vet two days ago, as it refused to eat solids (vet said it should be) and won't poop.
It lost an oz, which is bad, and then the truck broke down at the vet. Funny thing is kelvin was reluctant and refused to bring me, went fussing that I can drive the truck with a leaking power steering pump!! Lolol!! I am happy that I put my foot down, as mr. cheater had to call the wrecker! And Eli is his by the way... God observes his cussing.

Been 2 days since the visit. Wake up Eli every two hours for feeding.. real slow. Thank God, I had been giving it Pedialyte if not he'll be very dehydrated.
It is now trying to run like a kitten should, and followed me around with his little legs.
My joy for now :D

Got a cheap cut of beef out. Thinking of making fried beef cubes. Don't know if it will turn out good.

Have a wonderful Saturday everyone.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Morning everyone. Jaye we will say prayers for little Eli to continue to eat and grow strong.

I am at the airport waiting for my flight. Only 2 hours to wait. Glad I have some magazines to read.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Praying for a safe flight, LK.
Let us know once you get to your dad's. Love you!

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Prayers being said for you, and for little Eli
Hope you have a safe & wonderful flight, LK!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Little Eli is doing much better, it's appetite has increased and hope this continues, Susan.

Have a great Sunday everyone. I'll be going to church, don't want to miss it, and bringing all of you along with me!!!!

Had fun with Cookie today. Went to a fun store, Then pizza and a beer. Sure enjoy our times together.
I m at Tom's he just got home from work. I have to watch the football highlights for him while he is in the shower. I guess he doesn't realize i have no idea on any of that LOL .
Tim and the new pup seem to get along.
I have my new yoga class tomorrow. I m a bit nervous.
Lk have a good flight.
Jaye stick that beef in a slow cooker girl. :)

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

We did have fun!

Jaye, have a feeling all is going to work out for you AND Eli!! Have a joyful heart, my dear sistah.

Huh, wonder where Ernie got to?

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I am here. And Dad was do surprised to see me.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Thank you God for your safe reunion, LK! How did you transition between Tx weather and there?

Sue, I did beef curry. Slice thinly cooked in no time! It's been donkey's years since I did yoga. Knew most of the arsanas then.. now I think I can't find my chakra. lOLOL.

Eli is doing better, Cookie. Just the heartache seems so slow to go away. Of course if I don't love so much I won't hurt that much! Lolol.
Thanks for reminding me that Joy is here, in my heart, only to be pulled up... :) Love you gal!

Chicken is baked, serving cheater before church. I shall call him that till he repents.. unless God says no. So far I haven't heard His reproach! Lol!!

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone!

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

Wonderful LK> Dad looks good!!!!
Sending prayers and keeping you in all of mine Jaye. Holding you close to my heart...

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

My sis had a coat for me at the airport

(Pegi) Norwalk, CA(Zone 10b)

Went to check on "Outlander" and found I am 57 on a 211 waiting list for my kindle. Better than the 197 I started out with. In the meantime I've read so many books, just finished one in large print (large print is great!) by Debbie Macomber "Rose Harbor Inn" I've read most of her Cedar Cove books which I really enjoyed. Heard Hallmark channel had the series on in 2013 and I only get Hallmark once in a great while. That's how I spend most of my time instead of getting rid of things I don't need. I do get to hold a real book in my hands once in a while. She is one of my favorite authors.

Still too hot out for me, I'll take any cool weather anyone can send.

hey folks
had a good weekend. Slept in ( no kids or dogs ) . Tom and i had a nice breakfast today. Pancakes and poached egg.
Lk what a wonderful pic of you and your dad.
jaye glad your doing better. :)

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Hi sisters and missing brother Ernie.
Weather's here been merciful, no white stuff.
LK, enjoy your stay there, that's very thoughtful of your sister to bring a coat for you.
Pegi, the book can be quite risque too!!! Lolol... make sure you have the fire department's number ready.

Thank you so much Barb and my sisters for faithful prayers.
I am standing on faith, but sometimes, one of my legs decide to give out.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

I did NOT go to church yesterday, but am considering which church to start going to. We have a lot in our area, however several of the ministers are friends with our pastor so that could be awkward......

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

I went to church for all here, so.. you're covered Susan.
The Lord will lead you to the right one..

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Thank you, Jaye - I may do it alone (Bob's at work now) but I continue to pray, and sing His praises.
I'll be going to the United Church Women meeting on Wed - they want me there, regardless.....

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Go where you're wanted, not needed.. for you are much more than a church servant.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Jaye, define Risque? ;-) Have you read them..............not the fire department; just get a huge fan and plenty of ice!!! LOL

Had dinner with Charlie and the girls last night. DIL was very busy with some monogramming she needed finished very soon. She has her own "cottage industry" and was swamped with an order for 200 blankets to be monogrammed.
Abbigail has made the cheerleading squad at school so she was super excited and Catie-Beth well...she was just being Catie-Beth. Was an evening full of laugh and oh so many hugs. Life can be good!! Kim took some pictures so I hope to be able to post them soon. They are growing up so fast!!

Where is everyone this morning?

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

I was waiting for Queen Latifah's show to watch Thunder's son Levi and family!!!!!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Marion, I may have scared everyone away!!!

Risque' a term that most single women would use when they want to get 'menopausal' symptoms like unexpicable body heat! Lol!!

I regret not taking up the offer of a monagram machine when Kel could afford to get me one. Oh well.
Love reading your happy posts on your family. One day, I'll get that chance to see you!
