Kel had to return from work early so he can get a few hours sleep before bringing MIL to the doctor. Those loud snores of his woke up this house for sure, and disrupt very much needed sleep.

Hello all. Whats going on? We went an seen a movie 12 years a slave. So very sad. The depliction I am sure was pretty spot on. Any one seen it? Kept you glued to the screen thats for sure. I got a call about my application for the home depot. But it is for 8 to midnight. I have to get up at 4 for my full time job. so there is no way I can do that. Darn.it is really cold here today. Only 20 degrees. Windy and snowy.gggrr when is it going to go away?

bout time someone woke up in this house

Morning, I am here. Fresh coffee with biscuits with gravy, and crisp bacon.

Yum! Count me in!!!

I am up, had coffee and not one but 2 guava pastries for breakfast. Bad girl, I know but oh they were so good and I need some "good" about now.

Someone left the freezer door open and blew the cold weather down this way. Okay, who is responsible? Woke up to high winds and the temperatures in the 40s! Burrrrrrrrrrr.

Sue managed to sleep a full 8 hours last night which is way more than she has done since I arrived. Usually she sleep fitfully for about 2 or less. A huge babystep but a step forward never the less. She is still very nervous, easily agitated and paces non stop but atleast the idea of ending her life isn't talked about as much. That within itself is a huge improvement according to the doctors.

Still have no idea how long I will be here but it is safe to say as long as she needs me, I am here for her. She is my sister, what more do I need to say!

Sounds like things are going forward for you and Sue! Keeping you both in prayers!

It actually is pretty nice outside not still only 32 but the wind is not blowing so hard now. Makes a huge difference. Took the ole dog for quit a walk and we both enjoyed it very much. Sunny. Makes anyone feel better. Am looking forward to a threeday weekend and our tribute band to Queen. Saturday we are going to go see my manger who plays in a band. Lots of music going on here. Enjoying it very much. We wanted to go see the Eagles in September but those tickets are way to much. Gggrrr. The seats way up in the very first row are 4800. 00!!!! Why?

That is a lot of money for Eagle tickets!

well tomorrow is taxes. Then April 1 i go to the lawyer and start filing divorce. ! LOL April 1st i thought was a good date LOL ...... well the kids know, so the secret is out.
hopefully we can get it all finished by june. knock on wood. we are not fighting about anything but there is time :(.

Spoke to Jaye for a minute earlier today she still is battling her sickness .She said she didn't sleep last night for coughing. I pray she was able to rest and get some sleep today and gets better soon ,she still speaks with barely a whisper !

Snowed last night and this morning ,but was melted by afternoon. It's 25* now and supposed to be 50* tomorrow and keep going up and down for the next week.
Rick took vacation days from work Friday and Saturday so him and Ryan can dig up the well and the lines to it. Our pump keeps kicking on every 8-10 minutes whether we use water or not ,definitely a problem and have to find it ! But had to wait until it got warmer so the exposed lines wouldn't freeze .So finding another car has to be put on hold ,the pump and well are more important right now !
We were down to 4" of fuel oil in the tank ,so we had to cough up a $100 for a whole 28 gallons .That put us up to 8" (it's a 44" tank ,that holds 275 gallons of fuel). We have had the heat turned down to 60* so we didn't use as much ,normally we have it set on 65*.Boy does 5* make a difference !!!!!
Our 17th Anniversary is Friday the 28th !

Yesterday was not to bad. Kinda warmer just cause it was not blowing so hard makes it more bearable. Today 44 and rain. I woke up extra early today???? Not quit sure why. Last day of six for me then we both have a three day weekend.

Thank you so much Synda for letting our sistahs know that I'm sick as a dog. Still am. I know I got it from Kel, and he told me that half of his unit came down with a cold/flu. Body aches, hoarse throat, headaches, earaches.. and the cats decided to have a Spring Fling. Flinging everywhere having scenarios.

After my heart surgery, 2 sisters insist that I return home saying that I won't be lacking of much needed family support. Kind of a conundrum, when at that time, Kel had to be there for his parents. Plus there's no way he can get a job in Singapore. Moreover, he doesn't care for seafood :D

Ronna, that's way too high for Eagles!!! My colleagues and I shelled out $75 a piece for their "Hell Freezes Over" concert in 1995 at the Cajun Dome, in Lafayette La. We had the back row :( Then it was too expensive for us, but we wanted a memorable girls night out. The only concert that I had to pay above 100 was EC in 1999. Can't imagine tickets for the back row can reach above thousands! Tell your DH that EC, Page and Plant will be heading the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival next month.

April 1st, and it's not gonna be a fun day for you Sue!! Lol!! What a date to pick for a divorce proceeding! Hope the kids take it well.

Kids took the news ok i guess. Honestly its not as if they have ever had a dad around anyway, so for them the comment was " so nothing will change ? " ..... sad. They are so used to not having him around that it has not been much emotional strain on them. Nor has he really ever attempted any real relationship with them beyond a weekend dad relationship. They have a better relationship with our neighbors ! .

well i started spring cleaning, got the laundry room floor done. I actually looked behind the door LOL been two years since i looked behind that door Bwhahah

Some places got some rain, but not here. Cool and windy, but still better than hot. I tried to install my printer and the disk said it wasn't compatible with windows 8. Called the Geek Squad again and asked if I had to buy a new printer, gal looked it up and said new drivers had to be installed so she turned it over to a tech and he installed everything I needed and printer is now working. Wish I had one of those tech's living with me. LOL I always have so many questions and since I'm paying for this service I might as well use it. Wonder if I'll ever get the hang of all this stuff.

Sorry to hear so many are sick. DH now has Afib besides COPD plus cancer, doctors always seem to find some new problem. But, I think he is feeling a little better, next week he sees oncologist, chemo treatment and on the 4th the primary doctor. Just one week without some doctor would be nice.

Just when do all of you get together. So many are excited and I want to see some pictures posted. So hard to make plans ahead when you never know what the next day will bring.
