No box here yet, but the post office here is only open from 830-10 on Saturdays so I'm sure that has something to do w it. I'm getting all my chores done today so I can dive in the seeds tomorrow!! Yayyy

Shorty, yes I think I need the same prescribed to me.. I got 2 hours of sleep last night looking up various seeds I wasn't sure would grow well here, then there were a few I doubt will, but oh well, I can always use another houseplant! Oh I need sometime to come watch my preschooler today so I can take a nap. I am le tired..

Juhur, Just making an observation, not judging! Lol I have been known to plant things after dark, in the greenhouse under lights, that is.

I was planting more zinnia Today , until 88 and a sun shining put an end to that , You see , sometimes late evening has it's purpose ,planting in the sun , is not always the thing to do .. lol
Potted up a Super Steak Tomato plant . Made up a concoction for a pumpkin one of the Giants , Will find out later ..
My efforts are way behind , moving along with it though.
Peppers in the first ,other two Tomatoes

Holy smokes, the dust has settled and I'm ready to come out of hiding.. that sure was fun! She'll be headed to ilovejesus99 tomorrow :)) I have A LOT of housework to get caught up on now, but it was sooo worth it!

Doing some red eye gardening huh? Lol I'm too chicken, scared a snake or tarantula will come and get me!

It always seems like , there are not that many seeds , in a little baggie , However , when you start growing the seeds ,,
Especially all the different types and species ,,
I for one get overwhelmed , I have to be better at doing a few things , You all do a lot of plants !
SWPD(Becky) I hope the Robin seed does well for you , and `I will start a couple from our side trade this week ,, How slow is that , it just got to you , and I'm just getting going ,,

Yes the generosity of participants was overwhelming! And yes y'all do a lot of plants! My friends think I'm nuts but I tell them I'm just a wannabe compared to you all!! Juhur, I'm gonna start the peppers you sent this week, think it's too late? Hope not..

Hopefully ilovejesus99 got the bird today, if not then it will be Monday.

That was sad to say goodbye to all those seeds, but I seriously can't wait to play this again :))

So to give you an idea how things are going on this end, my live-in BF of 13+ years moved out Sunday (we've been out of synch for years, complicated) and posted yesterday that he was engaged to marry his GF from h.s. who is just separated from her husband in Georgia to chase my ex BF.

So.

I am going to open the Mug Swap and that will cheer me, instantly.

Wonderful Amanda, as bad as the situation seems, it could have been worse. It could have taken longer to know the cad you chose...you could have married him...you could have had children with him. You have much to be thankful for at this point, like a chance to choose again, only better.

I do recommend a good Mug Swap and a hefty dose of weeding to help keep your chin up! Prayers for a peaceful heart goes out to ya.

I agree with Mipii. I know 13 years is alot to give someone as I gave 31. Take a deep breath and be glad she has him and not you. Just because they was hs sweethearts doesn't mean they can stand each other now. My therapist recommends 9 month to a year to date as anyone can put up a good front that long but then they have to be themselves and OUCH in most cases not so good. You are a beautiful woman inside and out and deserve the very best even if that means doing it by yourself.

Just as I was fine with being alone I found someone who enhances my life. I have found no one can complete you. You have to do that yourself and some one can enhance your life.

Well I am up from napping and wrong hours , so I am running through all threads asking for seeds of ragwort or goatweed ,
As though I don't have enough to be overwhelmed already , I had the ragwort , a construction site did away it before I could get to it , and it would not of been exactly legal either , I am a little aged to be playing those games , lol
I was happy to find some false nettle I have growing ,,^_^
These are stinging nettle with a Red Admiral ,
Why I always ask and mope , and mull , until I find what I want ,, goodness , I did get spoiled ..LOL ^_^

My parents were together for a miserable 13 years, then he married his soulmate and has been with her even longer than that. Just think of his as an experiment, a guinea pig if you will, time to trade him in for the newer model LOL

Nanny23, everything is doing wonderfully and growing like crazy - you definitely spoiled me in the April bulb swap! That liatris spicata is already starting to send up what looks like the beginnings of flower buds, it's loving this Florida sun. :)

Glad to hear it! I'm sure the Liatris is getting ready to bloom, mine aren't quite there yet, but it won't be long! I would love some of that Florida sun about now! We have sunshine, but it is only 57*.

I would send you some Texas sunshine for a few weeks of 57* We have had a long spring but wish it would last till Sept :)

If you can figure out how to work that trade you got a deal! It is 37* this morning! BRRRRRRR!
