I'm pressed for time, as we will be bringing a kitty to the vet. Poor thing was wild, couldn't get close to it, but it came limping to me a couple days ago on the back porch, all battered.
Nursed the torn ear, some wounds but I can't tend to the injured leg.

Oh LK, this kitty came to our property last year. Truly wild but gets along with the others outside. Each time I get close to it, it ran.
I know something's wrong when it just hopped to me and cried. I truly believe there are angels for animals. Hope the vet will say something positive about the leg.
It didn't give me any problems in the house. Like all cats, don't need to be litter trained. I'm amaze at how it wants so much attention from the other kids. Thank God, none of them reject this one.

Morning! Rain is headed our way, so I'm sitting on the swing by the pond while the sitting is still good! I'm glad it's going to rain as we need it and I won't have to water! Still have a few things I should get in the ground but wanted to check in!

Each day I wake with the hope that Darwin will be feeling better and want something to eat. Not yet, but still have hope that will happen. He always remembers his medications though, something that I just can't seem to do.
Would love some rain too, but I know that isn't going to happen. Need to get out and check my plants to make sure they aren't thirsty. Trash barrels will be empty again so I can start filling them up for next week. It doesn't look like I made a dent in the mess, but one of these days................
Well, here I am not dressed again and won't get anything done being lazy.

So proud of my granddaughter and her friend. In TN they have started a facebook site called Blessings & Barter. Anyone can post what they have to barter and what they need. It's totally a cashless site. They are also collecting donations for a free yard barter. Anyone in need can come get it there and if they can donate something in barter fine, but not required. What ever is left over will be given to a charity.

One person needed diaper so badly they were offering a youth bed in barter. I told my DGD to go buy a big pkg. of the size needed on my card and take them to her.

Keep in mind my granddaughter lives an a very thin shoestring and still she tries to help others.

The kitty's fine. Her name is Billie Jr. We had a Billie that died, and it loved to meow with some definitive scales leading to a high pitch crescendo.......unlike caterwauling!! This second Billie seems to be a reincarnate, but low wails.
Her hurt paw will heal, no bones broken. Antibiotics and ear mite medicine. Gosh, if not for this cheap vet, I don't think we can do the best for the kitties, Lola and Hambone.

I bought a new computer today, and took the othrone back. My new cabinets will be delivered in the morninnng. .....sissy did you sent this rain to me.

Uhhhh, did you need it? If yes, then yes I did! If not, then NO I didn't ! (How's that for beating around the bush?)

DD: Dear Daughter, DGD: Dear GrandDaughter, DS: Dear Son, DH: Dear Hubby, you get the idea. The confusing one is DSIL cause it can be son in law or sister in law!

Ronna, I get quite perturbed at not being able to decipher those 'shortcuts' and yes it's confusing to denote the gender of DSIL! Then on FaceBook, for a long while, I thought SMH means So much hate.. but it's Shaking my head! Always something new to learn everyday.

Well Miz Jaye, I am so glad you said it will be a wonderful Saturday. Might say this house needs that after this past week. First our microwave is "iffy" as far as working; then the oven died..kaput refuses to heat one more time and yesterday the big a/c unit for the downstairs croaked. They say it comes in threes so there we be. I can't really complain (well knowing me...I can complain) as the a/c unit is 23 years old plus and I have known for a couple of years it was working on borrowed time. Just the timing wasn't the best in the world for it to die. Oh well...could be worse.

Life really is good and that is NOT be funny....I am still in my own house, sleeping in my own bed. Best of all, I am going to see Peter Pan tonight with both girls being in the production.....croc and pirate. 3 guesses which one is the pirate. :-)

Yes I have been MIA for a LONG time!! I don't know how many of you know this but I moved from Central Arkansas to Northwest Arkansas and got a really good job at House of Webster doing outside sales! It's a bundle of fun, lots of travelling, and my territory is Missouri, north to the Great Lakes and all the way East to Maine and into Canada. I've been worried about these stupid tornadoes that have been happening, there was one that hit the town I was staying in during my divorce. It didn't hit the house I had been in, but we do know people who were hit, one gal's parents lost their t-shirt store and another family lost everything. I donated some clothes to them, hopefully they worked. That was the strongest tornado in in Arkansas ever.

I want to do the 7th Annual Red White and Blue exchange but I'm so broke I can't pay my bills. I owe someone a Christmas pressie still :(
