I do hope they are crinums, also.
Linda Kay, as soon as I can dig the Lycoris, I will also dig you a couple of the pink crinum bulbs. I also have an extra Crinum asiaticum I can send you. The leaves are a couple feet long and 2 to 3 inches wide.

Wow, those are pretty. Please take your time! No hurry!
Deejay's bulbs look alot like my Surprise Lily, Magic Lily, Resurrection Lily, Naked Lady
Lycoris squamigera just to give a couple of names for the same plant...lol
except that my surprise lilies currently have lost their leaves but have not broken ground yet to bloom. Should be anytime now. Well it will be fun to watch to see what does blooms. A
All of the pics of the 'it might be' are sure pretty...lol Any of them would be beautiful to have.
Julie has the fairy swap open.

gl, you want a few?
Joyce thanks so much. But i do not have enough sun for the surprise lilies. You have already been more than generous with your lilies. Also I have no where to put anything. My yard is so full. ? Ol. Addicted to plants thats for sure.
Ok gl, you could do like Debra and start gardening in your relatives yard...lol
My problem is I have too much room and I want stuff everywhere, but I don't have the support staff that the folks on tv have...lol
True, true. Gardening is hard work but very gratifying. My hubby has never helped in the garden. Only if its for a vine of some kind. I am not a vine love just clematis.
Oh gl that is my house. DH thinks if it is green it should be mowed! Least this way I have full control on what I plant...LOL so it is not all bad.
Oh yes everything thats in my yard it there I put it there. ;) thats fine really. It relaxing to be out there.
oh, lucky you. that is beautiful
hope it will put out seeds to share :))))
So pretty wish I were warmer sure have zone envy...lol
Please post pics as it grows. What cha gonna grow it on?
I put it in the raised bed, with metal garden stakes around it! I hope it takes off too! I will share seeds if I get them. Just remind me.
Love the corkscrew plant. So pretty. I am with you happ. I always have zone envy!!
Ladies, if i could ask you all to keep my Dad in your prayers. He just went back for surgery to have his leg removed. He is diabetic, among other medical problems, and has had 2 toes removed due to infections. Well he developed another sore on his big toe, and the Dr.'s have been treating it for months, and the infection started going up his leg. So he is about to lose his leg.
Thanks so much!
Oh Linda Kay how sad. He is surely in our prayers. Does he live close to you? Such a tough thing to go thru.
He is in Michigan where my Sister lives. Grand Rapids.
I kind of figured that. It is so sad. He and everyone is in our thoughts and prayers.
Diabetes is a bad disease. It attacked my Moms eyes ;( I thought if you did the diet and you were careful which she was you would be ok. But the doctor said no it doesn't work that way. It just helps slow it down some.
I agree about being diabetes. Sure is a bad disease!
Yup It can get you no matter how good you are.
Dad is out of surgery, and the Dr. said everything went well!
Thanks for all the prayers!
So glad to hear that Linda Kay, I know that is a relief. Now on to a good recovery.
So sorry Linda must be hard being so far away from him. I work in a long term acute care hospital LTACH. Almost all of our patients have diabeties or renal failure and almost all of them have a limb missing from the desease. So sad we always say if you think you have it bad..... so glad your dad is doing good.
Thanks Ronna!
It is hard not being able to be there.
Dad had multiple strokes back in 2001, and No one thought he would make it, not even the Dr.'s. When he pulled through, the Dr.'s told us he would not last 3 years, and here it is 13 years plus later. He is paralyzed on his right side, he can't walk, or speak, so when my Mom passed away in 96, the 4 of us kids took turns taking care of him. Then about 2 years ago, while in Michigan with my Sis, he started getting sores on his toes, and started going downhill. The Dr. said he needed to have a toe removed, and put him in a nursing home after that surgery. Then another toe was removed, and now this surgery. We all never thought he would make it this far, but he is a pretty determined guy, and so far is still with us!
Wow Linda Kay that is a story of determination!
All of us keep telling him he is a stubborn old coot! But he is very strong willed.
Stubborn Old Coot is a good thing.
Yes it is.
Warning for anyone on Facebook!
If anyone gets a private message from anyone that says they work for Facebook, and that you have won the lottery, don't believe it. Delete that person immediately, and report them! It is a SCAM!!!
I got a private message from a Mary Collins, and she said she worked for Facebook. Then she said I won part of a Facebook lottery with 20 other persons. I told her there is no such thing, and that I would report her, which I did! PLEASE DON'T FALL FOR THIS!
Thanks taters. Always has to be someone trying to cause problems.
Ggggrrr, thank the lord it has not happened to me yet. Why do peeps have to make others lives so miserable? I just want peace is all.
Gotta wonder how their mind works, do they justify it in their mind, or scarier yet do they not need to justify it at all?
Speaking of pest, mosquitoes have been horrible this year, I am constantly finding something that is collecting water, ughhhh, love the rain, hate the mosquitoes!
LK did u get any rain from that tropical depression? looked like it didnt go all over TX but covered alot of it.
No rain here!
Oh I was hoping you would get some ;( Didn't think it looked like it went west enough ;(
Think I have asked this on all the forums, but how do you all get your plants ready to come indoors? I would like to get rid of the bugs prior to them coming in the house and I have waited too late to use bayer which I usually use and don't have time, energy, or money enough to change out all the soil... ;)
I found this site, maybe it will help you?
