Good Morning Ladies,

Three days of trips was enough for me now our temps are dropping down to the mid 80's. I've been at my friend Sheri's house since Monday. We spent all day Monday and Tuesday soaking up some HOT sun and staying cool in her awesome pool. Usually the water is so cold you get goose bumps but it's perfect now. ^_^

Joyce, I think the butterfly is a Swallow Tail, and that is about the only one I've seen. Comes everyday and hags around for hours drinking from all the flowers.

Oh oh.. that looks too pretty to sit on Cookie. What did you do with the old couch?

It's gonna be another wet day today. Indoors for this gal, don't have to go to MIL's and Kel will be sweeping and mopping the floors for her. The only help I get from this man when it comes to housework is to turn on the dishwasher!!

Hope and pray that it will be a good day for my sistahs.

I pulled weeds today after I cleaned my customers' house. It was raining, but I put the big umbrella up and worked anyway!

Got a lot finished, too. Still don't know if I'll be ready by Tuesday!

May today be another ordinary day for you all! Anyone has any bad experience on such a day?
In the late 70s, I was on a flight from Hawai'i to S.F and went through a severe thunderstorm. That 747 was rocking and I made so many promises to God if He would let the plane reach its destination.
There were cries and a priest sitting in front of me kneeled and prayed. We were supposed to keep our seat belts on, but the storm was so severe, that the flight attendants ignored him.
Well prayers answered, I'm here and I forgot what those promises were, pretty sure one was to be good to the ex :D

Marion, I see on FB that Kim's into gardening too. Perhaps she can take over your garden chores!
Still going to be another wet day and I asked God to send you some and put on hold for LK!

I'm pooped!!

Glad you had a nice birthday, LK. I saw that beautiful humming bird cake on Facebook.

Took my schnauzer over to the lawn at city hall to get her rabies shot. She isn't used to walking on a leash so soon she was coughing and pulling on the leash. There was a long line as usual and soon Sami was coughing up foam and laid down and wouldn't move. We had to stand in the sun and I think that was just too much for her. I ended up taking her home, no shot, and I thought she was dying. Heat was too much for her I think. Son ran water over her until she cooled down. She seems to be doing OK now, thank God. I'll have to end up taking her to the vet for her shot as license is due now. Mandy doesn't need one until next year. What we go through for our animals. So many different kinds, big and small, were waiting in line and being so good. Glad the day is almost over.

What Jaye? You saw where Kim is into gardening on FB? Hummm, the only gardening I know about is "oh Mom, let's get this plant". Translate to mean: "Oh Mom, buy this plant for me so you can take care of it" :-)

Babysat the girls this week but today was daddy's day off so he kept them today. Kim and I were busy trying to resolve the new wall oven situation. BTW, did I tell you it doesn't fit into the old cabinet? Apparently when this kitchen was done the standard size oven was 27"; now they are 30" wide.

Oh poor Sami!! Pegi, it's the heat that got to her and all that anxiety, if she's coughing up foam. Oh yes, having pets have its' financial drawbacks if we want them around for a long time!

Ehem Marion. But the potted ones should be easy on Kim!! Lol!!!
Yikes, that's true about the old appliances!! Kel has a lot of customers asking for 27" NEW appliances.

Going to bed now. Was awake for a few hours. Did take pictures of the moon. One was at 11 and the other at 3.30 this morning as it descends through the trees.
As I said on FB and another room. Unfortunately it is as bright as a conventional incandescent light bulb that the honey color was flooded by its white brightness....

I'm off to try to weed eat this morning first with the new gas trimmer. Having an acre and a half of garden means double the weed load!

Had Bryn and Emma helping me with some mulch yesterday. Bryn burned and Emma didn't. They both had on sunscreen. I guess Emma's skin took after her Daddy's side of the family!!

Nothing planned for good old dad. Don't know if the girls will call or not. I don't think he even realizes what day it is. He must have had one heck of a dream or hallucinating. Tore all the covers off, raised the bed in every direction, like a sandwich, and talked about a hot air balloon and electricity. He sure worries about the electricity, wants to know if it is American or Mexican. I have to laugh at times. Think I need the pills prescribed for him for anxiety. I think I'm being tested, and I sure do hate tests. It is quiet in the living room now, so maybe he catching up on the sleep he lost last night.

Took flowers to the cemetery and Kim is preparing her dad's favorite meal for dinner. Rainy lazy day for us.

spent yesterday afternoon in the ER again. I just spent Thursday afternoon there. they are treating me for diverticulitis even though none of the tests and pics show it, but I have the symptoms. they finally refered me to a specialist. I will not lt this interfere with my vacation. I leave the 25th until the first, sp pray I don't get sick while i'm gone.

So sorry Kathy. I personally know that it is not fun when you get a flare up! Sending prayers your way!
